Vaerro's story (must be at least one paragraph): When Sky was old enough to be curious, which for her was very young she wondered why she was the color of the above and yet could not go there. Some times she would stare at the cloud strewn heavens for hours and one time for a whole day pretending that she was there among them. She knew her kind existed with wings but were not common and she dreamed of being one of them. The Alpha of her pack worried that she would never totally leave the dream state in which she continued to return, he spoke to the healer about Sky, "what shall we do about the dreamer, she is not good for the pack" he said. The healer looked back at him knowing that eventually Sky would grow out of this phaze, "She is old enough to go on a quest, to find herself and know herself without her dreams." The Alpha nodded, such a quest would firmly place Sky's feet on the ground. So it was that a moon later Sky was sent on a quest of personal understanding, She first headed toward the highest point to try to touch the heavens that being her personal goal for some time. The mountain was days away. Sky rested the second day, hot and tired she had a vision of herself among the clouds but wingless she marveled at the thought. She let the dream carry her not wanting it to end, but it grew scary and dangerous, showing her that even in the heavens it is not idealic. She awoke with a start, realizing that she had a cloud on her pelt, a sign that a lesson had been learned. Sure she still wished she had wings and could live among the heavens, but now she would not live in the heavens among her dreams always. She returned to camp wiser, ready for responsibilities as a teen.

When I was small I walked along a small path to my secret tree house with my friends. Me and my buddies, Kasper, and Matilda, played and played in our secret tree house. But then when the heavy storm came our tree house was destroyed. Matilda and I made it out safely but Kasper was crushed in between 2 of the tree branches. After the accident, Matilda ran off to get help but was stopped by Me. “ No. It’s too late to save him.” I said already sad for Kasper. Matilda shook her head, “ No it’s no too late.” she said with a glimmer of hope in her voice. I just shrugged and padded away from the Tree house still listening to Matilda yelling to the tree house still waiting for a answer, “ Kasper? Kasper are you there?!”. After a few minuets I heard a faint sound coming from the Tree house, “Matilda?! My leg is crushed between the 2 branches.” Kasper yelled. Matilda pulled the two branches with all her might and got Kasper free. I just sat there watching the two. “ Matilda where’s Julius?” Kasper asked. Matilda narrowed her green eyes, “ He abandoned us. He abandoned you.” she said. I laughed aloud and walked over, “ I did, did I?” I said coldly. Matilda just growled and headed home. Kasper stood up and limped away from me with Sadness, Betrayal, and Anger in his eyes. “ You left me.” he said. I just laughed again and walked home never wanting to see them again. If so, they got something coming. Hope You Like It

Julius is a bad person now and Matilda and Kasper stay out of his way.

Vaerro's story (must be at least one paragraph): Aztec was destined to be special, of course all vaerrero are special in one way or another but he showed signs of being different from the beginning. He was born with markings not unlike the ancestors for which he was named would have made, and his pelt was the color of a pot from the same period. Other Vaerro expected great things from him, but the Alpha cautioned "do not place an adults things on a baby for then the baby will stay that way to avoid becoming the adult you wish it to be." The pack nodded to his wisdom, they understood not to burden a youngling to early. The Alpha waited till the pack calmed and sent them away he looked at Aztec in his protective bubble and shook his head, "great things will be expected of you, will you be strong enough to handle them?" the Alpha asked not expecting an answer, but amazingly Aztec nodded his head, indeed he could and would handle them, just wait and see.
A year later Aztec was proving his worth, he was a babe no more and had jumped all hurdles behind him. The Alpha seriously wished Aztec was his so he could make him the next Alpha, but it was not so He was childless so the next Alpha would be chosen by a game of strength. Aztec he knew was more wisdom then strength. He went to the shawman to ask if there was a way to change the rules of the game for he was feeling his age very greatly.
The time came that the Alpha had died, the Shawman who was also old set the test for the next alpha by pack tradition. The eldist of the tribe were surprized at what the Shawman asked the group to do for the tests, but who questions a shawman? Aztec easily won the tests set for the Alpha leader but he didnt feel right about it so spoke up, "the former Alpha loved me like a son, so changed these tests to my favor." he said looking at the ground, "I am not ment to be Alpha, I have known for a long time that I am ment to be next Shawman." The shawman looked at him, not a bit surprised, just releaved that he could admit it. Aztec pointed to a strong young fellow that had failed all the tests but one, "We all know it is he who should be Alpha, for he has the strength and courage to lead."
the young teen looked at Aztec in shock for they had been unfriendly for a time, then nodded. "I vow to be a better friend to the Shawman Aztec." He said reaching out his paw for Aztec's, they shook hands knowing that they would have to work together for the good of the people, the former shawman walked out of the pack to die his way, leaving Aztec the shawman and the other the Alpha.

Story/Art Fyre came to the aviary when she was very little with her mother. They live there with Short Song, Little Chirp, and Dustie-plus their mothers. (Luckily, their aviary is pretty big.) Fyre is actually very fast on her feet AND wings, and often beats the other Cythus at 'who can run around the bush fastest' or 'who can fly to the top of that maple tree'. The other Cythus often tease her lightly (''Who cares about cats? You could outrun them!"). Fyre loves her friends, and they love her too. However, she is on a search for a human companion to be her friend as well-it makes it worse when the other Cythus brag ("MY human gives me sunflower seeds!" "Mine gives me TWENTY a day!!") about their humans. She decided that she will get the best owner of all.

She thought the bright yellow flower just ahead was the cythu. She triped and went over. But she was lucky. She landed in the water and was ok. But she has to stop looking. She can't get hurt again
