the daughter of a rancher, dawn grew up around animals. her father, who ra
ised her alone after her mother left, did his best for her and dawn can't say
anything other than she had a fairly predictable childhood. she was three ye
ars into a biology major, and on a summer internship in mexico when the wo
rld ended. she hasn't had any contact with her father or anyone from home.
after finding the camp in the desert, she did what she could to keep it safe,
her time spent on her father's ranch meant she was a decent shot, so she to
ok a spot as a guard. decisive and clever, dawn's ability to make a snap deci
sion and make it well has saved her life more than once. having spent three
and a half years out in the world before finding the camp, there is little tha
t perturbs her anymore about this life, making her look fearless when she's
really detached and a little bit numb. she relies on memories to keep her fr
om going off the deep end now, savoring those that include her father and
working towards her passions at school. she's sort of taken over ownership o
f the dark bay mare darcy, who reminds dawn of her old riding horse. her sk
ills in weaponry are best kept to long range, as she's deadly with a rifle.

thick layer of positivity does little to conceal how scared he really is in the
event that he's actually wrong about how things are going to turn out. and
while he pesters others often to know their secrets, he'll take his to his gra
ve, only sharing with those closest to him. he cares deeply about people, w
illing to sacrifice his own safety if he can offer them a little protection or t
o be able to help them out in some way. within the walls, he is as calm as a
quiet lake, but outside, he grows restless and anxious.

may go. though she may not always show it, she cares deeply for those in the gang, willi
ng to sacrifice life and limb to keep them alive. determination itself sets up shop in her
heart, unwilling to back down from any challenge given, recklessly charging headfirst in
to often dangerous situations. her patience for people and explosives does nothing to co
ol her temper, so when she snaps, it's rather spectacular and often very intense.
