Songrems are an ancient species with a shortened nickname of 'Grems'. These large fluffy creatures use their solid exoskeleton-like jaws to crush and and eat their meals, and are adapt to most living environments. All Songrems have holes in their horns that produce a melody, or a certain song when wind is blown through them. Each song is completely unique though some may be similar and many people keep them as pets to listen to their melodies, but also because of their generally cuddly nature.

why are they so cool?: Because of her cool number and because she's one of the best troopers among her corps. Strong, fast and smart, she's an effective battle unit and has a mind set for moving up her career and become a general one day. Her troop mates are a tad afraid of her because she's a very strict commander, dont expect to be cut any slack when she's in charge.

The timeline of First Order is a bit of unexplored ground for me as I mostly tend sticking to Clone Wars period, so maaaaaybe there's a prospect of time travel for her in her future development (which as of latest Star Wars Rebels happenings is proven to be possible in Star Wars universe) :lol:

Jedi status: Padawan
How did she lose her arm?: In a lightsaber accident. Unfortunately, not all jedi are naturally agile and learn quickly.. Nirti was one of the slow learners, but was very excited to try and prove herself, and it led her to trying doing complicated lightsaber tricks in front of her teachers. One went wrong, and she sliced her own arm. It wasnt sliced all the way through but the arm was lost in result. It have greatly affected her spirits, making her very withdrawn and slow to take further steps in her education - and any steps towards any directions, really, resorting to just strictly following senior jedi orders and never taking any initiative (a trait some jedi knights would consider positive and describe as "a lesson well learned", but her master disagrees). She became sulky and extremely insecure about herself, and despite her teachers' best efforts to help her overcome this incident, never really opened back up.
Why is the Ewok offering her a flower?: To cheer her up! She's always looking depressed, and ewoks are happy people not liking sadness, so this caring evok decided to brighten her mood a bit. She's veeery unsure about the entire situation, but doesnt know how to politely decline. Silly togruta. She doesnt yet know ewoks dont take "no" for an answer. He will be all over her face untill she accepts and smiles.
Other:
Ewok origin: Nirti and her master saved this ewok from poachers, selling caught animals and sentient beings alike to various underground enterprises, like fighting pits. The jedi were on a mission to investigate possible separatist activity on that planet, but found smugglers base instead. They couldnt leave the poor abused beings to their plight, and so they engaged in fight with the poachers and freed everyone whom they captured. Sentient beings were provided transport back to their home worlds and animals were returned to their natural habitats when possible or given over to Coruscant zoo to recieve proper care if they were wounded and couldnt survive in the wild anymore, but this ewok refused to leave Nirti's side. He grew very attached to her and would throw a tantrum whenever they tried to separate him from the padawan. She had no choice but to accept her new buddy's friendship. He became "her R2D2" so to speak, and proved himself to be a rather useful team member, eager to help and capable enough to do it. He's great at sneaking and climbing, and accessing small areas where the jedi cannot reach; he's also got rapid adaptability, often finding unusual ways to resolve a situation, ways others wouldnt even think of. He even manages to make Nirti smile sometimes (also a reason why Nirti's master doesnt object having him around).

Unfortunately I to get irate when talking with people but the customers that come in tend to have quite a bit in common with me and I can tolerate their company (Herbert tends to save me by manning the register while I tend to the plants though). At work there is one other fellow that works with us but I really haven't gotten to know them very well which is a future goal of mine. After work I usually head back to my place. I love watching movies, I have a giant TV set up in the corner of my room. And I have a pretty decent kitchen that I cook in everyday. Some nights I bring friends over to share some good food. Weekends usually consist of me taaking my jeep out and I will drive it down to some cavers I know of or I will find a beach. I collect agates and keep them in mason jars at my house. They are really just gorgeous rocks.

I really like these guys! their probably my favorite.
love these lines btw!

notes:

- stripes gown down back and get smaller going down
- top canines are dark grey
- face is supposed to contrast the body and be a "mask" of sorts design wise
- tail is a bob/short tail
- half mane runs down the back and tapers out at the hips.
- mane stripes are optional!
