Wind Reapers are a species of dragon that inhabit high ground, most
commonly seen on mountain peaks. Their long, thin body allows them to
maneuver steep slopes and jagged cliffs with ease. With their strong back
legs, they can easily climb trees and make amazing leaps. Although they
are unable to fly, their light body weight allows them to glide, with help
from their high jumps and long tails. Their tails are very flexible, helping
them climb and glide.
Despite their appearance, most Reapers are relatively timid and shy. They
are loners, however occasionally enjoy a friends company. They mate for
life due to their lack of trust for others, and can live for up to 30 years.

The community is based around rewarding owners for roleplaying, artwork,
writing, and participating in the Cliff Racing event. Through these
activities, you can earn various vouchers to use for MYOs, Breeding and
For traits to be added to your already existing Wind Reaper.

CARVE A PUMPKIN

Each year, Wind Reapers across the world will make the journey to the Enchanted Pumpkin patch to select a pumpkin for their home. These pumpkins will ward off Jack and his dark magic for a single year, also granting the wind reaper who holds it a special magic if it is well taken care of. These pumpkins will only last a single year, so the journey must be made annually to continue protecting their homes.

Once selected, the Wind Reapers will return home for the carving, since the pumpkin's magic is only activated once it is carved. The magic can only cover a small area, so most wind reapers place it where they sleep to protect their dreams at night from Jackleon all year. They also do not want to move it, as they can get pretty big, so once it's in a place and carved it tends to stay there all year.

To carve a Pumpkin, you must first visit the Pumpkin Carving Event Oekaki and ask to be added. This particular event does not require you to own a wind reaper, but at least apply for one. If you link to your application, you can get access to this oekaki for carving.

Next, you can submit your carved pumpkin to our Community Pumpkin Patch where you will be entered into raffles for special items like Vouchers, Magic Vouchers, and even the chance to get a special MYO Wind Reaper from this event that will have Magic! You can only submit one pumpkin to the patch, so keep that in mind when deciding which pumpkin carving you would like to add.

Once you have decided, simply post a reply to this event thread with the link to your transparent background submission. To make the background transparent, simply hide the "BG" folder. Staff can take it from there! If you are having trouble with your carving, add Tatangi to your Oekaki for color-ins and reach out to her for help.

When it comes to the prizes, you can increase your chances by taking care of your pumpkin. You can do this in more than one way and do it more than once to guarantee a prize! We want to make sure everyone has a chance to do something, so check out the following list of things you can post under you pumpkin carving to increase your prize drop chances!

Doing 4 of the above will give you a prize. For every 4 you complete, you will get another prize! That's a total of three prizes you are guaranteed if you complete all the tasks and post them under your pumpkin patch pumpkin. For those who do complete all the tasks before the end of the event, there will be a special prize of a Magic Voucher, which can be redeemed for any Wind Reaper you own.
