I'm kind of a noob at coding and can't figure out how to level the dots with the line thingies. Could someone please help? I've also been trying to put another thing of dots on the right side, but I'm not sure. -If you know what I mean.

I believe I know what you're trying to say, sleeper; is this what you wanted? I put each separate column into their own [left][ /left] brackets so everything would be a bit more organized, but you won't be able to line up the dots with the lines themselves unless you use an image. I'd be willing to help with that if you wanted, but what's above is what I was able to do for now. I also added the dots on the right, and I think they look neat. When I put the black lines into their own [left][ /left] brackets, I separated them using transparent periods; just remove them and put whatever you want in replacement between the lines. And I know the lining isn't the best at the bottom, but that can't be helped since there are images in the first column. Eugh sorry for the lengthy explanation, but yeah. I hope this was what you were looking for?

Remove Image Background- GIMP

this tutorial is to show you how to remove image background (make it transparent) with the program GIMP. you do need to download it, but the program is free and for both mac & windows (i have a mac). if you still have questions about the process by the end of the tutorial, let me know! this can work with gifs, but is recommended for png/jpg images only!

1. Select your image.

for this tutorial, i am using this official art of heine rammsteiner (white hair), but you can use any image of any size (this one is 1740x1258px). i recommend using larger images since i find them easier to work with.

2. Open in GIMP & set alpha channel.

click "file" in the top menu, then "open". now you need to make sure the image has an "alpha channel" (this lets it be transparent). you can do this by going to "layer", "transparency", then "add alpha channel". some images will already have one, which is super.

3. Use the "free select" tool (lasso).

i always set the mode to "replace current selection" (the filled in red box). my settings are pictured below.

there are actually multiple ways to remove image backgrounds in gimp, but this is the one i use on images that have busy backgrounds (not just one color), like in my example. for this you basically outline what you want to keep with the free select tool. i do this by zooming in so i can see the pixels, like below, then clicking to set each point around the subject.

as you can see, you get extremely close to the image. this also prevents random pixels remaining in the background in the end. just select all around the whole of what you want to keep and connect it back to your start, like below (a full view of what it looks like when its done & connected). only outline the outside lines. we will come to the inner areas later.

the dashed line represents the selection.

4. Erase the background.

you selected the image, but the selection needs to be of the background area. so invert the selection by clicking "select" in the menu and then "invert" or doing command+i. then you use the eraser tool to erase everything in the selected area. this is what my image looks like now (checkerboard represents transparent areas)

5. Fix it up.

as you can see, there were some areas left in the image to make transparent (between his arms). just select them how you did in the past steps & erase the area (you dont need to invert the selection this time though). once everything you want is erased, get rid of all that extra transparent area in the image. i do this by going to "image" in the menu bar and then "autocrop image". that gets rid of any extra empty space.

6. Export the product.

final step is to export your image. go to "file" then "export as" or command+shift+e. name your file & save it in the correct spot. make sure it has .png on the end. this makes sure the background in transparent. below are the export settings i use for my transparents.

then you can upload your image to a hosting website (imgur, puush, etc.) or use it in further sig edits! the result of mine is below, downsized to fit the forum c:
