Laurel is incredibly clumsy, and she's
a bit of a crybaby as well, easily sway

of Olivine City's equally sunny and se
nsitive gym leader, Jasmine, people
often expect a lot from the girl, in t
erms of her own skill as a trainer. Ho
wever, even though she's quite a talen
ted kid, Laurel has never shown much
interest in battling competitively. Sh

Laurel's a pretty sweet kid! She's someone who genuinely loves and cares
for her friends and likes to be around them a lot. All the time. Always. S
he's super loyal and really just wants people to like her, so in her attem
pts to make that happen she may get a bit irritating. Friendship with La
urel becomes a bit of a commitment — there's a lot of Laurel-y things sh
e does that need to be tolerated eventually.

protective of her and watches her closely.
