With a heavy heart, I've decided to put my lovely strawberry babe Bliss up for readoption.
As much as I love her design, I was never able to really come up with a great character for her.
So instead, I'd like to find her a new home where she can get the love and attention I've been trying to give her for so long!

The thing is, I don't have a ton of time right now, so I'm going to be a little picky about how this will go. I'm not trying to be rude about anything, or make it difficult. Please understand that the rules I'm making are all for a reason for my own sake.

I spent a lot of money on the breeding she came from,
you can spend a few minutes reading these rules.

Rules:

- NO RESERVING POSTS! You can edit your forms as much as you'd like, but do not post here until you have something that could be judged. I don't really like having to sort through pages of "res!" posts and posts with like 3 sentences about the character to try to find actual forms or decide if what you posted is something you actually want judged. You will be disqualified if you post a "res" post. Bookmark the topic if you want to save it!
If you do post a res post but catch it fast enough to delete it, you're fine. I just don't want them clogging up the thread. If it's gone, it's gone, no questions asked.

- Try to avoid PMing me questions. I'm making this an open prompt so that it's easier for me since readoptions become really time consuming when I get a lot of questions. If you want to know if you can do something in your form, as long as it follows CS rules, the answer is yes, sure, go for it! :)

- Do not mini-mod. If someone posts a res post and you notice, PM them to help them get it removed, not me. I don't need to know as long as it gets handled. I'll keep an eye on the thread, so I can keep track of things myself.

This contest is an open prompt!
Basically it's an "unlimited impress me" contest but personally I don't like that wording since it seems… like not what I want.
Rather - think of it as a chance to have the freedom to do whatever you want with the character.

Please note that the most important factor in my judging is character development.
If I read a 5,000 word story and by the end I don't feel like I understand who the character is, I won't choose that form.
If a 500 word explanation gets me excited about the character you've created, you could win with that.
Time/effort does not necessarily equal good character development
Focus on development most of all!

oh, you might be fooled by her wide innocent eyes and gentle voice, but be warned - this kal is a killer. a special agent for a mysterious government sector since she was plucked from the ranks at a young age, she lives and breathes deception. even her name isn't her own - a word plucked from a makeup advertisement, just another way she covers up.
since finishing her training, a high-calibre course which only a few entrants survived, she's been from country to country, infiltrating secret groups and getting dangerously close to some of the richest and most corrupt people living. her record is impeccable - not one mission flunked, never so much as a break in character. she's never been caught, and so it seems she's gained a name for herself - the killer angel.

the gentle whisper of wing feathers in flight. the soft scuff of paws touching down
on stone. otherwise, there is no other sound as the pink kalon lands on the rooftop,
her pale hair tied up neatly and a harness around her shoulders. strapped between
her wings is a small parcel in a zipped up case, as innocuous as a camera and half
as heavy. with an incredible delicacy, agent seventeen unzips the case and takes
out a device that, from the timer on its side and the wires that loop around it, is
clearly designed to explode. she presses the three buttons on the device in a
complex combination, and the timer lights up with a small beep. she has thirty
seconds.
beep. moving with a rapid but cautious grace, she holds the bomb in her mouth
and spools out the harness on her chest.
beep. she walks to the edge of the building and keeps going, suspended in the
air by the thin wire, her wings spread wide to balance her.
beep. for a moment she is silhouetted against the glass panels of a window, the
setting sun illuminating every feather salmon-pink.

the accident; when vicky was a kid, around about fourteen, she was the victim of a rather horrific accident. a house fire, to be exact. a silly mistake with an unmonitored oven that lead to her entire home being burnt to near ashes. she downright refuses to discuss it, but she lost her father that night. both she and her mother managed to escape with fairly minor burns, but her father didn't quite make it out in time. for almost a year after it happened, vicky couldn't leave the house. not because she was physically incapable, she just refused; she can tell you now that it was definitely out of fear of something bad happening. she could never really explain it. hardly even spoke. she just couldn't shake this feeling of dread that something awful would happen if she set foot outside. it wasn't until early 2010 that she finally began to open up about what was going on inside her head.

getting support; a little after vicky's nineteenth birthday, her mother first posed the question- well, it wasn't the first time she'd suggested it, but it was the first time vicky actually listened. her mother asked her if she would consider group therapy. she'd been seeing a private psychiatrist since the accident, but it didn't seem to be doing much in the way of improving her anxiety. still completely housebound, vicky was incredibly reluctant. she took days upon days mulling over the thought, until finally agreeing. that was only half of the battle, though. for she was very, very aware of the fact that in order to attend these sessions, she would have to leave the house. it took a long time, but eventually she was able to walk to the car without suffering from too extreme of a panic. and so it was time for her to start group therapy. for the first few sessions, she hated it. oh boy, did she loathe it. once a week, hurrying and trembling into the car, only to be driven to some building where she had to discuss her most private thoughts and feelings. a few months in, however, things began to brighten. surprise surprise, she met a girl. for once, crippling fear wasn't the centre of her world. it was this girl.

music; the girl in question happened to have been suffering from something similar to vicky. however, she had managed to overcome her paranoia much sooner, due to it being less severe. she tried everything in her power to help vicky, but it seemed impossible. she was always distant, as if she was locked away in her thoughts. that was, however, until the girl suggested she tried music. she'd never shown huge interest in it before, but this girl seemed so keen on it, so she was willing to try it. believe it or not, it worked really well. she found herself venting her problems through her music, making them feel much easier to manage.

romance; WIP. 2015, she finally asks the girl out. it takes a while, but soon they begin dating. by this point, vicky has become much more confident.

'fame'; WIP. she wouldn't really call it that. she became a minor celebrity, if anything. after uploading a few videos of her songs to youtube, they began gaining interest. by the end of the year, she had a few thousand fans. the group remained roughly the same size after that, a few joining as a few other left.

now; WIP. she maintains a fulltime job in the outside world whilst balancing her musical career. she still can't quite bring herself to arrange a proper live show out of fear that it will go terribly wrong, but she streams herself playing for her fans when she can. she's still with her girlfriend, the two are as close as ever.

Angelica is an online personality, starting on Instagram with her account "Blissfully_Unaware" and she quickly became popular by reposting tweets from Twitter and posts from Tumblr. Outside of her fame and with her friends she has a dark sense of humor but does make up for it when she reads out the next post she wants to put onto her account, usually being the one in the group to make her friends smile in one way or another.
With her recent grow in popularity she started posting more about herself and her life as a whole, eventually making it onto YouTube to talk about her life and her friends. Then Angelica found Alternate Reality Games on Twitter and began reading them on her YouTube channel, gaining followers from the side of the platform that enjoyed creepy things. Angelica now dedicates her Instagram to her followers that like the funny text-posts and the occasional personal update, and her YouTube to those who want to listen to a good creepy story if they can't sleep since Angelica is both of those kinds of people.

Now this update is going to be short since we don't have a lot on the Dear David situation at the moment, but I will give my theories and read out some of your guys' theories that you have sent me on Instagram..."

Angelica was born to be an entertainer and she was one from a young age, she often joked around with her friends and parents, never failing to make them laugh. She is a pretty positive person until you get to the side of her that looks to Reddit No Sleep when she's tired and her true sense of humor is quite dark, enjoying movies like Heathers because of the fact it is a Dark Comedy. Though because of her "rise" to fame Angelica has lost a lot of friends, since they only wanted her as a friend so they could be known as "Blissfully_Unaware's Best Friend" yet one friend has managed to stay true, her best friend Zoria, a young aspiring Voice Actress who often comes onto Angelica's channel to help out with stories and give the characters in them voices instead of just Angelica's.

In summary Angelica is an online personality that started on Instagram and moved to YouTube, she has a dark sense of humor and isn't afraid to show her love of scary stories on her YouTube but keeps her Instagram to it's happy and funny text-post theme that it started as. Sadly though Angelica has dropped many of her friends because of the fact they only wanted to be her friend because she was growing in popularity, yet one friend managed to stay true and is Angelica's partner in crime.

Flamestrike

Flamestrike was born as Flame to a rogue she-cat, who he lived with through his kithood. During this time, despite his young age, he learned how to defend himself against enemies, and fill his hungry belly.
Because of his short temper, Flamestrike hated having to patiently wait for such a long time while hunting. When he finally was able to catch prey, he had a habit of dispatching it roughly, after becoming irritated with the wait.
Fighting was something Flamestrike enjoyed, though. He had a natural talent, and he practiced often on his two siblings, and anything else who stood in his way.
Flamestrike had to be fast because he knew that if he messed up in a fight he would be killed, and there was no one but himself, and his mother to save him.
He was around 7 moons or so when he discovered the clan. It happened when he found the border, and heard cats screeching. Being Flamestrike, he decided to investigate, watching the cats tumble as clumps of fur littered the ground. The interested tom watched the end of the fight, in which the clan cats had won, and admired their strength.
It wasnt long after, that he decided he would talk to them. Impressed with his talents, they offered to train him as a warrior, and he accepted it willingly, leaving his rogue family behind.
Many seasons later, after living a long productive life as an honorable warrior, he is now an elder, and tells his story to the younger cats in hope that they remember to always give everyone a chance.
