Here you go! Unfortunately, since I am at school, I can't copy/paste you the image url myself, so this is the best I can do. I would recommend uploading the image to a hosting site before you make it your avatar to be safe, just so you don't end up randomly losing it, or you could simply download it. If the quality is too low for your preference (from what I can tell it should be fine), you would have better luck shrinking an image that was already small and of high quality.

Image resizing is something you can do yourself on multiple platforms - as for downloadable software, I personally use GIMP and Photoshop. I wouldn't recommend using Photoshop unless you have the money and/or are able to get it from your school (which I did), but GIMP is pretty much a poor-man's version and is very similar in most aspects. Otherwise, for online clients, you can use Online Image Editor, Pixlr, ezgif, and more that are linked here about halfway down the post.

hello! im trying to do that thing where people have a column with a gradient, kinda like this:
