i know there's a lot of newbie coders out there who aspire to code well, and there are a few sources that i have used throughout my
time as a coder on chicken smoothie. one tip I have is to keep going at it and use bbcode often, but also use the sources available to
you! don't be afraid to ask for help, and always use your resources. i generally have like ten pages up at once for various cs pages,
image manipulation, and more. while just making a rough draft for this thread (all of the bare bones), i have seven tabs open, not

an amazing source for various information in relation to coding and image manipulation! there are many tutorials available, as well as free code and templates to use and symbols you can copy and paste. the forum is also available for asking any and all questions relating to code and image manipulation.

the signature fanclub is easily one of the most welcoming communities i have been a part of on chicken smoothie. here you can talk code, chat about off-topic things, and ask for advice. a lot of people will ask about co-owning signature shops, or may ask for advice on their own code; we also give advice and provide people with constructive criticism on their work.

> signature criticism
a great place full of honesty and solid constructive criticism available to anyone who asks. the way it works is that you provide constructive criticism on the signature above you, then the next person does the same for you.

> signature respect
signature respect is a bit more of a less-professional version on signature criticism, and tends to focus more on the positive aspects of your signature rather than commenting on the negatives as well. still, I love the community there and it works the same as signature criticism.

> 1001 fonts
1001 fonts is my personal favorite for finding various fonts. i have used it for all sorts of projects (not only coding-related), and have been completely satisfied with them. just make sure you can use the fonts you want, because some of the fonts have restrictions for use.

> imgur
imgur is the image hosting site i use for all of my images that i use on chicken smoothie. It's really easy to work with, and has a friendly interface that is nice to use. it also allows you to upload multiple images at once, and you can create albums to house groups of images that you want stored together.

> online image editor
when i don't have access to gimp or need to make a quick edit/modify a gif, my go-to website is online image editor, which is similar to an online version of photoshop, though the tools are rather depleted. it's good for creating quick and easy avatars, making transparent sections of an image (especially gifs), and doing image overlays.
