okay, whenever i've tried to make a signature or anything with a certain color scheme, the links i use always turn the text blue. but i've seen other people whose links stay the same color as the other text. how do i do that?

it's actually a pretty easy thing to do. if you have clicked a link, it'll turn that annoying blue color and usually ruins a lot of color schemes.
that's when you just go like this [url=link]words[/url]
to change it to whatever color you want, you have to put the specific color code inside the [url][ /url] like this example:
[url=link][color=#00000]words[ /color][ /url]
obviously all without the spaces, but it should look similar to that.

@malfoys, i don't know if you're still looking for the dingbat, but the font is wallflowers (capital E)

@sundead, all avatars on cs forums must be 100x100 (unless if you're talking about oekaki, which can be 300x300 but they're scaled down to 100x100 if you choose to set them as your avatar)
for better quality, it's recommended to have a large image to start off with. scaling images down will always lower the quality, no matter what.

@red, you can use either pixlr or oie (online image editor). pixlr only works with images but oie works with both gifs and images (oie even has a few ""premade"" templates you can crop your images into, i think? you can always make your own if you need to)

i am still learning how to make boxes allign 'right' in signatures.
Could someone edit this for me so its alligned to the right rather than the left so I can further experiment?

so the part with the name was in the same column as the bio box, and (in my experience) it can't be. i put them into separate columns and used transparent x's to keep the bio under it. the image went in place after that.
the column didn't end until the end of the name, which kept the image from going there.
i also took the center tags off the image, as everything is left aligned, so they didn't really seem to serve a purpose.
