moon 11 - part 1

dampfade wanders the forest alone, looking for some herbs sealake sent her to find. he described them in vivid detail, however she was never good at that medicine cat stuff. while searching, a strange scent reachers her nose. it smells like a mix of wet dog and mud. just as she pin-points where the smell is coming from, the leaves rustle and out jumps a rogue. the smell gets stronger and she finds it funny that a cat who looks like mud also has a scent like it. he introduces himself as noodle and after some funny witty comments, all which make dampfade laugh, the two head back to quailclan camp. siltstar later names him mudleap.

berrypelt and mothaster were sent on patrol together. the two haven’t talked much, but they hit it off instantly and talk clan drama as the patrol the border. up ahead lays a thunderpath and when the two get closer, they hear the distressed mewls of an injured cat. upon closer inspection, a large, rough looking tom is limping along the side of the path, his fur standing on end and a pungent scent of fear clouds the air. the two hesitantly approach him, berrypelt reeking of concern and mothaster just being cautious. the grumpy, injure tom stops when they reach a respectable distance and lets out low growls. mothaster takes pity on him and remembers when duckfur brought her back to the clan when she needed help. she offers the same olive branch to him and surprisingly, he takes it. on the way back, he introduces himself as jaggeddrift, and after being tended to by the medicine cat he decides to stick around for a bit for the easy food. but of course, he would never admit to having grown to like the camp.



there was another kitty pet the patrol found but my game didn’t save so im not worried about marking her down ;0; plus her name was just the letter “L”???

siltstar takes violetpaw as an apprentice !!
the little tom was so happy to have her as their mentor, but then immediately disliked the rules ;0;

This chapter doesn't actually take place on Faatasi, I wanted to iron out some of the end-game details before getting to the world-building (quite literally in this setting). Star will be the main character for this part but perspective will likely shift among the other players if need be.

Moon 23; Oatfur asissts a disgraced deputy, Shadowdaisy, back to camp after finding her wounded by the border. She seems in good spirits despite recent events, and shares stories with Knox and later Woodshade and her kit Slatekit while recovering in the medicine cat den.

While out patrolling kestrel, russetback and fernswoop found a kittypet that wanted to join the clan

moon 11

siltstar lost her first life to greencough. she now has 8 lives left.

ever since his warrior ceremony, violetgrass has felt off. one night, star clan sends a dream his way. the dream starts off in the sky, with a yellow and orange bird gliding in between the clouds. his mind supplied that the bird is a canary. he watched as it got lower to the ground, letting him see his clan below. however, the forest was twisted and wrong, the trees that used to be lush with leaves now dead and diseased. the bird grew in size, its claws digging into the ground around the clans camp. the canary’s massive wings heaved not only itself but also the camp into the sky. violetgrass watch as the bird flew the camp further and further away, but before he could see where it went he woke up. violetgrass rushed to siltstar to tell her his dream, trying to explain it to the best of his abilities. he also told her how he hasn’t felt right with his name. “i- i think the dream means something. i’m not sure what yet, but i don’t think im supposed to be called violetgrass. i want to be called canaryclaw, please. if thats allowed?”

a few days later, siltstar calls the clan to gather. blazelight’s kits were now old enough to be apprentices, and venturepaw had completed his training. lightkit claimed to have been having strange dreams, with starry cats and old clan mates. because of this, the timid medcat, sealake, decided to take him in as an apprentice. windwhisker had been complaining about not having an apprentice to train, so siltstar caved and decided bushkit would be his best bet. when it was venturepaws turn to gain her warrior name, the leader hesitated. while venturepaw showed herself to be a good warrior, she was better at talking to the other clans then fighting. siltstar decided her name would just be venture, due to her explorative personality and great social skills. venture was a little bit salty at not gaining a true warrior name, but didn’t question her leaders choices. she and canaryclaw were to stand vigil at night, since the bengal had chosen a different warrior name he was to pay his respects to his clan again.

mothaster disappeared for a few days, and when she appeared again not only did she have a gnarly scar across her right eye, but she also had three kits in tow. the clan suspected them to be hers from a mate in her previous clan, but she refused to tell the clan were exactly she got them. she did say that a badger gave her the scar though.

while blazelight watch the training of his two kits, he realized that it was time to move on. it had been 6 moons since hickoryfire s death, and while he would always love his past mate, he was ready to start anew.



theres two other events that happened this moon id like to draw, but ill do that in a bit. canaryclaw needed a reason for a name change plus i wanted to start an actual story, but i have no idea where im going with this lmao,,

Clan Events :

While on a morning patrol for herbs, Birdwhisker and Floodfur come across a loner who asks to join their clan. They escort the loner back to camp where they are accepted into the clan and given the name Fadingwhisker.


While on a evening patrol, Leapstar, Floodfur, Snailsight, and Snappaw ran into a patrol from a nearby clan. Thankfully there was no conflict and both patrols continued on their own territories after talking things out.

Snappaw has completed her apprenticeship training and was given her warrior name, Snaplake!


Plumkit, Duckkit, and Lionkit have all began their apprenticeship training!
They are now known as Plumpaw, Duckpaw, and Lionpaw.

Duckpaw is to be mentored by Snailsight
Lionpaw is to be mentored by Fadingwhisker

[sidenote i blundered the timeline a bit, it should go like this: part 1, part 2, [THIS POST PART 3], part 4 & continue like normal from there :.3]

Mistclaw was rather old when he took on the position of deputy, and was quick to retire when his body told him to quit. He had a suprising sense of self-preservation, and wouldn't push himself onward when he couldn't, even if it meant that it would throw Arcstar into a wild scramble for a new deputy. This plus the general clan responsiblities made it so Arcstar ended up neglecting to visit Ravenface in the elder's den.

Ravenface had wanted to wait for the leader to come find him again, where they could share a romantic confession or partake in the numerous fantasies Ravenface had always occupied himself with. But the reality of the leader's stubborness was starting to strike him, and in his frustration, he complains to Mistclaw when the two are alone in the elders den. Ravenface was always flirtatous, and couldn't resist the mysterious old cat. To his delight, Mistclaw was quite sweet and understanding, and the two would bond with eachother quickly.

a little respite from the drama to celebrate Sweet Creature's kits! they were born from a mother in another clan who couldn't care for them, and Sweet Creature was happy to accept them as her own! :3 meet Ripplekit, Turtlekit & Finkit (left 2 right in top drawfing)

Sweet Creature's never really finds herself in all of the clan drama that's always going down, she's just simply a good warrior doing her best and i love her sm :3

After the death of the deputy, Kestrelspeckle, the clan needed that void to be filled. The clan was still small, and there weren't many options. Arcstar knew there was only one option. A warrior who was always friendly and ready for adventure, always bringing cheer and motivation to the clan. But not just that, Arcstar's dedication to his work as leader had left him quite lacking in relationships with the other clans, he didnt really know much of the younger cats, and couldn't risk appointing an incompetent of malicious cat...

but he did know Stagspeckle.

He was shocked at the idea, despite his knack for socializing, the warrior never expected to find himself in this role. He was...scared to say the least, this was so much pressure... but he had to. There wasn't any other choice...He combed through his clanmates in his head, and sure enough, none of them had the traits of a leader. Except for him...

And so, Stagspeckle became deputy. He quickly realized that it was far too much for him... he didn't like ordering around his friends, he didn't like the pressure, he didn't like how one wrong choice could send the clan reeling... It was crushing him. Day by day he could feel the stress eating away inside of him...
