//Ever since she was fifteen Akira has strived to become an inspector with the MWPSB and not because it would lead to a cushy job at the Public Safety Bureau, everything she has ever done was for family. At the age of eleven her younger sister Diana's crime coefficient skyrocketed resulting in her sister becoming a latent criminal and shipped off to a rehabilitation centre. Watching her sister being taken away was the worst moment of her very young life and it's not a day she will ever forget, that day and the weeks that followed her psycho pass clouded with her fathers medication was the only thing standing between her and a rehab cell for herself. For fear of her psycho pass clouding Akira's parents forbid her from seeing Diana, taking down all her pictures and even stopped talking about her altogether as if they'd never had a second daughter. Playing along for the sake of her parents Akira stopped trying to visit Diana and instead vowed to become an inspector knowing that it was the only way she would ever see her sister again. This determination kept Akira's psycho pass clear all through her schooling and training and was one of the reasons she was a perfect candidate for the MWPSB. Designated as Paladin 2 Akira was placed in division one where either by fate or some kind of miracle her sister was working as an enforcer. Unlike most inspectors Akira can't help but see enforcers as people and if she can will try to help lower a person's crime coefficient though many others ridicule her for it. Though loyal to the system Akira has always had mixed feelings towards the Sibyl system ever since her sister was labeled a latent criminal and taken from her.With nine years on the force Akira has been promoted to Paladin 1 and though she'll be eligible for her PSB desk job it's not something she's planning on taking.

[size=85]Crime Coefficient-[/size] [size=80]the numerical measure of the probability of a person committing a crime. The number is created by assessing a person's hue, and other biological readings and it's used to determine if a target is a latent criminal. A number under one hundred means that a suspect is not a target for enforcement, a number between one hundred and two hundred ninety-nine can be classified as a latent criminal, if a crime coefficient goes over three hundred a suspect poses a serious threat to society and unless they've become an enforcer an inspector must eliminate them on sight.[/size]


[size=85]Inspector-[/size] [size=80]an individual of society who has voluntarily joined the Ministry of Welfare's Public Safety Bureau's branch known as CID or Criminal Investigation Department to manage crime and ensure the safety of everyday ordinary citizens. Only those with stable personalities, low crime coefficients, intelligence, and an excellent academic record are chosen to be apart of this elite force. Inspectors manage Enforcers and oversee them on the job an Inspector at any given time can punish an Enforcer or even eliminate them with a dominator (depending on their crime coefficient) whenever they deem it necessary. When out in the field an Inspector must where a MWPSB issued blue jacket with their division number and the letters WPC on each arm as well as the MWPSB logo on the back and left side of the chest.[/size]

[size=85]Enforcer-[/size] [size=80]an individual who has been classified as a latent criminal and has been brought back into society for the sole reason of tracking down other latent criminals. As they already have high crime coefficients Inspectors use Enforcers as shields to prevent their own psycho-passes from being clouded they are often the first ones on the scene and the ones responsible for tracking a latent criminal. Without an Inspector with them an Enforcer cannot do anything and if they act without authorization can face serious or even deadly consequences. Thought of as hunting dogs and nothing more Enforcers aren't well treated by many Inspectors and are typically feared by the rest of society.[/size]

[size=85]Dominator-[/size] [size=80]the weapon used by both Inspectors and Enforcers of the MWPSB a dominator can only be used by someone who is authorized by Sibyl and the MWPSB to use one. Using biometrics a dominator will immediately shut down if it cannot recognize the user. In the hands on an Inspector or Enforcer a dominator will activate and constantly analyze the crime coefficient of the person it's been pointed at from there Sibyl will process the information and give one of three orders: safety to remain locked (under 100), non-lethal paralyzer (100-299), or lethal eliminator (over 300). Another function is known as destroy decomposer which will deal with armoured targets such as drones or obstacles in the way such as walls or doors. [/size]

[size=85]Collars-[/size] [size=80]created on Shambala Float collars can independently monitor an individuals crime coefficient and if necessary can either tranquillize or eliminate that individual if their crime coefficient goes too high. Worn by every latent criminal on Shambala Float the collar makes the latent criminals second class citizens and makes it very easy to control them. Once put on a collar cannot be removed by anyone except a high official with the government [/size]



[size=85]Sibyl-[/size] [size=80]the name of the system that analyzes the criminal tendencies of people residing in both Japan and Shambala Float. Using scanners and sensors the Sibyl system processes biological data from the people living in it's society and constantly records and compiles their data determining their hue and crime coefficient constantly. Unfortunately there are a few members of society that the system cannot assign a crime coefficient or a hue to, these outliers of society are classified as 'criminally asymptomatic' which means that no matter what you do the system cannot read you. The core of the Sibyl system is somewhere in central Japan and very few know it's specific location however there are whispers of a second core or bypass system being built on Shambala Float.[/size]

[size=85]Shambala Float-[/size] [size=80]a walled city built off the coast of what was once known as Cambodia, Shambala Float is a floating fortress that the recently crowned government of SEAUn has built in accordance with their agreement with Japan. Abandoned as a baby Nasrin was found and taken in by a passing mercenary band and raised as one of their own. Named after the wild rose bush she'd been found under, Nasrin has always wondered what had possessed her parents to abandon her. A very unusual upbringing, as soon as she could walk Nasrin was taught how to hold a blade and by the time she could speak the small girl was deadly with a knife. Unconventional to be sure Nasrin's childhood was spent surrounded by people who cared for her and who would not only protect her but teach her how to protect herself. Traveling across the country with the band, Nasrin learned all that she knew on the road from language, mathematics, and even writing. By eleven Nasrin was a fully fledged member of the band and even participated in several of their raids and missions. As a group of sell swords her family was both an ally and enemy of the crown depending on who was lining their pockets. One of the most feared bands of mercenaries the king eventually came to feel threatened by their mere presence in his kingdom and so decided to have them eliminated. Hired by the crown to take out another group of mercenaries, Nasrin's group was on the road traveling towards the village where the mercenaries were supposed to be when they were ambushed by a group of knights. Managing to get away in the chaos Nasrin watched as her entire family was cut down and left to rot. Joining the royal army with the singular goal of becoming a royal knight who could get close enough to kill the man who had taken everything from her Nasrin was both overjoyed and disappointed when the prince took that duty upon himself.

The daughter of a lord and a lowly servant Aislings' mother was cast out of her place of employ once her situation became apparent. Tarnished by Aislings' birth her mother (Saira) struggled to find work in a decent household and eventually fell to begging on the streets. From the time she could walk Aisling was told that their predicament was her fault, that she owed her mother for the life she took from her. Taking any job she could Aisling supported her mother in a way that no child should have to. Any income that she earned was immediately taken by her mother who would often times waste it all on gambling and drinking down at the pub leaving next to nothing for food or shelter. Learning quickly that she could depend only on herself Aisling eventually fled her mothers greedy grasp and found her way into a position at the castle as handmaiden to the queen.
