spoke. The doctors diagnosed him as a selective mute, something that his parents stressed over.
Akihito didn't see what the big deal was. Talking isn't something important to his lifestyle. Even
now he doesn't speak much, even with friends; when he does, Akihito usually has something
important to say. Some view this as unfriendly but Akihito doesn't let that bother him. He is
kind to those he cares for and ignores those he does not. Most of his communication is through

Akinori bears resemblance to that of an unpolished gem. He's got
a rough exterior, both in mind and body, and has a "tough love"
attitude. The death of his lover left deep emotional scars within
him, something that drove him to create Nova! Akinori is
a solemn creature with the unfortunate chains of a drinking
problem, something he doesn't really make an effort to hide.
Akinori isn't that expressive to boot and doesn't convey his
emotions well; he can be blunt but he truly doesn't mean
any harm. He's essentially the father figure type. Despite
his wise words, Akinori has a reckless, headstrong attitude
and isn't afraid to voice his opinion. The man has intense
focus and tends to bear grudges rather than let them go.

Taisuke was raised by strict parents. Almost everything he did was met with a firm no and many of his freedoms were often taken away. Going outside was prohibited and the guards were often told to monitor his every move. Taisuke grew bitter at heart, upset that his parents continued to steal away his freedoms. Things only got worse for the prince when his mother died. His father's grip on him only grew tighter. Taisuke learned from watching the guards around him, figuring out their shift schedules. He learned to mask his emotions and what expressions to offer, how to lie and slip away from them when needed, and even managed to acquire a map of the castle.

Taisuke has a smile that can light up a room but don't let that fool you. While he may be happy and charismatic on the outside, Taisuke is dark on the inside. His heart is bitter and cold. Growing up without love from his parents has hardened him. He knows when to give a smile and when not and can easily deflect most questions. Taisuke is a liar and is pretty good at it too. The prince has vowed to one day take over the throne and refuses to turn into a man like his father.

Ryoma is a brave soul with a big heart. He cares deeply for his father and
is highly protective of him as he lost his mother to war when he was
incredibly young. Their family have always been the kinder ones in their
line of rule, something that Ryoma has vowed to carry out as well. He
doesn't support war or the unnecessary punishment of anyone, something
he has been tryingto remove from the minds of their guards. Ryoma has
a gentle smile and a wonderful laugh, able to lighten up a room within
seconds. There is an air of friendliness around him and he is easy to hold
a conversation with.

Just because he is the emperor's son doesn't mean he lives a life of riches
and complacency, however. Ryoma has been trained to fight from the
moment he could walk. He is skilled with a sword and has the capacity
to hold his own in a fight. Most of their foreign dealings are handled by
Ryoma these days as his father is too weak to leave the palace.

Learning that his father was sick triggered something within him. Ryoma
became a bit more subdued, refusing to wander outside of the palace if
he could help it. As of now, he is often visiting his father or brooding
within his room.

usually one to back down from a challenge. he
isn't one much for losing, something that often
causes trouble, and dislikes getting scolded. that

Born within the clan, Owlfeather has a deep sense of loy
alty. He's on the quieter side compared to his sister but
still has a big heart. The tom enjoys training, hunting,
and climbing trees. There was a time when he was youn
ger where his parents thought him to be mute, thus the
name Owl-- was given. Owlfeather prefers to keep his
words for the most important moments, making his speech
a rarity; Willowheart is quite happy when she can get him
to speak with her.

Owlfeather is acutely aware of the slight resentment his
half-brother, Arcticpaw, possesses but does nothing to
attempt to rectify it. He has trouble understanding cer
tain emotions and thus cannot grasp just why the appren
tice is so isolated.







A stark contrast to her brother, Willowheart is outgoing
and extremely talkative. Don't mistake her friendly per
sonality for airheadedness; she is just as smart as her
brother and takes pride in her climbing abilities. She
has a kind heart and is suited perfectly to being a mo
ther. That being said, Willowheart does feel like some
look down upon both her and her kits, for their father
is a loner. She plans on raising them with pride in their
heritage and doesn't keep it a secret.









Arcticpaw was originally born away from the clan. His
mother, Windpelt, fell in love with an outsider known as
Pascal. This came soon after her mate died, leaving her
vulnerable to any sort of emotional support. Their relati
onship was kept a secret and eventually the tom managed
to convince her to run away with him. Arcticpaw was
born extremely weak and Windpelt's body could not han
dle the birth; she died soon after having him. Panicked
and unsure what to do, Pascal dropped him as close to
camp as he could risk getting.

Due to this, Arcticpaw is not the fondest of his mother.
He is bitter at the path she chose and feels as if he was
denied a proper connection with his half-siblings, even
though they harbour no such resentment towards him.
Arcticpaw has a fierce desire to prove himself and tries
to work harder than others to make that happen. It's
hard to get to know him, for he is as icy as his name
implies, but once his heart is thawed he has the potent
ial to be an amazing friend.



Small but inquisitive, Greykit takes after his uncle's quiet
personality. He's still learning what it means to be a kit
and enjoys playing with his sister, Flowerkit, and the tails
of fellow clanmates. Greykit isn't really sure he wants to
be a warrior though and enjoys watching the medicine cats
work instead. The little tom is certainly the easier to handle
of the two siblings.















A delicate she-cat with a big heart, Flowerkit definitely takes
after her mother. She's very outspoken and isn't afraid to speak
up about things. Flowerkit has a cheerful disposition and is
hardly ever down. The little she-cat is usually the one leading
the expeditions and is known for finding trouble in the oddest
places. Flowerkit doesn't mind at all that her father is a loner
and hopes to meet him one day.











Born a kittypet, Helios grew up indoors. He never really cared
for the kittypet lifestyle and hated being coddled by the two-
legged kits. The moment he could, he escaped into the forest.
Helios is a gruff tom with a deep voice. He is a "tough love"
type of cat and doesn't really feel emotion for shows of weak
ness. Willowheart was a love interest to him but once she att
empted to get him to join the clan, he left. It reminded him
of the life trapped as a kittypet and Helios refused to go back
to a life such as that. He was unaware of her carrying kits at
the time otherwise he may have stayed.

born mute, fawnstripe is a gentle she-cat who communicates through movements rather than noises. she has a headstrong attitude and doesn't let this get her down, nor does it bother her when comments are made on the condition she was born with. fawnstripe used her inability to make vocal noises to her advantage, learning new ways of speaking through, say, the brush of a tail on a leaf or the scratch of a paw on the ground. the she-cat is excellent at hunting and has a knack for creeping up on others whether she means to or not. there are plenty of things she wishes to say, and although those words may never fall upon ears in this life, fawnstripe hopes in the next she may be able to properly convey her feelings.

originally born a quiet kit, timberkit soon grew into his usual rambunctious self. he's a spirited little tom with a big meow and an even bigger heart, a quality he inherited from his parents. while boastful of his adventures, this more than likely won't carry over into his warrior years. he's a good storyteller and will chatter for hours to the elders and queens; his grasp on when to stop isn't quite there yet. the little kit is friendly and outgoing to a fault but don't mistake that for foolishness; his mind is constantly observing his surroundings. he's smart and a quick problem solver. timberkit wants nothing more than to become a warrior one day. even though he has a rowdy nature and may get into trouble on occasion, he makes sure he does nothing to stop his apprentice ceremony, and hopes to one day make his clan proud.

timberkit does have his share of demons, however, and often blames himself for his mother's death. hearing what a great leader she was often makes him wonder if she'd still be there had he not been born. the resentment is a constant flame within his chest and timberkit holds a degree of dislike for himself. on particularly rough nights, he sometimes wonders if his father resents him too, but he'll more than likely never voice these concerns.

with an air of authority and a commanding voice to ma

example should he need to. where most kings grow com
placent and lazy upon their throne, vincent did not. he
continues to train and learn and wait. whispers of rebe
llion did not fall on deaf ears, and vincent will not sit
around and simply wait for the inevitable.

the king has a charming personality with a deadly edge,
all smooth tones and relative ease. he is quite the intel
lect and enjoys having conversations with the right peo
ple. if vincent is pleased with someone, he will often
allow them back into the palace for more conversation.
don't mistake his smiles for kindness though. he has no
issues throwing someone into the dungeon or, even wor
se, killing them on the spot. he is a king you don't want
to make angry.

vincent enjoys normal mundane things like reading, sit
ting in his impressive garden, and hosting parties. he
has a magnificent steed with which he often rides outsi
de castle walls with. he is unafraid and really has no
reason to be; he may be a king, but he was a war chief
even long beforehand.
