Personality:
Ray is a certified wild-child. Though she was initially a shy and bumbling little pup, she quickly grew into a rowdy individual while raised in the backcountry. Her constant activity translated into high amounts of energy, and before long there wasn’t much that could stop her once she kept going. She adores outstripping other dogs when it comes to stamina, and she’s no stranger to lording her athletic prowess over other dogs— especially those who think they’re the next agility show champion. She’s wily as well; she despises being restrained and prides herself on being a leash escape artist, but she’s more than content with trotting by her master’s side so long as they don’t make a move for her leash. At that point, she’s off like a bullet.
However, her bouncy persona doesn’t make for a sweet female. She’s never afraid to speak her mind nowadays, and though she’s fun-loving and the first to initiate play, she’s known to be bullish and selfish when it comes to getting her way, and devious when she’s plotting with like-minded dogs. Being eventually abandoned definitely didn’t help matters; Once her owner developed chronic joint pain and had to give Ray up to a more active owner, she became bitter and just a touch vindictive when dealing with other dogs. When annoyed or angry, she’s also prone to pushing her weight around and making her stubbornness stubborn, so nowadays she truly only listens to the most dominant demeanors. She readily respects authority, but now she’s also quick to test it. She’ll definitely keep any owner or dog on their toes.

Now THIS guy- as opposed to my last, who was short= is really tall.
(as seen in the mini diagram)

He's swift and made for running and kinda scrawny/skinny too.
They have very short and fine Fur as well.

puns. oh, god, such awful puns. jasper has a crude, but rapid-fire sense of humour, which he uses to diffuse awkwardness or to conceal his nerves, usually before a big race.

when he's frustrated or has been cooped up for a long time, jasper can get snappy and aggressive. because of this, he is not good at being part of a team, meaning that the solitary sport of long-distance running suits him well.
quick history;
zack has always turned to running as an escape from loud noises, awkward situations or really, really annoying people, so it was a surprise when he was actually recruited for a local running team. since then, he has moved from local to regional to national competitions, and is pretty damn good at it. he finds it relaxing, and is usually much calmer after going for a run.
do they value their height or hate it?:
it's useful for getting things off high shelves but it would be nice if people stopped mentioning it. he also suffers from claustrophobia, so finds his height awkward in enclosed spaces. however, he does have a certain agility gained from his active nature, so doesn't usually hit his head on or knock over things. like i do

The way the moon illuminated her eyes as she looks into it is her favorite thing, no doubts about it. Not only the scenery pleases her, but also the silence. Much preferring solitude over loud parties and such of the day, she loves staying up into the wee hours of the night to reach the quiet time they bring to her.

They can have a wide variety of markings and colors, some even have horns. While exploring deep underground caves, some say you can find rare breeds of Avari that have made their homes in the dark caverns. These can be found with strange glowing tendrils and eyes, and tend to be skittish. Avari aren't generally aggressive unless backed into a corner. Wounded Avari will call for help, alerting any other direwolves to the danger. Though not an easy task, an Avari is fiercely loyal once tamed, and as loving as a household dog.
