based on this drawing by Morta Entry one, a little flower bab. Surprisingly a water element. Standard edits ^^ I honestly just did this to start practicing with the tree sort of design. I figured it would be best to show my weaknesses as well as my strengths so that critique can be offered. (That way I can improve) |

Ahh this is and interesting concept, I like the idea c: for critique, what I do to make the lines look sharper to to use the eraser or color (whether it's over another colour or not) and going over the ends to make it pointed, and for shading/texture on the tree, I kind of would use the dodge and burn tools but with really low opacity.
i may steal this design concept if that's alright with you, you may want to use it if you become an artist ^^ |

Hello again! I saw an absolutely gorgeous drawing that inspired this, but I can't seem to find the image anywhere? I think this deviates from the original drawing a lot, but it was one of a girl with pastel blue hair in a navy blue/black suit that had golden stars plastered all over it?? The artist who made the image did amazingly and I just can't seem to find it, but it inspired this since the image was just so gorgeous I felt like I had to make something as gorgeous //and then failed to get even close I didn't bother with a palette and refs since my head is all messed up from sickness and dealing with that stuff gives me a headache, but most of the colors probably wouldn't be on the palette since I was just playing around with the dodge and burn tools Comments & critique are very welcome~ (as well as a link to the piece it was inspired by if anyone can find it??) entry #1 entry #2 entry #3 entry #4 entry #5 entry #6 entry #7 entry #8 entry #9 entry #10 entry #11 entry #12 entry #13 entry #14 entry #15 entry #16 entry #17 |
