how do they celebrate the holidays? yuletide
has always had interest in holidays, but always
wanted to do something more, to make the holidays more exciting and
inviting. as she grew, she learned all sorts of skills and spent many hours
testing recipes and finishing the last stitches on a piece of clothing and
working on calligraphy and pretty writing and how to make nice-looking
cards to send out. her favorite thing of all however, is to make the most
extravagant and delicious-looking gingerbread houses any halinhi in her
village has ever seen. her love for gingerbread houses goes unmatched,
and she prides herself highly on her gingerbread houses. each year many
halinhis from neighboring villages come to order her gingerbread houses
for their own holiday festivals, and she spends many weeks prepping in
advance so that everyone can get one of her special gingerbread houses.
not just that though, is that yuletide loves the gift-giving part as well.
she goes all out each year to give everyone special and unique gifts she
picked out herself for them, and were tailored to the person she sent it
to. ice skating is also something she's been interested in, but she never
quite got the hang of it until she was older. this didnt deter her though,
and she put in the time and dedication to slowly learn how to skate. she
now teaches the younger halinhi children how to skate if they want to,
so that they can know how to do it early instead of having to learn late
like she did. each year, all the neighboring villages gather together to
hold an ice-skating competition (among other winter activities) and it's
always been yuletide's dream to participate one year. however, being so
busy with baking, she never really has time. nonetheless, she's content
watching the halinhi she teaches growing up and participating in these
events themselves.

Have a couple lotls that you think would just make the perfect outcome? Want to get some more to add to your collection?
Welcome to the Nursery! Please follow the following rules before posting.

- Two Lotls of any gender identity may breed.
- Lotls may have clutches of 1 to 2 Lotls when bred.
- Three Lotls may be bred when the correct item is applied
- Permission from owners must be shown to breed with someone elses Lotl.
- All parties must own their Lotls for 3 weeks before breeding them.
- Breeding requests may only be submitted when an artist posts an opening!
- Be patient when waiting for your breeding to be completed.
- The parties involved must decide what happens to the offspring, and must notify the species who owns it.
- Marking is allowed, but bumping is not.
- Do not harass the artists to open breedings, or to work on yours.
- All CS rules still apply

These rules are final, and may only have exceptions with items. By posting, you agree to follow these rules.

A quick look at the odds of stuff passing! The only time these are adjusted are if you apply an item to them.

Standard: 100% chance of passing
RNG roll: 1-100 Passes

Common: 50% chance of passing
RNG roll: 1-50 Passes 51-100 Fails

Uncommon: 25% chance of passing
RNG roll: 1-25 Passes 26 -100 Fails

Rare: 15% chance of passing
RNG roll: 1-15 Passes 16 -100 Fails

Legendary 5% chance of passing
RNG roll: 1-5 Passes 6-100 Fails

There is a 30% chance that a Lotl will randomly mutate 1 common trait!
RNG roll: 1-30 Mutates 1-31 Fails

If Mutates then roll 1 - 6 (total number of common edits) to decide which trait is given! If the Lotl already possesses this trait, roll again.

small writing part ;; Slikk has always been great friends with both Samson and Glucose. He’s the one who set them up to live together. Glucose would always be open with Slikk (as open as he could be) and Samson would always gossip and tell everything to Slikk. Basically he was their most trusted friend. He knew that they both liked one another but never had the guts to tell the other so he decided to help them a bit by suggesting they live together to save money. His plan worked and eventually Glucose and Samson started dating. It wasn’t a perfect relationship though, in fact Slikk almost regrets suggesting they live together because he never hears the end of them both complaining to him about the other and how they live. Slikk is used to it at this point and he knows they will eventually make up because even though they complain about each other he knows that Glucose loves Samson and knows that Samson couldn’t live without Glucose. But recently the two had a really big fight that made Samson leave Glucose. After Samson walked out on Glucose, Glucose called up Slikk and asked if he had time to hang out. Slikk spent the entire afternoon and almost the entire night playing video games and listening to Glucose vent and get mad over their fight. He listened to Glucose complain about Samson over reacting about a 7 monthiversery thing and how Glucose didn’t think he did anything wrong. Slikk never really was good at showing he cares and he isn’t good at being friendly per say. So when he offers advise it’s usually rather blunt and a little too honest. Slikk was worried about their fight this time though, he didn’t know where Samson had went to either and he didn’t know how to perfectly fix this. Eventually he headed home late at night and found Samson waiting at his door. Slikk wasn’t too shocked that Samson would come to him first. He let him in and let him vent as well, then gave him advise too. They agreed to try to talk to Glucose in the morning. Slikk wasn’t too certain that everything was going to work out because both sides had bruised feelings and misunderstandings and on top of that they both seemed too stubborn to admit they were in the wrong. Slikk was tired though and he couldn’t think clearly when it was so late. He just had to hope that Glucose could calm his anger to listen and Samson could set aside his pride and expectations to hear Glucose out. Slikk started to drift to sleep even though he had worries of what the morning might bring. He sighed and decided that what may come in the morning will be what it will. He will help both of them if things go wrong. He just had to hope that they can work things out on their own and nothing would go wrong.
