Fanart with experimental effects

One of my favourite music artists at the moment. Quality noise / hyperpop. Low volume needed to not blow your eardrums out.

Most of their lyrics contain explicit content, which is why I'll be not naming / linking them here. But if you've seen them around, then you'll probably recognize the character above. :)

Just drowning in shallow water. I keep thinking of my old art. I was way more confident with experimenting, not so stilted as I am now. I want to go back. My, aren't I just ungrateful? Meow.

Experimenting with colouring method.

Recipe for anyone interested: Square hard edge pencil, 2-12 size, about 110 opacity + scatter (the smaller, the larger amount). The smaller the size, the darker the shade. All sizes on separate layers (biggest at the bottom to smallest at the top) set on multiply. Last layer on default for extra shading (the one that is affected by multiply). Top layer overlay to add some colouring (above: pinkish tones in red). Lineart in size 2 square hard edge pen. Add to that highlights w/ chromatic abberation (3 layers on the very top of add coloured in red, blue and green).

Background squiggles? I wasn't the one who invented this technique, so I won't keep it a secret. Yeah, just use airbrush on max size (important: round hard edge or round soft) + extra low opacity. Spray it evenly on a transparent layer, then use a bucket tool in different places on the canvas. Make sure to not coil the airbrush too tightly / overlap it - you may end up with a lot of stray pixels when trying to fill the squiggles in.

Also made modifications using the texture brushes in some places.

I have begun this challenge again! This time around I’m not using set colors, but instead using the songs as a means to capture the color vibe.

Little things that make me happy

Hello chicken smoothie. today i have a drawing i did myself. today is a drawing of the rare butterfly wolf that people were wanting for the chickens smoothie birthday event. that was a while ago. oh boy am i going down memory lane or what? Im making this during lunch and someone said this was very accurate. This is one of my favorite smooths and his name is proton. I didn't make that name by myself, it was made by chicken smoothie automatically so don't give me credit for that. but what you SHOULD give me credit for is the art. Please do not say that this is bad or ai generated. I've gone overboard for what i was saying i would do if you said my art is bad or ai generated and for that i apologize. i did not mean it however I would cry if someone said that. Imagine if YOU spent hours on your work just to be slandered. although this smooth is very rare, I will trade it for sunback, pastel dog, or an OMG SO RARE butterfly wolf. Also, i'm commisioning anywhere between 3-58 chicken dollars for art because my mom spends her money on cigarettes instead of me so i need to do commisions for chicken dollars. And remember, the more chicken dollars, the more good the art! (the attached image is proton)
