You gaze down into the murky water, the flash of brightly coloured scales appears every few seconds. The water ripples each time a fish breaks the surface, sending waves to splash against the grey rocks that surround the small pond. You crouch down lower, trying to see your way through the watery haze. You notice a few koi, swimming gracefully around, their scales showing an array of colours. A few small fish weave their way between the koi here and there, their colours equally as beautiful. You marvel in amazement, looking harder to see what other types of fish you will find...

My second species, Tropical Guppys! Please fill out the form for only one fish per person :).

although not specified beforehand, this event acts as a final decision of who gets to be an official guest artist (or artist, if desired) for the species.

ill be picking 2-3 lucky people (out of the candidates) by the end of the mayhem. the rest of the guest artist candidates will receive a myo-potion as a thank you for sticking with the species and providing adopts for the community. ♥

no event items will be handled out in this side event.

main rules for the artists!

♥ it is required for you to be able to use oekaki/chickenpaint.
♥ you may create up to 2 criikets for this event in total; 1
unedited criiket and 1 edited, both for the public to adopt!
♥ make sure to specify the criikets edits when posting the adopt.
♥ contests may only be something short, lasting for about 1-3
days; fcfs (first come first serve), raffles or impress mes may
not be done.
♥ because of this, try to space out your adopts. theres quite
a lot of you, but its called a mayhem for a reason. ^^
♥ make sure to set a fitting end date for yourself to be able to
judge an adopt contest! any adopts past the end date will be
judged by me without a warning.
♥ always try your best, but dont push yourself too hard! if
the event is getting too stressful for you to participate, pm
me so we can talk things out. <3
♥ have fun, chat and make friends with the other mayhemers
if you please! friendliness is always admirable.

designing rules for the artists!
(a key to creating a beautiful, unique criiket!)

♥ any line-edits should be made using pen size 2.
♥ thus, editing the lineart (ears, tail, adding fur edits) is
allowed as long as the edits are specified when posting the
adopt. nothing overly major though!
♥ look up images/songs for inspiration! this usually helps me
a lot with ideas and gets the motivation going. <3
♥ experiment with different color schemes, but dont take
colors to an eye-burning state.
♥ feel free to ask me for advice/feedback on edits/designs
before posting your criikets! this is not required but
recommended for the best possible results. i wish to see
you improve every time you create something new. :”>
♥ color the criikets' lines a darker color than their actual
colors, to give it a soft look! (you may look through the
criikets ive released for an example <3)
♥ please recolor the signature if the criikets' colors
match with it — keep it visible no matter what.

(and is most likely the last cup set im able to post, im literally out of time)
