He has a rather dark past, causing him to become closed off to others and to release his pain in the only way he knows how, by getting his way. Pyrrhus, despite his size and stature, is just a gentle giant. He doesn't push anyone around just because he can, he respects the whole herd and is friends with most of them. He is rather friendly once you get over the initial fear, and can become a good, reliable friend. He loves to help out others and takes care of the herd and foals when he has the chance. Though when it comes down to mares and such, if he has his eyes set on one, he will fight for the win, no matter how strong the challenger may be. He wasn't raised to just lay down and give up, he will always keep pushing, always keep fighting for what is right, or moreover what he thinks is right.

Rich, ebony locks fell across the stallion's forehead, a strand or two covering his dark chocolate orbs. Soft puffs of air left his velvet grey nostrils, his muscles tense beneath his darkened brown coat. Valik was known to be distant, one who would prefer to be alone verses with his herd members. Now, of course that didn't mean he disliked them, no, he was a very protective leader, the male was just better off observing from afar. Swishing his thick tail against his haunches, the stallion eased forward a few paces, resuming his position as guard as he patrolled the herd's borders.

Clouds of grey speckled the stallion's once rich ebony coat, leaving his appearance a mixture between thick smoke and burned ashes. His eyes, dark like the night, trailed over the numerous mares of his herd, letting his gaze linger on but a few. Pyrrhus was not known to have favorites, though of course every leader did, it was only natural to admire one more than the rest. Of course he wouldn't admit to it, probably never would. Tossing the blonde stands across his neck, Pyrrhus lowered his head to nibble at the stalks below, keeping watch on the six females around him.

Glimpses of ebony could be seen throughout the forest, though moving too fast to really get a good understanding of the sable creature. The stallion's chest heaved upwards with each breath, toned muscles moving in unison to push the male onward. Long legs swallowed up the ground beneath him, leaving bits and chunks to break free from their place in the soil. Haunt was tired, though not physically, no he was fed up with waiting, desiring mares that he could never have. All these herds, the four foolhardy stallions, who did they think they were? He was done fooling around, trailing the borders, desperately trying to seduce a mare to join him. This was it, this spring he'd accomplish his goal.

Golden fur shone brightly against the hues of green and blue, causing the female to stand out against the monotone landscape. Snow white strands cascaded down along the female's dappled neck, stretching down to her withers and ending at the shoulders. Elani's mane was unusually long, despite the rather short tail she possessed, though it was beautiful nonetheless. Letting a soft puff of air escape her velvet nostrils, the young mare's pools of amber flickered across the vast space of land, letting her gaze rest upon the ashen colored stallion. He was a good leader, no doubt, and she couldn't help but be drawn to the large thoroughbred. He was their protector, their guardian- she hoped she'd never let him down.

Velvet lips tinged pink stretched down to grasp the green stalks below her hooves, ripping at the rich vegetation before grinding them down with her blunt teeth. Athena was a mare of few words, she preferred to spend her time thinking about more important things, such as how the herd would get its next meal or how they would be keeping safe, versus conversing with the other members. Most knew her as the boring one, someone who never let loose and just had a bit of fun. No, that's not how she was raised, and she wasn't about to change, not now nor ever.

Rich copper fur glistened against the morning rays of light, the sun dancing across her figure as she eased forward a few paces, eyes reaching up to meet the familiar faces of Sumia and Cordelia. A soft nicker flew from her velvety grey muzzle, greeting her fellow herd mates, as she always did upon seeing them. Safine's personality was quite interesting, there never seemed to be an end to the countless moods and attitudes. For the most part she was kind, though if you were an outsider, she wouldn't be the best company. Slowing once under the shade of the large tree, the arabian lowered her head to pluck at the stalks below her, occasionally flicking her lightly scented tail along her haunches.

Pools of mocha were filled with an uninviting gaze- you could feel the ice from miles away. The ebony colored mare wasn't one to make friends, or even try to be friendly with the other herd members. It was simple, Rhapsody didn't like anyone, and no one liked her. It was how she always lived, and she'd never tried to be different in any way. She didn't need friends, they were just a nuisance and a bother, it was much better living on your own. The only reason she was in a herd was because of the protection it provided- anything to help further her along.

Flecks of white looked to be splattered across the female's fiery coat, the bright hue of orange standing out against the green landscape behind her. Asia's young eyes were filled with joy, energy- she was always ready to go, always ready for some adventure. Though exciting things didn't happen that often, the small mare wouldn't give up her hope, something had to take place, right? Tossing her snow white mane across her neck, Asia extended her legs into a trot, arching her tail up over her back, as her arabian blood told her to do. A soft whinny escaped her velvet pink lips, greeting the members of the summer herd, as she did every morning.
