Born the second child of an upper class family, Alya was never really expected to inherit the family name because of her gender and the fact she had a brother 7 years her senior. Once she turned into a dragon at age thirteen, however, and they discovered Alya's colour, she was suddenly the center of attention and the one expected to do everything. Her family heritage is dotted with ancestors who had white scales, a trait that her family has always held in the highest regard. Because of this, once Alya had been thrust into a role she wasn't prepared for, the white haired girl became colder, more reserved and intense than before. She wasn't prepared for the responsibilities that entailed being the new star of the family and suffered through many miserable years before she felt remotely ready for the role. Resentment towards her family settled in soon after her unexpected promotion, and Alya grew distant from her family, especially her brother because he made no effort to help her.

A result of her upbringing is that Alya is always formal and polite with seniors and instructors, cold towards those she deems to be inferior, and neutral towards her equals. She never challenges anyone nor boasts of her abilities, but Alya carries herself with an air of superiority, mainly because of how she was raised. Taught to follow strict routines and day to day schedules, Alya is excited to attend school where she won't have the same, dreary schedule every day. Having no kids her age around the house, she grew up lonely. Now at a new school with lots of students around her age, Alya is secretly eager about the possibility of making a new friend, though she'll never admit it.

Alya has the ability to reflect light off of her sales among many other light manipulation techniques her unique scale colour gives her. Her draconic ability is the power to translocate (teleport) herself to another location almost instantaneously.

Being the firstborn to the Stadoran royal family, Arina grew up in the royal palace located in the centre of their kingdom. The daughter of Batwoman, Katherine spent her life of growing up with a superhero as her role model. It wasn't long after she learned how to walk that K-C was imitating her mother, kicking imaginary enemies and tackling towers of cushions to prepare for the day she would join the social circle of global heroes. Her daring attitude paired with her reckless and impulsive nature has proven to be a point of great concern for her mother, but now that K-C's nearly twenty years old, there isn't much she can do to stop her daughter. Impulsive behavior being the reason behind more than one of her many troublesome situations, Katie has normally maneuvered her way out with some charm and determination to ensure her mother wouldn't find out, which she normally did; much to K-C chagrin. More than slightly competitive, the redhead can be seen working harder than before after encountering another 'bat' or losing a fight. Without her competitive drive, K-C would never have been able to achieve her ambitious dreams of making herself into a hero like her mother.

Dressing normally when she's just being a normal person, Katherine likes to wear more flexible shorts and tank tops to keep herself more mobile and cooler during the hot days. She prefers to keep her hair down and loose around her shoulders, though when it comes to any intense work around the house or cooking, she'll tie it back to keep her face clear. Having grown up in a town similar to Brooke for the first six years of her life, Hannah feels right at home in the Irish village, though it can be bittersweet at times. The female hunter was born in a town far from Ireland that only had an enormous forest as their neighbor. Just after her fifth birthday, rumors of giant wolves being spotted in the woods found their way into the core of her village, striking fear in some and rage in others. The furious towns people organized a group to investigate for the safety of their fellow citizens. Something happened in the woods between the scouting troupe and the werewolves- something that instigated a year-long fight before the forest-dwellers made their final move, ransacking the village and eliminating the threat they had become. Hannah's sixth year was more than derailing and traumatic. She was the only one to survive the attack-by pure chance and nothing less. The young girl had been out swimming in a nearby lake and she returned to a village of corpses.

The nearest town was quite a long walk, but Hannah eventually arrived, dehydrated and exhausted. A local man named Hugh took her in and saved her life. He was the only one who believed her story about the wolves, explaining that it was probably werewolves that had destroyed her home. As it happened, Hugh was a hunter when he was younger ad knew of the supernatural creatures that prowled the Earth. His knowledge wasn't Hannah's only key to understanding what happened. Hugh's experience as a hunter helped Hannah prepare for her own life as a hunter. At the age of eighteen, Hannah set off on her own with twelve years of training under her belt, paired with twelve years of rage and a need for vengeance. Her first mission was nothing less than retribution and settling a long overdue vendetta. None of the werewolves survived her attack and Hannah took off to a completely new part of the world, visiting several continents and many countries. Her lonesome wandering came to an end when she came across a stray puppy on the outskirts of a city. Abandoned and dying, the pup reminded Hannah of her own retched past. Adopting the black and tan dog, she named him Copper after the light brown that contrasted with his black fur. Hannah and Copper travelled together for another three years, bonding and growing together on jobs tracking down and killing several creatures at the behest of whoever they had signed with at the time.

Not being the social type, Hannah prefers to keep to herself, Copper being her only close companion in several years. Her intelligent and professional nature are often misunderstood as her being cold and uncaring. In reality, she cares deeply for everyone she knows, and even those she doesn't. Nobody deserves to suffer because of monsters preying on those weaker than them and Hannah strives to help anyone who needs it, rich or poor.

Born and raised in Montréal, Canada, Lisette grew
up speaking both French and English. She first
discovered dance at the age of five when her
parents took her to a Nutcracker performance
from a professional touring company. It wasn't
long after that evening that the young girl was
enrolled in her first ballet class. Things took off
from there and by the time she was in third grade,
Elizabeth was a promising dancer with her local
studio. Her teachers managed to convince her
parents to enroll her at a dance academy for junior
high. That school was where Elizabeth knew she
wanted to become a professional dancer, though
she couldn't say that she only wanted to do ballet.
While she loved dancing at school, Elizabeth felt
the need to keep busy after school hours as well
and picked up running. It didn't take long before
her competitive nature drove her to join a track
team and begin competing in events. Gaining
exposure to more genres of dance and other
activities over the next few years made her
decision even more difficult and Lisette worried
that she wasn't focused enough for a professional
career on stage. In her first year of high school,
she was offered an opportunity to compete at
the YAGP competition hosted in the U.S. Placing
in the top ten and even receiving a full scholarship
to a summer intensive for the whole summer in
New York, Lisette began looking at post-secondary
schools that could offer many different types of
dance to expand her horizons. She came across
Starlight Academy and applied before she consulted
her parents. She only broached the subject when
she received the letter of acceptance. What made
her set her sights on the prestigious academy was
the broad range of styles they offered for dance as
well as the sports team that could keep her in shape
when she isn't dancing.

An extroverted personality since she was a child, Elizabeth
has always enjoyed spending her time off out on the town
with her friends, but she does need a break to be alone
every now and again. Growing up as a dancer and being
responsible for remembering choreography and costume
pieces since she was young, Lisette is quite a dependable
person. Her desire to improve and learn everything she
can makes her come across as quite intense sometimes,
but once people spend some time with her, they
understand her optimistic and friendly personality
outside of dance class and track. More than a little
impulsive throughout her life, her decision to apply for
Starlight without her parents knowledge came as more
than a little surprise to them, but they were used to her
sudden decisions. Raised in an environment where
achievement was always recognized and praised, Elizabeth
has a competitive side that she has grown to control. She
uses it to increase her performance, but she makes sure
that her emotions remain in check to keep dancing a fun
and positive part of her life.

Hailing from the Kanto region, Tsukiko grew up in a family discouraged and laughed at her dream of becoming a trainer. She was born in Fuchsia city and grew up in the town until she was old enough to leave her home and go on her own journey. Unlike many of the famous trainers, Tsukiko didn't want to become champion or defeat the elite four at all. Instead, she simply wanted enjoy her freedom of being away from her doubting family with her pokemon. As she travelled through the different towns and met many people and trainers, Tsukiko became stronger and soon enough, she had somewhat inadvertently earned seven of the eight gym badges. Her last one was back at her home town in Fuchsia City. While returning home was the last thing should have wanted when she first started, She finally felt ready to show her family how wrong they were. When Tsukiko returned home, she discovered her family had moved away, making her lose her determination to win the eighth gym badge. The only reason she went through with her plan was because she had come so far and didn't want it to be for nothing. Only a month she won against the leader and earned her very own Soul Badge, Tsukiko received a letter asking her to become the new leader of Fuchsia City gym because the previous leader was retiring.

As the leader of the Fuchsia City pokemon gym and the one in charge of the Soul Badge, she uses strategy and experience to push other trainers to get stronger and improve. When she heard of Team Moonshine and their goal, there was no reason for Tsukiko to stand against them. In fact, she saw it as an opportunity to use her power as a trainer and gym leader to help Team Moonshine improve the Kanto region and make it into something so much better than it had ever been.

The reason behind her eye patch is a mystery to most as the Fuchsia leader doesn't like to discuss it. However, the previous leader of her gym is privy to that a knowledge. Rumor has it that Tsukiko got into a fight with a Beedrill that used Pin Missile and her eye was caught with one. Yet another story says that it wasn't injured, just blind and she covers it up because it looks weird.

Hailing from a world full of magic, Tanith is a gifted individual who has the ability to shift her centre of gravity to be able to run up walls and stand on ceilings as well as pick locks with the touch of her hand. Her parents decided that it would be best if she trained as an assassin at a young age. That way, her combat skills and magical abilities could be maximized and used to their full potential. After she finished her training, Tanith moved on to become a mercenary before a series of coincidences landed her in a situation where she had to help Valkyrie and Skulduggery Pleasant. After that first case, Tanith became a part of the detective's group and got to know Valkyrie very well over the years. The two almost became as close as sisters before events in Tanith's future would separate them for quite some time.

Not the most intuitive or deductive of individuals, Tanith mostly spent her time with Valkyrie and Skulduggery playing the role of fighter or bodyguard which was never a problem for the sword wielding assassin. More than a little competitive and sometimes too passionate for her own good, Tanith has gotten into all sorts of trouble that can lead to some entertaining stories to be recounted in her english accent at a party or with friends.

All three of her names have different meanings in separate languages. Senka is Serbian for shadow while Fidda means silver in Arabic and Oriole is an English word referring to colourful birds. Somewhat ironic, but strangely fitting. Her white hair and silvery-grey eyes contrast her obsidian shadows like the her first two names. Her oddly bi-chromatic appearance is contradictory to her last name and the irony is not lost on her.

Her parents were always traveling around the world even before she was born. As she grew older, her parents' trips lost their appeal and Senka soon came to despise her parents almost as much as them leaving her because she would always be left behind with her grandmother due to her young age proving an issue while flying or whatever they did without her. Eventually, Senka would be left on her own for months at a time, fending for herself and doing more than any young girl her age should, let alone being proficient and familiar with how to survive on her own.

Her powers manifested themselves when she was around eight years old. This wasn't a surprise to Senka as her grandma had told her stories of their heritage and even instructed her on several simple ways to keep herself under control. Now a student at Nova Corp High, the white-haired girl works tirelessly to improve and get stronger while learning more about what she's capable of. While she's the spitting image of Essence, her ancestor, Senka inherited very little in the way of powers. Not being made of shadows, Senka's intangibility is only possible when she draws on all her concentration and resources. Maintaining that state is extremely exhausting and she isn't able to use it for more than five minutes before becoming completely exhausted. Shadow manipulation is much easier and she practices as much as possible in order to refine her technique and accuracy. She can amass a wave of shadows that obscure vision, but Senka can also create weapon-like tendrils of shadows that can grab, whip and cut her opponents.
