Alastair may be a fancy gent, but he actually is a very experienced cook. He may not be willing to say that he is around new folks, however. His most famous dish (or sauce) is his Teriyaki sauce, and the very secret ingredient is freshly squeezed pineapple juice! (Maybe that's why he won't tell you.)

Personality: Formerly a very understanding, solitary, and shy Moth Pixie, after the 'incident', Abnus became more of an example of anxiety and self-consciousness gone wrong. They don't have much trust for anyone but their owner, though they're still considered a wild Moth Pixie, as they typically stay outside and away from humans. They've been seen trying to tear away their fur or trying to make a fake mane out of leaves made outside, and it's clear that they hate themselves on many levels. They don't seem to love anyone, and seem emotionally shut off except when talking to their owner.

Why are they so sad?: They feel as if everything special about them had been taken away so quickly, all because they had decided to trust their friends. Abnus, when first introduced to the world, was not respected. They were considered worthless, because they could not work without being looked upon with some kind of negativity. They liked not working, they liked being alone, though they always did want to be respected more than before. Their friends told them that drinking a honey they had found would make Abnus able to be respected. Abnus believed them, and they never should have. Everything they felt close to was destroyed. They learned to hate their body, and to refuse to give trust to others who didn't show that they deserved to be trusted. Though they wander on their own to escape their mistake, they pretend that they don't feel their heart break at every word that hits them in the wrong place.

What's with the attitude?:
The attitude is actually more of a defensive measure to keep them from being attacked again. It's mostly held up towards Moth Pixies more than humans, and especially not to their owner, but it's a way that they keep others from getting close enough to manipulate them.

Gaining Trust:

If you are a Moth Pixie trying to get Abnus' trust:
- DO NOT refer to them as 'Adrien' or 'Adrielle'. Adrielle especially will cause a decline in trust.
- DO NOT refer to them as 'cute', 'gorgeous', or 'pretty', INSTEAD, refer to them as 'handsome' or 'sharp'
- DO listen to them if they want you to hear something, refusing to listen is just rude
- DO NOT refer to them with she/her pronouns. I know, it's hard, but please try. Using these pronouns will bring them into discomfort.
- If you cannot be yourself while doing this, stop trying to gain their trust.

If you are a Human trying to get Abnus' trust:
- Go by all of the Moth Pixie Rules
- Always hold Abnus with an OPEN PALM, closing your palm will cause them to panic.
- Allow them to go outside when they want to, do not lock them in the house.
- Allow them to sit in their owner's hand when they need to.
- ABSOLUTELY DO NOT Poke them anywhere, especially the chest or head.
- If they stick out their tongue, don't be afraid to stick your tongue back towards them, it seems to make them laugh.

Reaction to a Human being hospitalized by their Pixies Dust:
Abnus is one who easily panics if he hurts anyone, especially a human as he does wish a lot of the time that he was domestic. Humans being injured by them makes them realize that they're not stable enough to live with a human, and sometimes makes them run off into the wilderness to cry. He does, however, always come back, because as much as he hates hurting humans, he hates being in the wild more.
