with the Sooty it often caused the white mane and tail to have a grayish tint. Darkness can vary with each horse. I chose not to make this one extremely dark as to show the smaller details.

This gal also started with a cream base. Then adding gold and tan in various tones. A simple white mane and tail classify her as a palomino. (in this case more of a golden palomino)

on this lovely lady i started with a cream base and began to shade and add darker colors from there. So the result is a highly pigmented perlino. I left this one solid.

These are my entries for the artist competition.
A little about me you ask?
Well I am a night owl and often on here late at night. I am on nearly every day and often use art as a way to spend my time. I have horses of my own and I have extensive knowledge of them. I enjoy practicing different coat patterns and markings. Although less likely in the wild I plan on including a few rare patterns. I am a tad rusty on my genetics but I can include them later if needed. Please let me know if you would like anything else.

After a bit of thinking I decided to post a base color first and under each base color there will be the same color with added markings and patterns. Hope that helps!

There are several sub pattern horses under neath each of these base colors. also a few patterns under the roans.
