histroy: When alec was born he was the quiet one and to a degree he still is, Alec was born to one of the main defenders of the herd a big strong stallion named Thunder, he wasn't the tactful type and bullied his son when he felt that he was not stading up to his example, and to Alec that was the last thing he wanted to do. His father was a rude, ruthless and a cruel horse, he was the one that no one stood up to and the scientists refered to him as ' the real nasty 'n ' and would plan a completely different route to avoid him after attempting to fix the thousnds of ponds worth of kit he had ruined (for no apparent reason may i add) , his mother tried to do what she could to prevent Thunder from tormenting his son, the other foals used to bully him because of what he looked like, and so got quiter and quiter, when he told his father hoping he could help he used to laugh and tell alec not to be a wimp,and so the beatings from his father became worse, he would shout at his son, maybe this will toughen you up, His mother would cry and beg thunder not to.
They had had enough. So one day Alec and his mother Desire left to join another herd, they traveled day and night untill they found a safe haven, here they spent several years, as Alec grew and matured he became a beautiful stallion, and he was stronger and faster than before. One day Alecs mother sadly passed into the void, Alec was grief driven he vowed that if he ever crossed his father's path again he would have his revenge for the years of pain Thunder caused him and his mother. Alec wondered the land for months never staying anywhere to long, he was lost in his thoughts and didn't know what to do with him self. Untill he met a beautiful mare named Titania and joined her herd, all thoughts of revenge had vanished and for a time he was happy. A year later their first foal was born, a filly. Alec and Titania (say it like TIT-TAR-NEE-A )decided to name her Desire.Shortly after the herd decided to move to some new feeding grounds, to alec the terrain was becoming more and more familiar, suddenly he relized were he was and galloped to the lead stalllion , he said 'we must leave now, its dangerous here, many will perish if we continue!' the lead stalllion of course thought he was the strongest as he had been lead stallion for a number of years, (but he was a kind lead stallion although he was strict) so replied with 'NO one will harm us and what makes you say these things?' ' say these things because i was from here and there is a terrible evil, in the form of one of our own.....' replied Alec, the worry in his voice was clear.
'what makes you say this? who is this?' inturupted the lead stallion, he was taking Alec seriously now.
'.....My Father..' There was a long pause. the herd came to a hault. There was a challanging scream from a stallion nearby but hidden from view, 'SO you have returned ''SON'', you ran from me before and so you will again.'
The feelings of anger, hate and most of all REVENGE welled up in side Alec untill he felt like he would burst. The lead stallion accepted the challenge, 'Stop.' said Alec firmly, ' THIS is my fight.'
Alec had no experience wih combat, so he prayed to what ever gods may exsist that if he didn't make it Please let the others live and Desire to grow up to be the strongest most beautiful horse there ever was. Alec camly walked into the middle of the battle field,
Titania shouted ' please don't Alec he'll destroy You!' Alec ignored her and stopped in the center of the field, he thought to him self,
'NOT if I destroy him first.'
Alec could hear the hoof steps clanking on the stone ledge, Thunder came into view on a small hill about 400meter away, he reared, his sharp hooves pawing at the air, then galloped directly at Alec, attempting to through alec of balance. But Thunder didn't think that from his ''wimp'' of a son that Alec, the one that was the ''joke'' the on they ''jibbed'' and ''broke'' bits out if all through his child hood, that he had been planning this day for a long, long time, Alec new all his fathers tactics, from the eveings Thunder had spent boasting about how he had defeated his previous opponants. The two horses engaged, bitting and slashing at each other, Alec missed and Thunder took advantage, he knocked him to the ground, Alecs crippled body lying on the floor, Thunder moved in for the final blow that would end the life that lay before him, Just then the lead stallion galloped full pelt and drove Thunder away from Alec,
''you would kill you'r own son? I would have thought better of you, Thunder'' shouted the lead stallion, ''come brother... i am sure we can sought this out.'' Thunder was equally mached. ''yes lets'' replied the lead stallion, now a we know him as alecs uncle.
the to stallions battled over alec, each on gaining a little and then losing a little.In the end it was thunder who struck the final blw and Uncles body fell to the floor,colf and lifeless.
The silence that follows was long, and shocked, the lead stallions herd begani to morn, the crying got worse.
This rekindled the memories in Alec's mind. The nights where his mother cryied, the beatings, the constant tormenting. And the anger, the saddness, the feelings of hatred for the stallion who had caused so much pain, to so many. THIS HAD TO STOP.
Alec pulled himself up, and screamed his challenge.
''You just don't give up do you?'' sneared his father.
the final battle began. Alec stiked,lashed and bit. And slowly he felt his father weaken, he was drenched with sweat.
Alec struck, and his father buckled, He struck again and Thunder fell to the floor, Alec was about to strike again but, something inside him made him stop. Alec turned to go away. '' your the same wimp of a son as before! what are you afraid of, finish me off then, or are you sacred?!''
''No, im just a better horse than you'' replied Alec, ''in exchange for your life, you will b banished, you will ever trouble me or any of my herd, family or desendants. OK?'
with that alec galloped back to the herd where he was called a hero.
