In 2016, I made an OC I called HootHoot. He was an owl-like creature that was supposed to be a self-insert type for an indie game me and my best friend were obsessed with- he also had an OC himself that was an owl ? :0c
I've used Hoot in doodles here and there, but eventually fell out of drawing him : ( And recently, I started journaling again and doodled him. Realizing how much I missed the lil' bean, and knowing that I wanted to join this " Official Oekaki Challenge " for the first time, I thought : " Hey- why not redesign HootHoot ? " And so I started q v q )

The timer's not off ;; I struggled so hard with the colors :')
Colors and patterns are my weakest quality, methinks ;; Anatomy comes second, most probably 😂

But yeah !!
Cosmo is here ^^ And I'm definitely going to miss HootHoot as he was before :< But I guess there's always room to design another similar character ? 👀👀👀

+ anyway, this is Brackensplash! She was made in 2014 as a male, described to be a brown tabby with blue eyes, mate to the leader. Since then I changed him to be transgender and to be a popular transgender figure in the clans, promoting trans beauty and being yourself, even if others try to hit you down. So yeah, this is new Brackensplash !

right now he has: 5 evil swords, 3 cursed amulets, 1 cursed suit of armor, and some Converse high-tops (possessed)

He hasn't faced any consequences for this...
because all the evil entities are currently fighting with each other...
and ignoring him entirely...

new oc i made for the oekaki challenge

if you've been following me for awhile, you might remember that i drew denise. a lot.
i drew him sm that there was a whole page in my gallery once filled with him 3_3
he's been one of my favorite characters for awhile, and now i've finally gotten to use him!

i've been so inspired by ghibli and others recently, that i've started to world build one of my own.
this is my redesign of denise, which i did to be able to fit him in more easily in the world i was making so far.
he's one of the founders of the land, which leads him to be ancient, more than 1000 years old.
denise takes the form of a young boy, and with his wings, guides the souls from the human world, through the clouds and into his world with his wings. i have a sketch depicting what that would look like, but it's ugly so i'm not going to post it.

My old kinda my first sona who I lost connection with because I couldn't seem to transfer her species over right.
She was a dutch angel dragon but I wanted her to be something else along the road and redesigned her into an enfield (bird/fox/canine chimera) but I couldn't connect with the design because I didn't like how I redid her design and just avoided her.

I didn't do anything to her raven companion, Demetri, but I might add something to him later on...maybe
totally didn't skip him because I can't draw birds or anything hahaha...

But I loved and missed her too much to not try and redesign her for this challenge since I saw the chance c:

I joined very recently so if I’m doing something wrong already I apologize!

This is my first oc! I’m terrified of commitment and I feel like ocs should be something meaningful to you, so I’ve never actually designed any characters up until now!!
Her name is Fei, my main inspirations for her are pop culture and traditional Asia which are two things that make up a huge part of my identity
Hoping to further flesh her out throughout 2020 and make more art of her?

With all that said it was really hard to draw in okaki, I hope I’ll get a chance to show what I can do in a comfortable drawing program but the fact that people can draw with this is amazing!💜💛💜

a slight redesign of feral nessa, which will go on her anthro version.
anthro version will now have more girly things such as skirts or dresses or smthn. for now have a stripes-and-spots bomk gorl.

i'm removing that 'x' on his chest (and other dumb stripes), extending his hair, giving his feets glowy pads, extending + curling his horns inward, and nipnop piercing yey

i HATE how long it took to come up with these changes hrrgh

He's been around forever for me, almost like an escape from the real world.
