The Ritual

It was almost time. The moon was Blood red, larger than the fullest moon, and midnight was minutes away. He collected everything he needed for the ritual. He bounced a little in excitement, "Ah, I can't wait, I will finally get a new friend.." He stops as he opens the door and looks at his mother and father's photo. "I miss y'all.." He whispers to the picture, and then he was out the door and running into the woods. As he emerges from the woods into the clearing, he immediately gets to work on setting up the bon fire in the middle of his five pointed star. He then places his offerings on each point, a freshly killed fox, a tray of blackberry Cobbler, a golden time watch, a lucky rabbits foot, and a picture of him and his family. He walks to the middle of the star where the bon fire was. He then begins to chant, "A beast of gentle flames, and a hoarder of stole goods. Follow the fox, swift and sly as can be, follow him along the trail of treats... Follow him home, to faded lives, and a boy who cries. As a rabbits foot brings luck, may you bring an end to my loneliness, so we may be united for all of eternity. " He then lights a match and throws it into the bon fire, which instantly catches fire, but the fire isn't raging like he thought it would. Instead, it seemed to be a calm, tamed, lonely fire that burned. Suddenly there was a light, and a beast from the hellish world steps through the flames. " Human.." it mutters to him, " What do you seek from me..?" He looks at the beast, then at the ground, " I-I I wish for a friend.., someone to be with me, and love me like my mother and father did.."The beast studies the boy quietly." Very well child, I shall stay with you. To be honest.. I too, wish for a friend." The beast walks up to the boy and nuzzles his hand. He yelps in pain at the beasts touch, he looks at his hand and sees a marking on his palm. " We are bound.. forever and always." The beast mummers. Once the pain faded, the boy reached out again and touched the beasts fur, it didn't burn him this time. He studies the beast quietly for a moment then says," Jamey.. I shall call you Jamey.." The beast nods, " so be it." The beast says back. The boy and the beast turn as one and walk out of the woods.. They haven't been seen since.

What are Quetzotalus?:
Quetzolatus are a specialized species of raptor. They are mostly bird-like, though possess some feline qualities. Their heads, for instance, are very similar to cheetahs, and they have a long, flexible tail. Most of their bodies are covered in a plush, silken fur, with feathers sprouting out along their spines, legs, and tail. Their bones are light and hollow, though are relatively strong despite this. Quetzotalus are strong fliers, as well. Their broad wings also act as forelimbs, small dexterous hands attached to them. They use these to crawl along the forest floors, grip to limbs, sometimes climb, and hold onto prey. Their legs are strong, their feet having three toes each. Two of the toes are shorter, with smaller talons for gripping. The third is a large, sharp talon used for delivering devastating kicks. These raptors live mostly in forests and jungles, and generally reach a maximum height of 6 feet at the top of their heads. Some, however, never grow much larger than their juvenile stage. Quetzotalus males and females are virtually indistinguishable. The only difference between the two is the amount of feathers on their heads. Males have an additional crest on their heads. The species as a whole generally has bright, vivid markings and patterns.

What's the different between the original Gasnites and these Geno2 ones?
Well just like the original Gasnites they were created in a lab. But unlike the first ones these were created out of boredom. By using the genes that they used for the originals, they created a bigger and more complex Gasnites. Unlike the original ones these guys can grow up to a size of a full grown horse or bigger. A full grown one has massive strong, so say that you need a ride somewhere they can practically carry you there. Actually they are used from getting to one places to another sometimes. Geno2's have sharp teeth that can rip through anything, even metal. They mostly like to eat meat but some likes to eat other stuff. They have a strong smell system and can run up to 68 - 75 mph, that's as fast as a cheetah.
