Personality: Spirit is a wild child, ha, lie. Spirit is like a four headed monster, so bipolar. One moment he may be chasing a butterfly, next he might be killing it. *sigh* But, he does do anything to protect his bounded human. Like the time with that thing. Ha, Spirit believes he can talk with ghost. I don't to much about that, so don't let him get you manipulated over his ideas. He is a sweety to other Runes, sometimes he likes to bug the ancients. But, the best, he will never get angry, unless he is chasing something or fighting.
Story:
I ventured through the woods as I saw a totem pole. I took into admiration to it until I saw something move at the top. A little Rune dragon flapped it's way down to me. I caught it and heard some type of purring sound. I giggled and headed to my tent. I was camping on my own for the first time. I crawled in with the little rune. I put my finger to my chin as I thought. "I shall call you Navnik Mitne Vaeriar!" I heard him chirp as he gave approval. "I will call you Spirit for short." I say with a smile.
That night, I hear something in the woods. I wake up with my rune on my head. I pick him up and peer out of my tent. I see red eyes and go quiet. Spirit squawks and flies at it and chases it away. I sat there dumbstruck as my little rune chased the large object around. I sighed as he did.

Ball game
The ancient Maya ballgame called pitz was part of Maya political, religious, and social life. Played with a rubber ball ranging in size from that of a softball to a soccer ball, players would attempt to bounce the ball without using their hands through stone hoops attached to the sides of the ball court. The ball court itself was a focal point of Maya cities and symbolized the city’s wealth and power. The playing arena was in the shape of an I with high platforms on either side of the court allowing for large numbers of spectators. Portable stone court markers known as hacha (HM 647, 649) usually depicting animals or skulls were placed around the arena. Murals depicting captives, warriors, Creation myths, and transfers of political power from one ruler to another were painted around the ball court. The ballgame gave neighboring cities an alternative to war for settling disputes.
Religion
They worshipped everything in nature and tried to explain how things happened because of the Gods. The Mayans believed that the world was made up of heavens and underworlds. They were linked together by a giant tree, which had its branches in the heavens, and it's roots in the underworld. Another Mayan explanation of the world was that the world was a giant crocodile or turtle and that Gods lived in the sky and heavens and there was a watery underworld below. People could communicate with the Gods through prayers, sacrifices and visions.
Pyramids
   The ancient Mayans built two types of pyramids, those that were meant to be climbed and those that were not.  The first type was used for holding sacrificial rituals.  The other type was not meant to be touched and was sacred.

Her Personality: Just as her name suggests, Akira is like a light, always shining even in the darkest of times. She loves to make everyone around her happy and is very affectionate. She loves to observe humans whenever they visit the forest she lives in, and even sometimes steals a sandwich or two from some picnics!

Despite her bubbly and happy personality, Akira prefers to take shade from the sun on a hot day, and when it's raining she loves to jump around in the mudpuddles the rain makes, usually getting her pale fur muddy and messy from doing so, unfortunately.

Akira's rarely sad, and is constantly positive, even though her cheerful-ness can sometimes get on others' nerves! She loves looking after the younger Tag-a-long deer foals and knows all they're names, they look up to her like a younger sibling would a big sister, or sometimes, if fate had taken the life of a certain parent, they would look up to her like a child would a mother .
