oswald comes from a long line of necromancers in
midgard. it is common for the elwyn line to care for
nothing but power and this is written in who they end
up marrying. elwyns marry, promising their spouses a
fair share of the power they gain, but never keeping
those promises. so when oswald married a cynic in
disguise as an angel, caesin, he was all set. the fact
is, caesin didn't care even a bit for oswald, which he
was completely fine with. regardless, they raised a
son, terrance, together, who wound up being
forgotten by the time he was eighteen. in terms of
necromancy, oswald was the best people knew, but
he only ever used his powers for himself, making
puppets out of authoritative figures in midgard to
steal their wealth and power.

caesin loves nothing more than tricking others into trusting her,
then breaking that trust in an elaborate scheme to watch them
writhe in pain as she drains them of their life force. she loves
listening to the weak beg her for their lives after acquainting
them, using her kind, motherly facade. she's delusional and is
even open to harming one of her own if she's really desperate.
basically, a sadist if you've ever seen one.

light. regardless, her father and brother
loved her very much and she grew up to
be an outstanding and cunning woman.
she made her way back to chrysolitus by
calling on a few favours from the local
mage. there, she played the fiddle
during fey revels to get by until she met
the son of a wealthy politician,
aphaeleon xyrcan. she got married at 21
and gave birth to her first son not long
after. joji got to name him. when she
had her second born, aphaeleon took his
father's place on the fey council.

aurora is bright, bodacious, and a badass. she doesn't take crap from anyone and likes when things are done her way. while
it may seem like she's insensitive, that's definitely not the case. she's just stubborn. it may be dramatic, but she would much rather
undergo torture than admit she's wrong. she'll defend her loved ones with her life, but won't even do so much as bat an eye when it
comes to anyone else. aurora is a strong believer in free will and wants everyone to be able to do whatever the heck they want. it's
a flawed mindset, but that's just who she is. because of this, she argues with aphaeleon a lot, knowing he wants to push their kids
in a political direction. most would call this unhealthy, but the arguments are very much what keeps their marriage above water.

johnny was just a kid. he wasn't ready to grow up. he was a party
animal who didn't want anything to do with responsibilities or
adulthood. johnny had a playful personality and loved practical jokes.
he didn't believe in being serious or stopping to think for a second. a
lot of what he does is out of irrationality or just 'for the heck of it'. of
course, things tend to take a turn eventually. johnny doesn't actually
know where joji came from. but after finding the kid on his
doorstep with a note, johnny realized that he was a man with a life
and he had responsibilities. in a way, joji woke him up from a lifelong
dream. being a single father spun johnny around and turned him into
a wise and sensible man.

apartment for himself. johnny has been in quite a few relationships, none
of them lasting for too long since he never believed in commitment. he
was pretty confused when a baby popped up at his door with a note only
signed with a single letter 'j'. seeing as the kid was most likely his, johnny
changed entirely. he named the kid and gave up his careless lifestyle. he
got a job and a bigger home, giving joji the best life he could manage.
