Where is she from?: Kioka is from space of course, near Saturn to be specific. Kioka is from one of Saturn's many moons, her moon happens to be Mimas. Mimas is full of craters and is mainly made up of water and ice. Kioka can survive these intense temperatures and conditions. She is able to go from planet to planet, so she can go to earth if that's what she wants to do!

Where is she from?:
Many puzzle with such question, but very few know the truth. Qi'ra, while she may often wander amongst the Nine Realms, can only call home the realm of the gods, Seuvis. Despite Seuvis marking her birth, or as more proper for the gods, creation, Qi'ra does not consider it to be her home. If pressed, she would venture that she doesn't have a home, as, after all, home is not necessarily a place, home is where your heart is, home is those you love.

Likes:
Traveling- Qi'ra likes traveling, at least, she has grown to like it as when one travels, one does not have to worry about impressions or those around them
Roetians- Qi'ra finds the Roetians to be interesting, they know not who she is so when she is among them, there is no pressure or expectation, plus they are powerless creatures so there really is no fear of threat from them
Gatunians- Qi'ra is quite fond of the Gatunians, they certainly know how to throw a party and never make you feel small
Loki- While she won't admit it, Qi'ra grew up with the trickster known as Loki, the two having an on-again, off-again relationship up until her sudden departure from Seuvis since which she has not spoken to him, leaving the relationship as a bit of a mystery

Dislikes:
Seuvis- Qi'ra was a fan of the realm once, but that was a long time ago, much having occurred since then so as to change her fondness into a dislike
Vophus- Like most, Qi'ra is wary towards the realm of the dead and its unfortunate ruler
Tuiter- Qi'ra has only set foot in this realm once, and it was bad enough for her to never wish to return

What are Quetzotalus?:
Quetzolatus are a specialized species of raptor. They are mostly bird-like, though possess some feline qualities. Their heads, for instance, are very similar to cheetahs, and they have a long, flexible tail. Most of their bodies are covered in a plush, silken fur, with feathers sprouting out along their spines, legs, and tail. Their bones are light and hollow, though are relatively strong despite this. Quetzotalus are strong fliers, as well. Their broad wings also act as forelimbs, small dexterous hands attached to them. They use these to crawl along the forest floors, grip to limbs, sometimes climb, and hold onto prey. Their legs are strong, their feet having three toes each. Two of the toes are shorter, with smaller talons for gripping. The third is a large, sharp talon used for delivering devastating kicks. These raptors live mostly in forests and jungles, and generally reach a maximum height of 6 feet at the top of their heads. Some, however, never grow much larger than their juvenile stage. Quetzotalus males and females are virtually indistinguishable. The only difference between the two is the amount of feathers on their heads. Males have an additional crest on their heads. The species as a whole generally has bright, vivid markings and patterns.

" Reshan"

The female Quetzolatus shifted slightly, upon hearing her name being spoken. Releasing an annoyed grunt, once she realised who was calling her. Fierce amber eyes slowly opening, as she stared at the metal wall in front of her. Her pupils focusing on the faint scratch marks, that littered the surface. However, she refused to move any further. Not that she had much of a choice anyway, considering her current circumstance.

" Reshan? Reshan I know your awake!"

The tiger striped female released a low annoyed hiss. Slowly lifting her head up, so she can peer over her shoulder. Her head just brushing against the metallic ceiling, as she stared at the metal door behind her. Grumbling under her breath, she then shifted around to the best of her ability. Silently cursing the humans for placing her in the cramped space. Considering that she barely had enough room to move about, without her wings getting further damaged. Once she had righted herself, she then peered from the small gap within the door. Amber eyes meeting a vibrant green across the room." What is it, Mako?", she asked.

Although, she could only see his eyes, due to the males own metal door. She could still sense the smile, that was surely making its way on the macaw coloured Quetzolatus's face." They brought in a new one, young by the looks of her, seems to resemble a blue jay", Mako replied. Frowning, Reshan simply shook her head. Of course the humans would catch another. It was in their nature, to make themselves feel superior. Something she knew all too well, as she glanced at her bandaged wing. Narrowing her pupils, she then returned to her original spot at the door." Do you know on whether or not they'll toss her into the ring?", she asked.

The 'ring', was a place all Quetzolatus's dreaded. It was where your were forced to fight against your own kind. A place that felt more like a death sentence, than anything else. While the humans would watch from above, placing down bets on who would win. Even Reshan herself had been thrown into the ring. Barely making it out alive, with a few scrapes and a broken wing. Although, it was better than the alternative. Especially when it came to the dreaded 'pit'. Even thinking about it, made her shudder.

" I don't think so, with fur and feathers like hers, I think they'll sell her off to the highest bidder", the male replied. That was the other thing. If you weren't thrown to the ring, you were sold off for your unique colouring and patterns. Mako was one of those examples. For his type of Quetzolatus were strongly sought after, therefore making him highly valuable within the black market. After all, who wouldn't want an exotic creature that resembled a macaw?

The reason why Reshan, herself, wasn't placed amongst the lucky few? Her fierce appearance. A tiger looking Quetzolatus was definitely bound to bring in more business for the ring. Especially when it proves to be a more than decent fighter. The reason she hasn't yet gone insane? Mako. He was her only source of hope and light. Yes, he was annoying, and was a little bit too optimistic for her liking. But he kept her distracted. Kept her from drowning in her guilt, and helped her push through the tougher times. He even managed to get her to laugh once. Although, while she may never admit it, she will miss him when he is finally sold off.

" Well, hopefully, she won't have to suffer here for long", she murmured. Offering a small half smile, despite knowing the male won't be able to see it. She then turned back around, and headed back to her original spot on the ground. Wincing as her bandaged wing scraped against one of the metal walls. Before resting her head on the cold metal floor. Glancing hesitantly back at the door, before coming to a decision." Night, Mako", she murmured. Her eyes slowly beginning to close, as she listened to the silence around her. The last thing she remembered hearing, before sleep final took over. Was Mako's voice.

Blue ears would twitch ever so slightly, as the young Quetzotalus listened to her surroundings. Cautiously moving, as icy sky blue eyes watched the foliage around her." Tal? Tal! You can come out now!, you won!", she called out. The young female quickly whipped around, the moment she heard movement behind her. Well, as fast as she could go, without tripping over her own tail and wings. Only for ears to flatten slightly against her head, upon seeing nothing but empty space. Causing both her fur and feathers to slightly stand on end, as she slowly began to back up into a nearby tree." Tal! This isn't funny anymore!", she added. Before nervously glancing upwards, when she heard rustling from the branches above.

The silence immediately being broken by a frightened screech, when a greyish blue blur dropped down on the unsuspecting Quetzotalus. Quickly followed by laughter." You should have seen your face, Jayla!", a male voice said. Before the weight that was on her back shifted, allowing the young female to get up. Jayla could only glare at her brother, as he continued to laugh." That wasn't funny Tal! You nearly gave me a hear attack! Besides you know what mother said about leaving the nest!", she snapped. Both her and Tal had came from the same clutch, and were the only offspring of Lina and Koron. Although, neither of the siblings had bothered to ask about their late father. Due to how negatively their mother spoke of him.

" And? We're still within the territory, besides what mother doesn't know won't hurt us", Tal replied. Smiling reassuringly at the blue Quetzotalus, as he began to move past her. Only to freeze in his step when the sound of heavy wings grey near. Immediately rushing back to his sisters side, and ducked behind her. Much to Jayla's both annoyance and amusement. Before glancing upwards towards the sound, only to be met with familiar blue and black feathers." Mum!", she called out. Smiling slightly as the older Quetzotalus landed in front of them. Only for her smile to quickly disappear, upon seeing the unimpressed look on her face.

" Tal! Jayla! Where have you two been? I've been searching everywhere for you!, and when I heard Jayla's screech, I feared the worst!", she said. Her pupils narrowing slightly, as both Jayla and Tal ducked their heads. Refusing to meet their mother's harsh gaze. It wasn't the first time that the two had done this, and it always ended the same. While they were no longer the helpless hatchlings, who barely survived through both the elements and starvation. They were still six months old. Still capable of being either injured or killed. Meaning that they should have known better, than to try and sneak out on their own.

" Sorry mother", both siblings replied simultaneously. Jayla being the first to meet their mother's gaze, her ears flat against her head as she stared apologetically at their mother. While Tal continued to stare shamefully at the ground. Lina released a frustrated sigh, before moving towards them. Gently nudging back in the direction of their nest." It's alright, but don't ever do that again, do you he-", she began, only to cut herself off. Quickly lifting her head up, upon hearing a twig snap close by. Amber eyes focusing on where the sound had came from as a familiar, yet dangerous, scent reached her nose.

Jayla glanced at her mother in confusion, upon noticing her sudden silence. Only to shrink back upon hearing a low threatening hiss escape her throat." Mum? What's wro-", she began to ask. Quickly falling silent, when her mother moved her tail in front of her. Effectively silencing her. Tal simply met his sister's gaze, just as confused as she was. Only then did they catch the alarming scent. The scent of pain and death. To say that the creatures that emerged from the foliage, were strange looking would be an understatement. They were something the siblings had never ever seen before. But whatever they were, they didn't want to stick around to find out.

" Run", Lina hissed. Catching her children off guard, and snapping them out of their daze. Both siblings looked as if they wanted to argue, and insist on staying. Snarling, their mother bared her teeth at them." RUN!", she yelled. Jayla didn't need to be told again. Neither did Tal. Both siblings quickly took off in separate directions. Running as fast as they could on two legs. Jayla silently cursed, as her wings kept getting tangled up within the jungle vines. Before quickly ducking into a nearby bush to catch her breath. Her heart being the only sound she could hear, as she tried to control her breathing.

Only to jump upon hearing a loud bang. Something that seemed to echo throughout the jungle, and disturb every living creature that had heard it. By now Jayla could hardly think, as her fear began to take control. Were her mother and brother alright? What was that bang?. These were questions she didn't have the answers for. Without thinking she slowly began to back up. Only to then release a frightened screech, when something snagged one of her legs and lifted her upwards. Her world falling into darkness, the moment some type of fabric wrapped around her. The last thing she could remember hearing before she blacked out, was her brother calling out to her from somewhere nearby.

Story: Atari has always had a fierce personality. She comes off as rude and inconsiderate most of the time. She is very competitive and hates feeling inferior. She is definitely not a Quetzotalus you want to get angry. Though she is tough and pretends not to care on the outside, she is incredibly anxious and cares "too much" on the inside. If you are lucky enough to create a friendship with her, she will hold you higher than anything and always want to protect you.
