@terrä if you're referring to the transparent characters just add an extra
left or right tag (in this case left) before the left or right tag that contains

since the image goes under the font, it has to be pushed down and put into a separate column. then you just add the text in another column after it

recently when I've been trying to make avatars and save them on imgur, when I copy the right link address and paste it to the box, it says that url you specified is invalid. I did this many times before and it worked but now it's quite strange. Is it just me or is a bug or something???

ONLINE IMAGE EDITOR (OIE) WITH IMGUR ISSUES

Hey there, everyone!

A lot of people have been having problems with Online Image Editor (OIE), and I wanted to help try and clarify things. As things stand right now, people are unable to copy/paste images or image urls straight from OIE and into Imgur, which is a very not good thing, considering how much time we as coders can save by simply using copy/paste. Instead, we have to actually save the image onto our device, then upload the file to imgur. This seems to have been happening for a few weeks now, but I am unsure of a specific date; it likely started around early January or late December from what I recall, but someone who has been using both more frequently may be able to make a better estimation.

What can we do at the moment? For now, we will have to save the images and upload them to Imgur manually, even though it may not be the speediest way to go about things. Otherwise, you can use a different image hosting site, a few of which are linked here near the top of the post. I do not think anybody really knows why it has not been working properly, but I believe it may have something to do with the Imgur beta testing phase. Again, we will not know more until we conduct some tests to gather more information and figure out if it is OIE or Imgur having the issue.

At the moment, I am unsure if there are similar problems with uploading image urls or copy/pasting images from OIE into other image hosting sites. I cannot test it out right now as I am currently in school as I write this, but I plan to edit in the results once I get a chance to run some tests later tonight.

I am very sorry for the inconvenience, but, at the moment, it looks like there is not much that can be done. I really hope this issue gets resolved soon, but we may have to consider the possibility of this being a long-term problem. Happy coding!

@parabatai. i don't know how it is for everyone else, but i've been having problems copy and pasting to imgur from any site, not just oie, and it's always been like that for me.

@g.oatmeal just hit enter after the image, and put your image in there.
