Goennec Pen #: 3
Name: Paprika
How would you use him/her: ...
Define your Goennec: Born among the goennecs of the north-east, Paprika grew up among other ungulates - such as the deer - as well as her own species. The recent dissapearence of most of the native human populations had meant that the animal populations boomed, and thus the different species of herbivores found that banding together in mixed groups wasn't sucha bad idea, after-all while the deer primarily grazed, the goennecs could also eat smaller herbivores such as rabbits, thus eliminating some competition for food. The other humans had kept themselves mostly close to the coast for now, some had mingled with the natives, but generally speaking they had not spread far enough to be a threat to the herbivores.

It was in this mixed place Paprika learned her ways about the world. Her tolerance towards other species is very high as a result of being a member of this band of different herds, however this also means that she is more likely to turn and face a potential threat than flee, which has in the past brought problems. Her speech is generally influenced by some deer-like phrases and a very heavy accent.

As you can see, this is very much a work in progress.

Goennec Pen #: 1

Image

Name: Egypt

How would you use him/her:

He will make a great friend, who doesn't have very many right now and I most definattly would go ahead and get him out there in the roleplay. He would also be an awsome companion to Sunrise and I think they will become the best of friends. I do intend to make him a story that truely fits him and hope that if I do get him I can work him into the stories with my other non Goennec characters as well because some of them I know would fit with him.

Define your Goennec:

Name: Eygpt
1'6"
Naturally Colored
No Abnormalities

Speaks a little irish but his primary langage is and will always be english.

The hardy young kid is playful but can be serious when he needs to be, he loves to play though and right now just wants to enjoy his youth. His biggest dream is to grow to be a strong harem leader and pass on his line to the next gerneration. He knows to do this he has to survive though. He has had an odd past that mostly is only known by him and he doesn't remember most of it. His biggest strenght is his drive to please

Goennec Pen #:

2

Name:

Jade

Gender:

Female

How would you use him/her:

Jade will be used for many, many things by me. She will be placed in my Character thread, for I have two, she will be placed in my "Favorite Characters" thread. I'd like to spoil her with art, bought from only the best artists. I will create different stories about her, and make sure she gets much love. I will also put her into the roleplay, and roleplay her alot. She is beautiful, yet normal at the same time. For some reason she seems to pull me in every time I look at her. I hope to get her, and once I do, I promise I'll never let her collect dust.

Personailty:

Jade is an outgoing Goennec, she is always smiling and cheerful, not letting anything ruin her day. She tries her best to make others smile and laugh, and hates when her friends are sad. She loves to play pranks and loves to run around, she prefers the outdoors and dislikes when she's coop'ed up in one place for to long. Jae likes the company of others and doesn't like being alone for to long. Though Jade can tend to be a bit, odd. She often has her head up in the clouds and likes to think of impossible things, this usally doesn't get her any friends. She doesn't mind, much. Jade is very clusmy, and is always having trouble keeping her balance. She also often can't keep her thoughts inside of her head, and eventually spills them.

Likes:

. Birds- Jade loves birds, she could sit in the grass for hours, watching them fly around.
. Peace- Jade loves when everything is peaceful and quiet, and when everyone is happy. She dreams of peace spreading through the entire world, and everyone being happy.
. The Color Green- Jade's favorite color is, of course, green. To her it's a calming color, that seems to spread peace.
. Daydreaming- Jade doesn't know why, but daydreaming seems magical to her. She thinks it's amazing that you can create images in your mind, images of anything you want. She's always found doing it, and she thinks of the craziest things.

Dislikes:

. Loud Noises- Jade doesn't like when people seem to break the peaceful silence with loud noises.
. Rude People- Jade tries not to mind rude comments, and usally stays away from others, but sometimes people can just be very rude and it hurts her feellings.
. Fightning- Jade is a peace maker, she doesn't like fightning and hopes to spread peace.

History:

I remember my history quite well. It seems as if, as if I was born yesterday. I was quite odd as a child, yet, I still am now. I never was the sharpest tool in the shed, but I wasn't the dullest one, either. I just always had my head in the clouds, and had trouble keeping my thoughts inside my head...I'm good at remembering things though, for I can remember every little detail in my past. It haunts me like a ghost, though, that's a bit impossible. Right? Well, you'll soon find out...

My first steps out of the den, weren't really steps at all. I was excited to leave the den, I was an only child, and it was super boring for me to sit in a den all day. Once my mother told me I could go out and finally explore, I bounded out of the den as fast as I could and jumped into the air, looking at the clouds. I guess I expected I was going to grow wings and fly, but instead, gravity took a hold of me and landed with a "plop!" onto the ground. That didn't seem to bother me though, I was much to excited to care. I simply stood back up and shook the dirt off my fur, looking around.

Catching a flutter of movement in the corner of my eye, I turned and walked towards a bright, pink flower. I sniffed at it, and jumped back swiftly, for I had taken a big whiff and the smell was strong. Shaking my head to get the smell out, I spotted a little red bug with blacks spots crawling on a blade of grass. Putting my nose close to it, I breathed in air and then breathed it out, which blowed the creature off the blade of grass and onto the ground.

Bored with the bug, I kept walking through the grass and looking around, trying to find something to do. I jumped, startled, when I heard a loud noise and a creature came out of a tree and flew off into the sky. The way it's wings fluttered silently, how graceful.

At that moment, a crazy idea struck my head.

I wanted to learn to fly. And I was going to find a way to do it.

Soon I saw the creature getting smaller and smaller as it flew off, I let out a sigh as I watched the creature fly off. Half of me wanted to chase after the creature, and the other half told me to stay with the herd. After a few moments, one of the halves won. "Hey! Come back!" I yelled at the creature, not knowing it didn't understand. Once I saw that the creature didn't want to come back, I decided to come to it. Standing up, I bounded after the creature, swiftly dodging the logs and trees. "Come back!" I yelled at it again, but soon it was out of sight.

Slowing to a stop, I realized that the creature was to far away, I should just pray that another one flies by soon. Turning around, I walked back to the herd and layed down in the grass, watching as my mother layed down by my side. "Looks like you've been out exploring." She said looking at me. "Yeah! I sniffed a flower, and I was looking at a bug. And I saw a feathered creature that could fly! Can you belive that? It was flying!" I exclaimed happily and my mother laughed softly. "Yes, I belive it. Those are birds, there are lots of them." She said. "Birds? Well, I like birds." I said and drifted off into a deep sleep.

Once I relized I was awake, I stood up so quickly my mother followed my movements and looked around, looking for preditors. At that moment, the whole herd was up on the their feet. "My dear, what made you stand up so quickly? Where is the danger?" My mother asked me softly, hint of fear in her voice.

Fear might of been in her voice. Embaressment was in mine.

"I-..There is no danger mum...I just was excited to see if any birds where around.." At my words, the adults snorted angerily, mad they woke for nothing. And the other kids, older then me of course, laughed. I didn't seem bothered my them, I was just embaressed. My mother sighed at sat down. "Please don't ever do that again, I'm afraid the other members don't like to be awaken early." She said and layed back down again.

I simply nodded before turning away and walking through the grass, looking at the sky and the trees closely. I crouched down silently, waiting, waiting , waiting. Soon I saw a flicker of movement and saw a feathered creature, a bird! I walked towards it slowly, making sure it didn't see me. I must learn the ways of a bird, that way I'll be able to fly... I thought in my head.

Taking another step forward, I was unaware that my paw has steped on a twig, snapping it in half. At the sound, the bird opened it's wings and soared into the air. Turning my head I saw a bunch of other birds, that where hidden in the trees, take off after the other bird. Sighing, I cocked my head and looked at the tree. Hrmm... Walking towards the tree, I saw a low branch and lept onto it, which was very, very hard. Making sure I had my balance, I lept onto another branch, then another, then another, until I was on the highest one.

The younger Goennecs circled around the tree, looking up at me, and the olders ones where rushing to get, not my mother, but my father. Once his eyes met mine, he rushed towards me, his deep voice booming loudly. "Jade! Get down there right now!" I heard the laughing of the younger Goennecs below me. "She actully thinks she can fly, like a bird. Pathetic!" Their words angered me, I would show them, I would fly. I jumped off the branch and looked up at the clouds, but instead of flying up, I fell down, again, onto the ground.

My dad nudged me up and looked at me sternly, the younger Goennecs bursting with laughter from behind. "No daughter of mine will belive she can fly. Don't you have any sense!?" He snorted a walked away, the herd following him.

That night I sat on a cliff, watching as the moon rose high into the air, and as the sun sank under the mountains. I let out a depressed sigh, wondering why I even had the stupid idea to fly in the first place. I pricked my ears once I heard the rustle of leaves and peered over my shoulder, seeing a male Goennec. I'd seen him before, he was in our heard and was one of my dads friends. "You don't seem to happy." He said softly and sat behind me, his vivid green eyes sparkling.

"Well, if you weren't able to see, or hear it from everyone in the herd, I fell from a tree."

"I don't think ''fell'' is what your were planning." The male said and chuckled softly, an amused tone in his voice as he looked at me.

I snorted and stood up, looking at him, my expression showing I wasn't amused. He seemed to catch it, and his chuckle died down. "No need to get fussy. I did the same thing when I was younger." He said, looking out into the distance. His words seemed to catch my attention quickly, and I cocked my head at him. "Really? You tried to jump out of a tree too?" He laughed at that, and looked back at me. "Well, not quite. I did try to fly, I tried alot of things. Your father never approved though, he always was to serious. ''Don't you go walking around like you have no brains!" he would say." That made me giggle, and I smiled up at the male. "Yup! You got it right, that's him. I wish he wasn't like that though, I wish he understood. There are so many questions to be asked, and to be answered. But he doesn't understand."

"Jade!" The deep voice of my father made me jumped, and I stood up and turned to look at him. "It's time to go to bed, come o-" His words stopped has his eyes met the Goennec sitting beside me. "Ah, hello there Firenze. Trying to put more impossible ideas into my daughters head?" He said sternly, frowning. Firenze took a deep breath, and looked at my father calmly. "I'm not putting impossible ideas into her head, I'm simply supporting her, unlike some people I know." He said, stood up, and walked off to the herd. I watched him go with a small smile on my face, but then saw my dads look and hid the smile, following him back to the den.

Once I woke up in the morning, I walked out of the den, played and ate some bugs, and drank from the stream. Then I started to head towards the cliff I was at yesterday and saw the shape on Firenze sitting down. Smiling happily, I bounded towards him and sat down beside him. "Ah, I expected I'd meet you here today. Sleep good?" He said calmly, looking at me. I nodded, and watched as birds flew through the cloud. "You and dad don't look like you're close friends anymore."I said and looked at him. "No, after a while my idea's and his differed. And I guess it's meant to be that way." He said. "Are you really supporting me?" I asked him, cocking my head like I always do.

"Of course, why would I not? I have learned, that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours." He said softly, in a sing-song voice.

"That was beautiful." I said looking at him, letting his words flow through my ears. "Yes, my mother was a supporter of my thoughts. She told me alot of odd quotes, yet they all helped me get through my life. Seeing as you don't have anyone to support you, I'll take over that job." He said and layed down on the soft grass.

"You mean it? You're going to support me? Promise?"

"Promise."

"Cross your heart?"

Firenze chuckled at my words, and looked at me amused. "Cross my heart."

I smiled and layed down beside him, looking out into the distance. "Does that mean, that I can ask you my questions, and that you'll answer them?" I asked, looking at him curiously. "That depends on the question." He said looking at me.

"Ok then, well, how does the sky get it's colors?" I asked.

"Magical fairies come everyday and everynight, painting the sky."

"How was the sun made?"

"A giant dragon made a fire ball and pushed it towards the earth. It heads towards us everyday, but it's very far away, so it will take a long time before it comes here." He answered.

"Ok, I have one more question."

"Yes?"

"How come you're so werid?"

Firenze laughed and rolled onto his back, looking up at the clouds smiling. "Because if everyone in this world was normal, life would be boring. And I'm not werid, I simply just stretch my feelings." He said calming, turning his head to look at me. "Am I normal?" I asked him curiously. "Of course not. No one is normal, no one is alike. You must live life to it's fullest, being who you really are." He said.

"But if you must live life to it's fullest, then why are you still here?" I asked him. "The answer has not yet come to me, but I know it will soon." "Well, I want to live my life to it's fullest. And I know that won't happen if I stay in the herd." I said sitting up, Firenze following my movements. "You know, you are very odd for your age. Much like me when I was a child. Though, like I said before, my mother supported my ideas. So when I was younger, I left the herd, and she didn't mind."

"Where did you go?" I asked him.

"Oh I went to many, many places. And everywhere I went, I tested my thoughts, and my dreams. Trying to find my purpose here, and purpose for life. I haven't found it yet, but in the mean time, I taught others, like you. Helping them make their dreams come true, helping them achive their purpose-"

"Which you will not do as long as I'm here!" My father's deep voice echoed, and again, I jumped. "My daughter is already filled with crazy ideas, I don't need you to fill her with more!" Firenze stood up and faced my fater, sighing softly. "You cannot lock up her dreams."

"I can do whatever I like! I'm the leader of this herd and my word is law!"

"You cannot fill up her brain with lies! She diserves to know the truth!"

"SHUT UP!!!"

The yell of my mother seemed to not just make me jump, but the whole herd. For my mother was usally gentle, and it was rare to hear her yell. She walked over to be and stood beside me, staring at my father sternly. "We do not need to fight. Tyson, you must understand-"

"I understand enough! I'm the leader here! And you sha'll listen to me!"

"And I'm your mate! My word counts just as much as yours does! Stop! For the sake of our daughter, please stop." She begged my father, but he didn't listen. He has gotten to angry, to angry to control himself. He ran at my mother, and she didn't have enough time to run away...

Silver tears streamed down my face and I shrieked as I saw my mother's body being thrown over the cliff. Gasps from the herd echoed through the forest, and Firenze stood close to my side. "That went to far, Tyson. This is no longer a safe area. You're too power hungry." He said and took another step closer to me.

My father soon got the idea Firenze was planning and stomped on the ground hard with his hooves. "Fine! Take her away and fill her mind with silly thoughts! She is too weak, no daughter of mine." He said and walked off, the herd to afraid they would meet the same fate as my mother, followed him.

That night Firneze had taken me deep into the forest, away from my father. I stayed close by his side, my head low and sad. We soon found a stump with a hole in it, it was a big stump, so it was a good place to sleep with lots of room. I layed against Fireneze that night, tired, from crying. I had many questions to ask, but I decided it would be better to hold them off for tomarrow. Closing my eyes, I drifted off into a dark slumber.

Waking up, I saw a couple of apples by my side. Eating them swiftly, I stretched and walked out of the den, sitting down by Firenze. "I'm sorry, for what you had to see last night." He said softly, looking down at me. "Don't worry, I guess everything happens for a reason. But I still don't get one thing." I replied.

"And that is?"

"Last night you told me dad to tell me the truth. Well, what's the truth?"

Firenze sighed, and I could tell he didn't want to tell me the truth. He looked over at me calmy and spoke softly. "You're a seeker." He said.

"A what?"

"A seeker. Like me, I was born one, and so was my mother. That's why she supported me so much. But my father didn't support it, so he banashed me from the grounds, saying I was a freak. My job is to travel, and mentor other seekers, like you."

"But what does a seeker do?" I was confused, and impatient at the moment.

"A seeker is a Goennec, that is born with the ability to do many things. They're born with a much wider mind, and that's why we're so odd to others. Like how you want to learn to fly, no Goennec in their right mind would try to fly, but a seeker would. Each seeker is born with a special ability, able to do something, another seeker can't. They also are born with a seer."

I was still completly confused, how could I be something so odd? I know this Goennec wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed, but I didn't know he was that dull. "Ok, so what's a seer?"

"A seer, is a different animal, that shares your soul. They can be any animal, but a Goennec. They have the power to talk to you, but only you. They look like you, and have the same abilities you have. It's hard to find your seer, but you'll know when you find it because, you'll be able to speak to it, and it will have your personailty. You can summon your seer, too. Only you can, though."

"Ok, now what is a seeker's purpose? What are we suposed to do? Make a fool of ourselves and be hated?"

"No, long ago a seeker was born, using his power in a bad way. Seekers are suposed to be nice Goennecs, born to help others. But this seeker took advantage of his power, trying to rule the world. Our misson is to make an army of good Seeker's, and destroy him."

"But he's just one Goennec, wouldn't we be able to stop him?"

"Nope, his ability is to control other's minds. He took over others, not just Goennecs, but all kinds of creatures. They are his army, all powerful and ready to kill. This Goennec's name is Tyson, and he's your father. And I'm your brother."

Ok, I think I lost it at this point. "Wait, let me get this straight. My mother has this power, and she gave birth to you, and you had it. She was supportive of you, but Tyson wasn't, because he was planning to use his power for evil. But pretends like he doesn't have this power. And then I'm born, with the same issue, and you meet me, and wow. So does that mean-"

Firenze nodded, knowing what I was going to ask. "That the herd, is under his control. Your mother's ability, though, is a very unquie one. She has the power to block your father's ability, though he doesn't know. And for the sake of you, me, and the herd, she stayed with him."

"Ok, so what's your ability? And who's your seer?"

"I have the ability to read minds. For example, you're a bit confused about this. Arn't you?"

"That's not reading minds, it's obvious that I'm confused."

"Ok, I admit, that was to easy. But now your embaressed, beause you thought I was handsome when you first saw me, and now you relize I'm your brother." He said grinning, as I was blushing, my face as red as a cherry.

"So your ability is to read minds, who's your seer? Can't you summon it like you said before?"

Firenze nodded, and closed his eyes, concentraiting hard. Soon, a black mist started to appear at Firenze's side, and once it blew away, a cat, the same colors as my brother, appear. The male cat started meowing, looking at Firenze.

I was confused, how could a cat, a cat be powerful?

"Your sister doubts my abilities" Firneze repeated the cats words, and I blushed, the cat's powerful green eyes staring at me intently.

"He can read minds to?!?!?" I questioned shocked and looked at Firenze. "You didn't tell me this."

"Well I told you a seer shares part of your soul. So you figured you would already know."

"Right, like how I figured I'd be some werid creature that has to save the world. Now, can't I just summon my seer? Even if I've never met it?"

"No, you must meet a seer before you can summon it. I needed to met Scratch before I could summon him."

"Scratch, yeah, ok. So are we just going to travel around, trying to find out who my seer is, and what my ability is?" I asked Firenze, still a bit confused about this whole conversation.

"Yup, so I suggest we get a move on. It's getting dark, and I don't want to stay here, the stump is uncomfortable." Firenze said, Scratch jumping on his back. Firenze then started walking through the forest, me trailing from behind, thoughts whirling around in my mind.

Soon we came to a huge dark cave, it was warm and dry inside, a perfect place to spend the night. Firenze layed down, Scratch laying on one side of him, me on the other. "Where do suppose we'll find my seer?" I asked, knowing the world is huge. "You'll just know where." Firenze said, closing his eyes to sleep, and I did the same thing.

Goennec Pen #:
2
Name:
Mai'yena
[Mai]
How would you use him/her:

Oh my god Kam, I hate you.
I have another form that I really need to get started on for a tracker dog, and I have a million other things to do for spring break. I have no time to do this, but there's no way I can just pass her over twice. Stop making such adorable little goeys. </3
I almost went for her the last time she was put up, but had to pass her over because I had mid terms to work on and had no motivation what-so-ever to write anything. I immediately regretted it afterward, having thought out her entire personality an history but never writing it down. I had no idea she didn't get adopted, and there's no way I'm going to sit around and not write this time.
Anyways, she would join my other three in their herd, and all of their odd little adventures as a result. She would be included in a lot of stories, and would certainly never be forgotten.
She would also be doodled all over my school papers, and whenever else I get the chance. I draw my goeys and arbexes at school all the time, much to the confusion of my teachers who have no idea what they are.

Define your Goennec:

[ Narcolepsy: a sleep disorder that causes excessive sleepiness and frequent daytime sleep attacks. ]

---

She was tired, almost too weak to stand. She could feel her eyelids drooping, and every once in a while she had to violently shake her head or jam her horns up against the nearest tree just to wake herself up, but she still continued to wander about.
She couldn't go to sleep, not as long as she could help it.
But she could feel the exhaustion setting in, and every once in a while her knees would start to lock up.
Even now, it was almost like a dream.
Little creatures composed of dark shadows formed around her, dancing around her feet and nipped at her heels. Waiting, always waiting for the little goennec to give in so they could invade her nightmares. She couldn't sleep, not now. She was far too afraid of what awaited her. Soon enough she'd collapse, she knew, but until then she'd continue to fight it.

---

[It was a strange world, her dream world, populated by menacing beasts and memories she always tried to suppress. All of her deepest fears and worries all twisted together and lying in wait. It terrified her to think that such horrors could come from the mind of one so gentle.
A word she always tried to avoid, despite how much it seemed to dominate her life.

Goennec Pen #: 1
Name: Cato
How would you use him/her: I would use as a character, and mate to others charachters
Define your Goennec: naturally, a good boy, likes to get people going, but when it comes to fighting he wants nothing to do with it. He likes long walks and adventures! He liks reading, and writing. but hates going to school. he like to draw and schetch aswell.

I won't be able to make the list this round, Kam. Actually, I might not be able to until next fall. >.>;; Once Finals are over, I'm going back home, where I won't have constant access to the Internet. :C Incredibly sorry!
