Growing up with a father who seemed to care more about thrill-seeking and less about his daughter, Ayu grew to be independent at quite a young age. Her dad claimed that attending a normal school was a waste of time for her and that home-schooling was the way to go. Due to her independent nature and strong work ethic, Ayu did quite well in her classes, but was often lonely and wished she could go to school and have friends to hang out with. Her first experience with video games was Mana Manner Online and she fell in love immediately.

In the real world, among people who don't understand her love of fantasy and adventure, Ayu is often uncomfortable and withdrawn. She prefers to keep to herself and let everyone get on with their days while she blends in with the background chaos of day-to-day life. Before entering the game, Ayu rarely opened up about her passion for video games or novels about imaginary worlds and creatures, so her father only knew her 'normal' side. But when she was alone at home, where she could play games and meet other people who shared her interests, Ayu discovered a whole new personality where she cared deeply for those she worked and fought alongside and wasn't afraid to stand up for herself or others in a fiery debate- something she would be too terrified to do in the physical world (perhaps she inherited her father's thrill-seeking gene?). Her new personality continued to grow and while she is still reserved and shy to newcomers, Ayu also isn't afraid to step up to the plate and take action and responsibility when the occasion arises. She is quite friendly and prefers to make friends over enemies, though some people seem to think her cold and sarcastic side is a little intimidating, though it very rarely makes an appearance. Because of her limited (non-existent) experience with online games, Ayu is still new to a lot of concepts and asks seemingly obvious questions because of her lack of knowledge.

history As the youngest princess in the royal family, Claire was fortunate to be raised by her parents and elder siblings. She would always follow Rosabelle around when the girls were younger. Claire loved her older sister and dreamed of being just like her in the future. If she got bored in the castle walls, Claire would slip out on her own outdoor excursion, being careful not to get caught so as to avoid a scolding. One time when she was outside the castle and wandering alone, a pack of hounds surrounded and trapped the young princess. Beyond terrified at the sight of the growling canines and their snapping jaws, her voice failed her and the young girl couldn't cry for help. She was saved by one of the guards who had seen her slip off and had gone off to search for her. To this day, Claire shudders at the memory, thinking about what might have happened to her had the guard not shown up. Now whenever the young princess is close to a dog, even six years after that incident, she gets nervous and stays away from any canine she comes across.

personality Some people describe the youngest princess of the Desrosiers family glum or even melancholy, but in reality she's simply more withdrawn and shy than the other royal children. Being born a graceling was never an easy thing for Anya or her family to bear as she was growing up. Many people avoided her because her village believed that inhuman abilities belonged to the cursed and no one wanted to be infected. Once the royal proclamation to kill all the graced was issued, Anya allowed herself to be captured, not wanting any harm to come to them-it was naive of her to think that way. Her whole village was destroyed because she had lived there. Even across the distance between herself and her old home, Anya could sense the anger, hatred and fear seeping across the land as the royal soldiers slaughtered innocent villagers while she was escorted away. After she was branded as a graceling to be executed, Anya took her first opportunity to escape and slipped past her guards in the night. To this day, she can't forget her guilt and she refuses to let go of her hatred of the King.

Since the terrible day that she lost all she had known, Anya has tried to live on her own to avoid getting others in trouble. But her plans changed when she came across a farm needed her help with the harvest. The family provided a new home and hid her from the guards as needed and Anya began to train her abilities rather than let them ride roughshod over her life.

Knowing peoples inner thoughts and emotions can be quite draining on Anya. Not the exertion of her graced power, but being aware of more than her own feelings sometimes complicates situations beyond her level of preparedness. However, over the years, Anya has learned to control her abilities and adjust to her different way of life. Because she can sense the emotions of others, Anya comes across as more understanding and patient than most. She tries not to use her telepathy unless it's absolutely necessary because she feels as though she's invading peoples' privacy.

Anya stands slightly taller than most women at 5'8". Though her grace isn't combat-oriented, she spent her years training her body for when the time came to exact her revenge. The training paired with the farm work built up muscle on her body and soon her arms and legs were toned with more muscle than those of her second father. She soon learned she was better with weapons than her bare hands and carries several daggers hid on several spots on her body as well as her broadsword that was a gift from the owner of the farm when she turned eighteen.

Anya is a quiet girl who has spent most of her life avoiding as many people as she can because of her mismatched eyes.Her only true motivation to continue to live and get stronger is to protect her new family and get revenge for her old home. She has heard rumors of other graceling having escaped the royal proclamation, but she isn't sure what to make of it

Akamatsu grew up as an only child and, consequently, was spoiled rotten by his parents. He's used to getting his own way and not really having to do anything that he doesn't want to. While his attitude can be annoying, Matsu is willing to work hard to be a shinobi and wants it more than anything, though it sometimes might not always seem like it. He is quite competitive and wants to be the best and first at everything he does, often forgetting that it's more important to work as a steam than an individual.

His family is descended from the fifth hokage, and Matsu likes to brag about it whenever people will listen. Despite his haughty attitude and confident nature, knows very little about the art of being a shinobi and has much to learn before he could even hope to start measuring up to his ancestor. He is a fairly well-balanced individual for strength and chakra etc. His control and precision in everything he does is considerable, though his emotions can get him riled up and distract from the task at hand, leaving him vulnerable to attacks. His favorite method of attack is by starting from a distance by using kunais and various distractions, all the while closing the distance to allow for more serious attacks. He relies on this method so much that anyone who knows him can predict his moves fairly easily- an issue he's encountering more and more as he trains and goes on missions.

Note: I'm thinking that as he grows, he'll kind of develop his own techniques reminiscent of some of Tsunades moves. Also, probably way in the future, he'll decide to be a medical nin after some sort of epiphany thing. I don't know 100% yet

Known for her short temper, the akatsuki member prefers to mislead people, and disguises her plans behind a veil of deception. Her attempts at luring her victims into traps have succeeded in the past, but also failed if the target is perceptive enough. When she isn't fighting, Miyako is quiet and keeps to herself. She doesn't speak up without good reason. She has a logical approach to tactics and tries to ensure there are as few flaws and as many back up plans as possible. Her bright red hair is often thought to be main reason behind her nickname, but the color of her chakra weapons also speaks to her nickname.

Hailing from the Konohakagure village, Miyako trained as a genin and rose through the ranks until she was a member of the Anbu Black Ops. However, she was losing her sense of purpose and soon began to resent the hokage and all the work she had to do. One day, Miyako was sent on a mission with her comrades to assist another village, and she was the only one to survive, though she never returned to her village. Miyako had encountered the Akatsuki who used her negative emotions to their advantage. Now, she fights her old village without any trace of guilt or a desire to help the village where she had grown up.

Her attack method is direct in its own way, but many other shinobi don't see it like that. One of her most dangerous assets is her adaptability. Sometimes, Miyako will have traps planned out before the fight even starts, and sometimes she will improvise with what she has on hand. Instead of kunais and shurikens, Miyakos preferred weapon of choice is a long, steel lance that she's enhanced with chakra to make it stronger and lighter than a normal lance. On top of the enhancements, Miyako can also use her chakra for the samurai saber technique and extend the reach of her lance through her flow of chakra which gives the weapon a glowing red aura. When she deems a fight is worth actually exerting effort, Miyako will set aside her metal lance and use her tool creation technique where she manifests her chakra into scarlet weapons which she can control telekinetically at a short range. While she was considered quite a talented kunoichi while serving her village, Miyako has grown stronger and her chakra is considerable. However, her technique has limits- the more tools she creates drains her chakra faster and she can only hold out for around fifteen minutes before needing to stop and allow her chakra supply to build up again.

Growing up as a princess, Elvira lived the life many dream of, but she felt that she missed so many childlike things because of her status. From a young age, Vera wanted to prove to her parents that she was able to take care of herself so they would stop babying her. So one night, she snuck out of her room and planned on escaping the castle for a night of adventure. She almost got caught by a guard on patrol, but thankfully a boy helped in the kitchen allowed the princess to hide in a pantry for a little while.
As time went on and Vera grew older, she grew to love the kitchen boy. Suddenly, her parents introduced Elvira to a prince from another kingdom as the man she would marry when they both older. No matter how much she resisted,Vera's mother and father pressed the importance of the arranged marriage. The princess awoke one day to discover that Ben, the boy she loved, had died overnight. Vera spent several months grieving her loss and beginning to rely on her future betrothed for support. Her mother's plan almost succeeded, but Vera discovered her parents had planned the murder of Ben to make sure their daughter would marry who they wanted. Infuriated and betrayed, Vera developed a cynical hatred of the concept of love. Nobody knows what love is and it will only end up biting you in the butt.
Now coming close to the wedding, Vera refuses to go through with it. In fact, she avoids her fiancé as much as possible. When they are together, Vera is known to be rude and hostile, doing everything in her power to prove her parents were wrong.
