- a young trainer that delved too far into radical ideology that led to a sharp downfall before he could get himself out of it. uncertain due to the events that transpired while apart of the radical group, minato travels alongside his pokemon in search of something he lost on the way. troubled. a criminal in his naivete.
- an ambitious girl who believes in the power to change the world with the simplest of choices. grew up in a household by herself with her father who taught her to always be strong no matter what. when she was a year into her first journey, spurred on by her father, she received news of his passing and quit the adventure in mourning, only returning to adventure two years later. still, she took on her father's legacy once more after the break and went on, determined to make him proud.
- not a serious trainer, but casually wants to explore to see new sights and places. natsume travels the world with his partners in search of a sight he's never seen before. which is a lot. he's daring and seemingly unknowing of his own mortality, putting himself in dangerous situations often to try and spark something in himself and others. has no sense of pain apparently. hates doing things twice.
- a used to be farmer since he was a kid. cared for a lot of miltank and ponyta as a kid alongside his lillipup, martini, up until he had made the decision to leave alongside martini to adventure farther than the confines of the ranch. they travelled together for a bit, catching more pokemon and martini evolving into herdier until a fateful encounter took the life of martini. after this event, tadashi returned to take over the farm, releasing all of the pokemon he has caught due to the bad memories and just wanting to get away from it all. however, unable to settle properly, when he found an odd set of living keys that had the audacity to try to pick a fight, it was there he realized how dull things had been and decided to make an effort to explore once more, not giving up on the memories between him and martini but not ready to give up either. he set out once more alongside a new set of keys: calvin.
