Wolf
Name:: Skylar Nordskov-Arden, or "North" to most.
Gender:: Female
Age:: 21
Personality:: A fierce gal, with a lion's heart, a good brain (albeit one she rarely uses) and more often than not way too much caffeine in her system, Skylar is usually found exactly where she shouldn't be. Whilst her courage and loyalty really can't be doubted, she is somewhat mischievous and, in addition to being a tad distant and cold-hearted, extremely reckless. Occasionally she suffers meltdowns, and large groups of people (who she's not allowed to hit) make her nervous. She also has a strong stubborn streak, a pessimistic personality and - in a weird way - sometimes needs constant reassurance, even if she appears the definition of independent. That said, she is deeply selfless and protective, and a very good hunter/fighter who has made herself an invaluable pack member. Sort of.
Sexuality Heterosexual
Crush:: Will develop.
Children:: Incapable.
History::Contrary to many here, Skylar has lived as a "human" almost all her life, despite being having a lot of werewolf bloodline on both sides. She was born as Skylar Rennard Wolfe, Lady of Blackford, to an English Earl and a Norwegian Pack Alphess. Her parents divorced when she was young, with her mum gaining custody and raising her in a city of Alta. When Skylar was twelve, her mother remarried to an ex-SAS werewolf called Thomas Arden, who shw had met in London a few years previous and moved with him to his home in Norfolk. The move wasn't a problem for Skylar: she was bilingual, and enthralled by Tom's tales of service life. She grew really close to her stepfather and at fourteen chose to change her surname to a combination of her mother's maiden name and his surname. As she grew older, she decided she wanted to be just like him, taking up several martial arts and joining the army cadets at her school.
Unfortunately, she was rejected on grounds of being a girl, and instead ended up as a frontline dog handler. It hurt her, but she learned to enjoy her job. Her squad became her second family; she's still in touch with them, in fact. The ones who survived it, anyway.
That's where this soldier's story ends, however, as far as the pack are concerned. All they know is that she ended up in a hospital after being almost fatally injured when her base was stormed by enemy soldiers, the more informed knowing just how badly she was hurt. They've guessed that she ended up here because she wanted to escape, fed up with the sympathy that the scars, the PTSD and the loss of her lower left leg brought her, but the rest of her history - everything up until the hospital - remains a mystery.
Phew, all done! This is the Beta application, BTW. Is she okay?
