dani is a very kind mare, she has a good spirit is is not ill-mannered
towards anyone. she cares for everyone, and sees younger equines like her own offspring. she definitely isn't the youngest horse around, but she doesn't let her age get to her. she still wants to have more foals, though she can probably only have them for two more years. the only time she gets a bit angry is when younger mares try to push her around. she has never been pushed around in her life, and she won't let that happen now. the younger ones sometimes think that they can overpower her because she is old, but let me tell you, dani still has the strength of a five year old. she might not be able to run for a long period, but she can fight for a while. she is very motherly and will take almost anyone under her wing, you know, unless it is a big-headed filly. she is definitely the mother of her herd, but she treats everyone fairly and with a smile.

xxxxxxthe wind whipped through the trees, rustling the leaves as it blew by. tall vegetation peaked up from the moist soil as spring came back around, winter was over. a velvet muzzle was pressed to the grass, rubbery lips grasping the stalks and ripping them up with her blunt, yellow-stained teeth. a matted white tail swished over spotted haunches, a mare letting her strong scent mix in with the air. a stallion had to smell it by now, it was only a matter of minutes before dani wouldn't be alone anymore. she wanted to be in a herd, produce more offspring before her time came. a loud snort escaping her wet nostrils, the chestnut leopard appaloosa mare lifted her head from the rich stalks, a loud whinny spilling from her lips. she wanted a stallion's attention as soon as possible, hopefully one could fulfill her needs. dani had been alone for a bit now, her older band stallion had been killed by a snow storm, and his mares had scattered. sadly dani hadn't fallen pregnant that year, so here she was again, fully in season with no stallion around.

tori is a very dominant mare, she hates not being in charge. when she
isn't looking for power, she is a sarcastic mare with an additude. she likes her space, but she is also a flirt with the stallions when she wants to be. she can be mean towards other mares, but if they leave her alone she might welcome them into her space. younger stallions and mares usually annoy her, she likes the older, more mature ones to accompany her. if you get to crack tori's shell, she can be humorous and friendly, but only if she likes you. if she doesn't like you she will show it, no buts about it.

xxxxxxsharp grey hooves dug into the moist soil with every step, the mustang thoroughbred mix hauling herself up the hill. she wanted nothing to do with any other equines, they weren't worth her precious time. she was in no mood for a stallion as she had just started her cycle and other mares would just piss her off. snorting loudly, the dunskin colored mare pinned her oval shaped ears against her chiseled skull, huffing as she pushed herself to the top of the hill. finally, now she could be alone, and gain some much needed weight. tori hungrily shoved her muzzle towards the tall green stalks, ravenously ripping up the grass with her blunt teeth, then grinding down the vegetation. she could get used to this, the whole solitary thing. she had managed to get away from all previous stallions last year and had forced herself to stay with a band of mares in the winter for warmth. as soon as the snow started to melt, tori was out of there. she needed her space and they were always pressing up against her body, craving her warmth. now she was free to be alone until winter again, that is unless a stallion was crazy enough to try and tame her wild soul.

octavia is a sweet and kind mare, she is always gentle towards others.
she accepts everyone into her presence, mostly because she doesn't have the heart to tell them to go, even if she wants them to. she always keeps her opinion to herself and just goes with the flow. most would say she is a pushover, but octavia likes to think differently. she chooses to let others take advantage of her, which would actually be more of a stupid move, but she doesn't mind. if they think they are so much better than her for taking advantage of her, then she sees that as their problem. it doesn't matter how rude or unpleasant you are, she will still be as sweet as can be. though things can get under her skin, she keeps her mouth shut and just smiles along.

xxxxxxlong strands of blonde and white hair wrapped around the mare's sleek back end, her thick scent permeating the air around her. the dappled grey mare was standing underneath the shade of a large willow tree, the branches casting large shadows over her dappled body. a light nicker escaped her rubbery grey lips, calling out for any equine to hear, mare or stallion. she just wanted company at the moment, but a stallion wouldn't be that bad either. she was deeper into her cycle and she would be pretty accepting to anyone near her presence. with a soft snort, octavia drew her long legs forward, pushing herself into a slight trot, a very slow one at that. octavia slapped her thin tail against her dappled haunches, this time a louder nicker spilling from her grey colored maw. she ad only been alone for a couple of weeks, but that alone was making her uncomfortable. she liked having others by her side, it made her feel secure.

misery isn't as miserable as his name sounds, although he isn't a happy stallion most of the time. he is quiet, he only speaks when it is needed or if meeting someone new. he is very calm even in the worst situations, he will always reassure the herd and get them thinking clearly again. but he hasn't been happy lately, nor has he been depressed either. he doesn't show his emotions to anyone, and i mean anyone. he locks them up with a chain and he swallowed the key, no one is allowed into his mind. ever. he feels it would be a weakness to show his emotions, so it's better to be emotionless. the only moment he will show a tinge of happiness is when he sees his foals, his own blood. it makes his heart swell with pride and he might smile, but only momentarily. then he will go back to being his emotionless self. while in battle with other stallions, he is merciless. he will fight until he can't stand, no matter the odds. he is stubborn, at the very least. he takes orders from no one, he is his own master.

xxxxxxthe grass blew back and forth, some trying to wrap around the stallion's strong legs. a snort left his velvety grey nostrils, he was bored and unhappy. he had no mares to herd, to produce his offspring, he was alone. as much as he liked his solitary time, he was a stallion and wanted precious mares by his side. his dark mocha eyes moved back and forth, constantly scanning the horizon for mares. his nostrils flared and twitched as a strong heat scent wafted into his wet nostrils. perfect timing. with a toss of his thick black mane, the dappled grey warmblood mix took off at a fast paced trot, one single nicker escaping his rubbery grey lips. he only called to the mare so she would know that he had scented her, other than that, he would say nothing more. that is unless she asked for a name, in which he would give it to her. misery was a stallion of few words, he only spoke when necessary. his thick muscles rippled underneath his scarred coat, his ribs slightly peaking out over his dappled pelt. the stallion was slightly underweight from the harsh winter, hopefully he would be able to gain some weight and return to his former glory. upon crossing a small stream, two beautiful mares caught his dark eyes. one of them was young, her coat was sorrel in color, along with one simple blaze down the center of her forehead. the other was older, but beautiful none the less. her coat a beautiful red with white dots flecked across her pelt along with large painted markings along her entire body. both mares were stunning, and they would become his in a matter of minutes. dancing along towards the duo, misery slowed to a walk, not wanting to startle the younger of the two. upon reaching the older mare, the dapple grey stallion extended his scarred muzzle out to hers, taking in her scent through flared nostrils.
