poncho pals are a super lovely species! they're so creative and interesting to design. with them being so open it's easy to create so many unique designs! each pal is differant in some way, it's practically impossible to get a design to close to another design with these fellas.
my favorite pal is actually one rey made, my lovely shy baby sylvie

shes so simple but beautifully designed and elegant.
you deserve all the love in the world for everything you've done for pp's and us, I wish I could get it into more words than this. you are really the best rey <3

Alright, time to get my sappy post out for the world to see!

I've been here since the start of poncho pals, and then some. I'm the reason to blame that we even started making these little duders as a challenge to Rey if she could make 100 of them, just because she enjoyed them.
Each day that poncho pals are made, and loved, and seen makes me so very happy that I have been here for it all. Poncho pals mean a lot to me, from the designs themselves to the community. It feels like one big family that grows with each new owner of a pal to people joining the discord!

Each artist, trial, guest, or even artist application wise, has their own style of making a pal and it just makes me so happy. I think that's why I love Poncho Pals so much. Each person brings their own spin of anything to the community, both when designing them, and when creating a personality for a newly owned one. They're all unique and loveable, and I know for certain that I love them.

Its Poncho Pals birthday today (10/13) and I can't believe they've come this far. They've grown from a silly little challenge to a family and a community. I'm proud to be a part of it, and I look forward to the future for them. So, while this is a pretty sappy 'love letter' or the like about poncho pals, it's also for everyone in the community, thinking about joining the community, and the people who are only just now are even seeing poncho pals.

something they've learned recently: they've learned to try to be more confident. people have been constantly complimenting them recently but all they say in response is just a refusal. they tell them that they’re just not pretty, or cute, or handsome, and all they get in response is either a rude response like “just take a compliment oh my god” or some sort of thing about how they need to fix their self-confidence. so they’re finally taking initiative and trying to be more happy with their appearance.

Something they've learned recently: He's learned that it's ok to have bad days and that it's ok to say "ok, you win this one today" when his mental health dips down. That just because he can't find the motivation or energy to go out, work on projects or even get out of bed that doesn't make him weak or a bad person. That sometimes instead of trying to suppress those feelings and force himself to work that he just needs to take a break and take that day in bed watching youtube videos. Most importantly he's learned that when he does need that day or two to recover and find the energy again that his friends and family won't hold it against him and think any less of him. He's also learned that those who do think less of him for it probably weren't really his friends in the first place and that if they're putting his ability to do stuff over how he is personally feeling and his health then he's better off without them even if it does hurt to cut them off.
