But, jeeze. How do you make pinkish/purpleish look good on a design? I was always one for natural colors, but this one and the blue design you made are just fanatabulishious. I'm glad she got a good home. :3 |

Crystalline Wolf Adopt #5 Winner = AprilShowers Congrats :) Username: AprilShowers Wolf Name: Opal. A precious gem, just like this wolf, and possessive of a dark and mysterious edge--it was the first name that popped into my head upon seeing this beautiful girl. I think it fits her perfectly! Gender: Female, of course. Those gorgeous pink gems couldn't belong to a boy. :3 Age: I'm not quite sure how the Wolves age, so I'll say about 21 in human years. Element: Opal represents the element of darkness. She is the one who roams about in the peace of the night, hiding her soul in a shroud of calming mist. An outsider, yes, but Opal wouldn't change her ways for anything. Personality:Opal is... ~Quiet~ Opal doesn't talk much, and prefers to keep to herself. It's not because she's standoffish or shy, she just doesn't feel the need to socialize much. There's another layer in her that most other wolves don't understand, a layer that makes up who Opal is. She knows other creatures just don't get her, and she doesn't usually bother to try. ~Loyal~ Once Opal has warmed up to someone, she'll be their friend for life. She's the kind of wolf who will risk her life for her mate and few close friends, and her loyalty is one of her strongest qualities. She won't give up on you, no matter what happens...it's kind of nice to know. ~Intelligent~ Opal just knows things--it's as simple as that. She's an abstract, big-picture thinker, and can usually figure out the solution to any problem. The other wolves know this, and will more often than not turn to her when trouble arises. ~Sensitive~ One of her faults: Opal is a perfectionist, and when other wolves don't think what she's done is perfect, she can get very upset! Touchy, most definitely, and easily annoyed. ~Mysterious~ Opal doesn't let on much about her life, and others usually see her as aloof and a bit mysterious. Nobody's quite sure what's under the quiet, smart wrapping. That's intentional on her part--Opal gets distinct pleasure from rubbing it in other people's faces that she knows stuff they don't know. Silly girl! ~Sweet~ Underneath all the drama, Opal can be a real sweetheart. A romantic at heart, Opal is the one who never forgets what your favorite candy is, and she daydreams just as much (maybe more) than the rest of us about having someone special to love her. She's also very tactful, and good at knowing the right thing to say when her best friend arrives in tears because her third mate left her for a prettier girl. Wing Design: Well here's my fail of the day! Broken tablet, so I had to use an editable...but I think this is the gist of a decent design for Opal. :3 Is Darkness bad? Darkness, like so much else, is in the eye of the beholder. It is not inherently wrong, but for centuries we the people have associated it with terrible things. This is a natural response to the nighttime--the night, for our ancestors, was dangerous. Today the sentiments have carried over, and it has become universal that dark is equal to evil. Here's the crucial point: Crystalline Wolves are not people. They are a species unto themselves, and it would be unfair of us to project our views onto their culture. Darkness cannot be bad--to them it may even be a time of rejoicing! Opal is not evil, and neither are any of her fellow dark elements. They are equal to the light; no better, no worse. ~EnragedWolf~ Wolf Name: Zafirah meaning successful from the Arabic origin Gender: Female Age: She's about 6 years old Element: Dark Personality: Outgoing Zafirah is a very outgoing type of wolf loving to be around the others, feeling very comfortable around them. She really likes to interact with the others as well, telling stories of the past or even talking about her day. She likes to socialize more with the males of the species more than the females. Zafi considers the females to cause too much drama in her life. She does like to talk a little too much though, but not enough to annoy the others. Short-Tempered Zafirah is very short-tempered and may show it when someone gets on her last nerve or if she doesn't like someone right off the bat. These wolves have to work hard to get on Zafirah's bad list though, because if you do she usually likes to tell you off even if you don't say anything to her. She seems to be more snappy and unlike herself around the wolves that she doesn't care for also, and may once in awhile try to start a fight. Protective Zafirah is protective over the ones she loves, and the wolves that he hangs out with most of the time. If someone tries to pick on anyone of them, she will stand up to the wolf and try and make them back down from her. She does try to act like the bigger wolf, puffing out her chest and baring some of her teeth. This is a technique to try and frighten the wolf of her size, not of her strength. Unrelenting Zafirah is the type of wolf who doesn't like to give up so easy. If she wants something than she won't give up on it, always trying her hardest to achieve her goals. She may seem consistent, but she tries not to be annoying with her persistency. This behavior is common to see with her, if she wants her goal to be achieved than she will go for it until she can finally make it happen. Wing Design: Working on it now, if i don't get it done on time I will describe it (hopefully that's okay too). She has larger wings that look very crystalline, alternating colors of light blue to a hot pink. The wings look flakey, and easily to break but are stong enough to lift this wolf up onto different cliffs of the islands. Is Darkness bad? Darkness isn't always evil, take the example night time it's not evil. |

So the only problem is you can't access the flop-ears? (please correct me if i'm wrong, and explain your problem the best you can c:) Have you checked to make sure you haven't looked over them? Please, let me know if you can't access/find anything else; the only pre-made add-ons are flop-ears with lock alpha, and butterfly wings with lock alpha.(I count the horn and open wings as extra layers)
