What is a Chimeric hound?:
The Chimeric Hound is rather strange looking. No one is really sure what exactly they are, but they appear to have elements of lions, wolves, and dragons. Their bodies are long and lean and covered in thin, rough fur much like a lion's. These coats can come in all colors and patters, though it's incredibly rare for them to come with base coats of any non-naturally occurring colors. However, it's not completely unheard of. They have broad, rounded faces, their mouths having a large set of tusks protruding from them. Females have theirs growing from the bottom jaw, jutting upward. The males, however, grow from the top and downward. Males also have larger and longer ears than females, as well as a large tuft resembling a beard. Chimeric Hounds have a long, thick tail. They have long, powerful legs tipped in razor sharp talons. They grow to an average height of 5-7 feet at the shoulder.

How'd he get his name?: From a young Chim Hound, Lazarus was a little bit... creepy let's say. He was clearly not interested in playing with his siblings. When he did play, he was rough and ended up hurting one of his siblings during each playtime. Eventually, he would find pleasure in odd things like catching birds in midair or fishing in the rivers. He was quite good at hunting though! His mom decided to name him Lazarus seeing as he was so different from the rest of his family. (Also inspired by the movie!)
