Every video gamer should know that the light gets rid of the darkness, like in slender man arrivals in the mines xD

How I see it, is that this guy's job is to guide souls to where they belong. If your soul loses sight of the light, darkness
consumes your soul as soon as the light becomes nothing in the distance. He does not back track or save you as that is not his job. He only guides the souls. In front of him, light is always touching him giving him a whole form. In the back, behind him, is completely consumed by darkness. The darkness loves to hang behind him waiting for souls to fall behind. He will do this for eternity. He is nothing but energy, power, and a lost soul himself.
