personality:

xiomara is a loud, clumsy girl who speaks her mind with little filter. she’s got a funny bone, often cracking wise or sarcastic remarks even in the most serious occasions. sarcasm is her escape, a coping mechanism she relies a little too much on to ignore the seriousness that plagues her life. xia is quite the dare devil, which doesn't bode well with her clumsiness, but nevertheless doesn't stop her from jumping off of high places or climbing onto buildings she probably shouldn't be on. she’s sensitive about her disease, and hates anyone bringing it up to her. when it is brought up, she resorts to sarcasm, and when that doesn't work, has resorted to verbally insulting friends and family who have pressed her to talk about it.

the disease:

xiomara hates speaking about the disease, for it forces her to remember the person she loves. she fell in love with her best friend's older brother, the three close knit. he saw her as nothing more than a little sister. one night, when returning from a late night beach trip with her best friend and the brother, they got into a car wreck. unfortunately, her crush and best friend's older brother died as a result of the wreck. it's been a little over half a year since the incident, and xiomara cannot find herself to move on.

a quick rundown
meet mizra, a kind soul with a large heart. he's the type of guy
to try and make friends with just about anyone. he's the kind of
guy to drive 7 hours to pick you up from some random place and
expect nothing in return. he's pretty emotional at times, quick
to jump headfirst into a situation with only emotions on his side.
he's a huge pushover, often taking the fall for other's misdeeds.
being a pushover, as well as prideful, mizra would be down to do
just about any dare if pushed hard enough. he's a daredevil, so
jumping off a bridges or trespassing isn't beyond him. known to
be jittery and constantly having to move, the other has been call
a spaz in the past. one of his biggest issues stems from his need
to set things on fire. he enjoys the thrill of watching something
burn, as well as the thrill of running from someone who may try
to catch him. his sexuality is a sensitive subject for him, as he
fears if he comes out, his family and friends would view him
as a different person.

a quick rundown
what can be said about kam, other than it's a shock he's made
it this far. the amount of trouble this guy can cause it quite
astonishing, which begs the question how he managed to nab
the position of first sergeant. besides being a compulsive liar,
kam has the knack to act proper around those who matter,
mainly higher ups. he's often used as an example for other cadets,
despite being the person to push the buttons of others to join
him in the misdeeds he does. when it is time to be serious though,
kam can sober up and get his job done. he is a hard worker, he
just likes to take the easy way 75% of the time. why go above and
beyond when there's a much simpler way to fix the problem? kam
does give amazing advice, when he isn't insisting someone steal
bread with him from the mess hall. he's rather flirtatious, not
afraid to hide his sexuality from anyone. however, when it comes
to actual relationships, he finds it hard to trust others. as such,
he often screws up relationships one way or another, only adding
to his fear of actually falling in love with someone. deep down,
his insecurities nag at him, telling him he isn't truly worthy of
another person's love.

a natural-born leader, leonidas is a

a noble, loyal general, leonidas

his past
born in 453BC, leonidas was the eldest of
a noble family in macedonia, an ancient
kingdom on the northeastern part of the
greek peninsula. from a young age, it was
expected of leonidas to go into the army,
just as his father had. for most of his teen
years he trained hard, working his way
through the ranks of the macedon army.
for a brief time at 17, leonidas was court-
ing another noble girl, though he ruined
the relationship by sleeping with one of
his subordinates. luckily, his father was
able to push it under the rug. in 431BC,
the peloponnesian war begun between
his kingdom of macedon alongside sparta
against the kingdom of athens. while
out scouting one day, leonidas stumbled
across a strange pod. fearing it was an
enemy attack waiting to happen, he
rushed into the pod without back up.

• genesis

the world is dying. decades of neglect, climate change, and overall human impact has caused the world to start dying. nations began warring over land and what little resources there were left. the sun went dim as a dust cloud dusted the sky, never to show blue again. the year is 2133. scientists have uncovered time travel, allowing for humans to escape their dying planet, and go back to a time before there was nothing but decay - the jurassic period. muse a was one of the first to go back to help discover and build the colony that is now known as genesis. every human who is sent back to this point in time is given a select role in their new home. the colony is run as smoothly as possible, and any issues are easily dealt with. muse b was not meant to go back to genesis, having hopped the back of a group going through the portal and is now considered a potential threat to the sanctum of genesis. what are they doing here? and how will they know if this intruder is truly one of their own?
