I have had Torikku Robinson for roughly 10 years now, and she has gone through so many changes. I couldn't get rid of her if I tried, and I doubt I would even want to. She is the crux of my development as a person, physically and mentally - a reminder of how I've grown and how far I've come, particularly in my skills as a writer. Sure, her backstory is a mess of confusion. You know what though? I wrote it as a kid, and changing it would mean erasing that reminder of my growth. It doesn't matter what her past was like, at least in every little detail. It matters most who she is now, and who she may be in the future.
