history/personality Born to a fae mother, Nevar was left in the mortal realm and was adopted by the family she grew up with. She was a commoner and lived a life normal to her social class, until the day she learned she had magic; after that, her life was never quite the same. Nevar could see things her family and friends couldn't, she was able to use magic and heal people and sometimes even plants. She is able to extend her aura and energy into her surroundings and share the ability to accelerate the healing process. When she was fourteen years old, Nevar was summoned by the Vemoux family for her healing powers. She joined the household staff as the healer, an important role in a family that trains soldiers of such a high calibre. The experience that position offered her was invaluable. Nevar learned how to effectively treat different injuries instead of just forcing her power to fix the problem. Bruises and lacerations take less energy and are faster to heal than broken bones that need more time with a lower, more constant stream of magic. Poisons could range anywhere between minor effort and heavily involved processes. Of course, it wasn't only knowledge and experience that she gained. Nevar also got to know many people through her position, and even grew to be fast friends with the Vemoux heir, Erec. Their friendship has become one of honesty and support, Nevar being more than someone to heal his cuts and bruises. She views him as something almost like a brother, a person she looks up to as a role model and will do her best to protect.Nevar has spoken with people on their death beds, she has brought some soldiers back from the brink of death, and even witnessed families grieving for someone who just passed. Her job is taxing, both mentally and emotionally, but also on her own physical body. If she uses her power too much in a short window of time, the young girl is hardly able to move. Her body basically shuts down everything but the primary functions to recover. Over the years, Nevar's endurance has increased and she is more skilled than before, but that is more due to her knowing her limits and not pushing beyond what she is capable of. This knowledge comes with what some might call an abrupt bedside manner. However, that is just her personality coming through. Nevar is very clear with anyone she speaks with- she will (bluntly) provide her own advice as to whether an action is recommended or not. She has even gone so far as to tell someone that their idea is dumb and that she won't heal them if they go through with it. This is not to say she lacks empathy. The healer is very familiar with the pain people suffer when they get injured, or they lose a loved one. She views it as her mission to prevent that pain, rather than to simply treat it. If pain, suffering, and grief can be avoided, then her focus can be directed towards those who truly need her help.


Physical appearance Often considered short, Nevar reaches most people's shoulders. Her height has never been much of a concern to her, however, since injured people typically lie down or fall over. She has light blond hair and green eyes that speak volumes, even when she keeps her mouth shut. While working, she is mostly seen wearing the standard healer's gown and apron, sometimes a mask and gloves accompany her outfit. On her days off and in her free time, Nevar prefers trousers with pockets as well as thicker shirt with long sleeves. Both in and out of her uniform, she normally ties her hair back in someway or another.

The MWPSB negotiated an agreement to let the hostages go, but not until after the other trapped passengers had turned to violence to try and escape. By the time the doors were opened, Diana's hue was so clouded and her score was high enough for her to be locked away into isolation right away. The only reason she wasn't shot with a dominator was because she was too in shock to register anything that was happening anymore. While Diana had not committed any crimes, she witnessed sheer human panic in the face of a major threat. In regards to 'tracking' targets, Diana specializes in pursuing individuals who flee from the inspectors and enforcers. She can deduce what a person would see when they panicked, where they were more likely to go and whom they would try to avoid and whom they would trust. Diana is able to separate herself from her past memories of panic and fear while working, but that doesn't stop her from feeling empathy for the people who never broke the law or even planned to. They were just scanned at the wrong time, or were collateral in a larger plot from a real criminal.

Four years passed by for her in isolation, completely alone and feeling abandoned by her family, before she was offered a job as an enforcer with Division One at the Public Safety Bureau. That was where she reunited with her sister after being apart for so long, though it wasn't an emotional nor happy one. Diana wasn't sure how she felt towards Akira after her years alone. Her family had left her for dead once the Sybil system said she wasn't normal anymore. 国 Guo (country) Guo is of common birth, born and raised in a relatively isolated town, never knowing what the rest of the world is like. His parents work as local merchants, and were very encouraging when he expressed an interest in acupuncture. After several years of training and study, Guo drew the attention of a well-known and highly regarded healer of the kingdom and became her apprentice. Under her tutelage, Guo learned of the other nations and their practices, and how his own practice was derived from more than simple earth bending. The ancient healers used shared knowledge between some benders from other nations to grow and develop the current branch of medicine. While Guo specializes in acupuncture and earth-derived styles of healing and bending, he is familiar with the medicinal theories of the other nations, though he would not go so far as to say he understands or could even articulate their approaches in an appropriate manner. When presented with the opportunity to be a part of the Earth Kingdom team for this new city, Guo leapt at the chance to leave his familiar circle, but more importantly the opportunity to meet and learn from other benders with more experience.

中 Zhōng (middle, loyal) Guo has an above average aptitude for earth bending. He is able to bend metal and crystals, though he is certainly not a master of his bending or healing. Guo admires his master for her abilities and skill, but he feels he could bring more creative and innovative approaches to acupuncture, a big reason he wanted to be a part of this new city. In combat, Guo favours a more defensive approach with distanced attacks. He will throw his needles to weak points on his enemies' bodies, leaving them temporarily incapacitated. It is a good compromise for Guo who prefers to avoid violence whenever possible.

history Hayate grew up in a family that firmly believed that the fire nation was right to wage war on the world, and never made an attempt to teach their son of their history- only sharing how powerful they are. This led him to grow up with those same beliefs until he was 18 years old and reached out to learn on his own. The truth he discovered shook him to his core and left a bad taste in his mouth. Hayate had committed himself to serving the military of a nation responsible for war on a global scale, for genocide and ruthless murder of all who opposed their rule. It was true he had a talent for fighting and bending, his instructors believed he could become the next general when he was still young, but Hayate nearly turned his back on it all. Until he met the heir to throne. Akemi was someone whom Hayate could believe wanted to do good, even if she didn't fully understand the world she currently lived in- she at least had a vision for the future. The heiress is the sole reason Hayate stayed in his homeland and continued his training. While he seriously considers any of his orders before acting and sternly holds himself accountable for the consequences, Hayate stands behind Princess Akemi and her decisions. He has yet to see a reason why he should question or disobey her orders.

Even four years after his rude awakening, Hayate is still learning and coming to grips with his ancestral history. He takes a few hours every night after training to continue reading or researching. His reason for staying with the military and rising the ranks on his own terms are rooted in his goal for seeing the Fire Nation restored to a way of life everyone deserves. Hayate doesn't simply want to return to the old days before the war, but he wants their people and nation to learn from their past and the mistakes that lead to the turmoil. He wants the knowledge to be a source of inspiration to prevent something like that from happening again.

While training with others, Hayate is often described as aggressive and intimidating. It is quite common for Hayate to wake up early and take time to himself and let out some anger in some solo drills before he steps on the practice floor with others. His emotions fuel his bending, lending himself an edge in many situations. However, Hayate is careful not to let it cloud his judgment or consume him in the moment. Even out of armour and "combat mode" the Fire Nation Warrior has a short temper and flares of anger, though he has considerably more control when he is on duty than not.

Many mistake his aggression and passion for anger or even hatred when, in reality, he only wants to help people and do what's right. Hayate has always had a strong sense of justice, getting into fights as a kid when he saw bullying or someone tried to pick on him. Pairing all of that with a short temper and hot-headedness, the young man got into plenty of trouble growing up simply because he could not regulate his emotions properly. Once he began military training, his control improved and Hayate even grew to be one of the more promising students when he displayed his ability to bend lightning earlier than the rest of his class. Even though many people are scared of him or at least think he can be intimidating, Hayate cares deeply for everyone regardless of nationality, skill, appearance, etc. He sees a person as a human who deserves respect as a basal formality-not something they need to earn from him. Despte his position as a future General to the Fire Nation, he firmly believes that blind devotion and loyalty will only lead to trouble and makes a point to consider any of his orders and their consequences before acting (most of the time). appearance Standing at 5'6", Hayate is not most people's immediate idea of "warrior". Despite his deceptive height, Hyate has a lean but muscular build, lending itself to his agility in combat. He has short, thick, black hair which he cuts every month to prevent it from making him look like an unshorn sheep.

Having grown up on Air Temple Island, Jinpa learned many crucial skills to being an airbender, such as meditation and her own spiritual connection. However, the tranquil life wasn't what she wanted. She carefully considered what she wanted and what she could do, and reached the conclusion to leave her home and head into Republic City. There would be plenty of opportunities for her to explore and experience life in a new way but still be close to her family.

Jinpa loves to connect with people and make them smile however she can. She believes in the power of kindness and honesty, her gentle spirit is something that has gotten her in trouble more than once. Once the young airbending master sets her sights on a goal, it would take quite a lot to change her focus or make her drop the idea. She follows through on her promises and puts others before herself in any way she can. Jinpa is also a highly sensitive person when it comes to emotions-especially those of other people. It might have to do with her spiritual training, but Jinpa can often sense when someone is doing well or not, if they're lying, or she should stay with someone or leave them alone. Additionally, she keeps a situational awareness about her as she goes through her daily life. Jinpa makes sure she is aware of her immediate surroundings, as well as those of anyone she might be travelling or speaking with.
