hello :3c i have not used chicken paint in a While soo i figured i would draw, this guy, not sure how the shirt ended up ourple to be honest. chicken smoothe pen tool is so good for doing hair and fluff i think, i ususlly use a pixelated pen so its differnt :3
i think my tablet pen is breaking </3 its old so makes sense, keeps doingnthis little clicky thingy when i press on jt which it didnt do before. very sad. anyways yes here is The guy

I thought torties were only female but learned there’s male ones and apparently, unlike male calicos, apparently male torties aren’t sterile. Well, I heard or read that somewhere but it may not be true.

HELLO I KNOW ABOUT THIS!! I don't know if you'll even see this explanation but it's time for me to ramble!!

So actually, both male torties and male calicos are (almost always) sterile! How it works:

Torties and calicos are almost always female for the same reason: the color red (which is the genetic term for orange in cats) is linked to the X chromosome.
This means that in order to have both red AND a non-red color (black, gray, brown, etc. white doesn't count here because it's the lack of pigment and not a non-red pigment), a cat generally has to have two X chromosomes - one coding for red, XO, and one coding for non-red, Xo (genetically XO/Xo). A tortie is any cat that is XO/Xo, and "calico" is a colloquial term for torties with white - XO/Xo + Ws/w or Ws/Ws.

With that out of the way, there are two main ways a calico/tortie can be male: either they have an extra X chromosome and are XXY (called klinefelter syndrome, technically intersex, almost always infertile), or they are a chimera (two embryos fused into one; chimeras don't always look like torties/calicos and don't always "present" as male, but sometimes they do! also, that whole "split-face marking = chimera" isn't true lol. sometimes sterile, sometimes not!).

I'm so glad you like it!

I don't think there's a way to make it transparent (I'm not very knowledgeable about oekaki either ) but you could click the 'color me in' button and edit the white layer to make to background what you wish
