So I tried doing him in oekaki but there wasn't enough room so I moved into sai but I didn't wanna leave a random half finished thing in my oekaki drawings (there's already too many pft) so I deleted everything and added a cover~

Anyway this is Po Zetian. This is all set in my kal AU but anyway basically the royal family always has a queen take the throne not a king. They even went so far as to be blessed by a witch to always give birth to a female child first, the blessing was along the lines of (haven't worked out the wording yet) the king and the queen shall always pop out a girly first. The one time a queen gave birth to a son first she was kicked off the throne and her sister got it.
Basically the only way for a queen to have a son first is by cheating and that's what this current queen did. When she popped out a boy she went oh crap and ditched him into the woods with only a shoebox containing a couple of toys, a teddy, a blanket and a tag around his neck reading his name Policarpo, but the end got torn off leaving just Po.
He was found by a platypus who took him in, he was raised by an army of beaver ducks who made him king because they saw the crown above his head and went this kids royal. He only understands the platypuses. If another kal ever stumbles across him he won't understand them. It'd be like Tarzan, but better.

Do note;
Mutation aren't always bound to only one or a family tree. It's possible another Grel will carry mutation alike. It'll just look rather different, and be other locations or shapes or sizes. Foals are more likely to look more alike to the parents, while another is completely different. A Grelifcent Mutant can pair with a regular or another grel with mutation. It can be the same mutation or different.
