I stalled on making the prologue cover nearly two weeks after I started the series. I see this is off to a good start...

Suddenly as Michael started walking on Hoshi Bridge, it stopped raining.

Michael (talking to self): It.. it stopped raining? It's suppose to always rain in Section Eight... did something happen?

Michael looked around but still saw people holding their umbrellas close to them and saw rain bouncing off the gray umbrellas. Michael put his hand out and closed him umbrella. No rain landed on his pale hand. Michael lifted his head and saw Spirit was soaking wet. Michael looked in front of him and saw someone with a blue scarf and a worried face. He didn't seem to be getting wet either.

Michael soon noticed that it started to rain again.

Michael (talking to self): Darn, I must have accidentally made a wrong turn and left Section Ten... looks like I'm in Section Eight.

Michael and Spirit marched on and eventually made it out of Section eight and started heading for Section Nine. The rain kept pouring nonstop. Spirit seemed to enjoy it though.

As Michael walked further into the city, he realized that he made a wrong turn. The city of Amaya was like a giant maze, a labyrinth. Michael picked up his cat, Spirit, and looked around.

Michael (whispering): Taru will kill me for sure if I turn up late... but then again I have no idea where I am...

Spirit stared at Michael with his big red eyes and purred softly trying to comfort him.

Michael (whispering) Good cat...

Soon Michael and Spirit could see the lights shining off the buildings. Amaya was mostly known for its bright lights and its rain. As you got further in the city though the rain would cease. The rulers made sure that it didn't rain in the central of the city, the most busiest part. Michael and Spirit continued to dodge people hurrying along the walkways. The people in the central of the city were mostly wealthy people, but sometimes commoners, such as Michael, would be placed there if there was no room in other parts of the city.
