Why do you think you should be picked?: Personally I think I can make reasonably high-quality adopts even if they might not be the best out there. I'd really like the chance to improve my skills and also get that experience working in a team to keep an adoptable species going. Also, I'm just a big fan of these gorgeous lines and I'd love to help get the species going by helping to make adopts c:

I wanted to do a design with spots and I also wanted to draw birds, and they combined into her.
As always critique is very much welcome and encouraged. She can also be reserved as a MYO if anyone wants her.

I wanted to try my hand at some edits ^^ I think they turned out okay, but I want to know what y'all think.
The design is kinda based on how the sky was today: not quite blue or white.

Also, I'm pretty bad at coming up with my own designs (that's why this one is so simple).
If you want to suggest a theme/palette or critique this one, that'd be awesome!

While this is an adequate design, it's a little plain. An easy way to spice it up is to look up color palettes with a base color close to what you already have, and adding in a bit of complexity with the other colors. Here's a search I did on a palette site with a lot of potential.

Also, poking through those HUGE pages of adopts over on DA is a good way to come up with ideas on the actual design. Like this one.

Dapple Gray Frame Overo

I really like this one, I'm sure there are more efficient ways to dapple and overo which hopefully I can improve on c;

If you'd like to know how I do my dappling, i use my air brush, adjust the size to the average size i want for my dapples, crank down the opacity a bit, turn up scatter & spacing (?) and spray over the area a few times until the dapples appear how i want them ^^

Well, I know that when i try out for artist spots, i prefer to recieve feedback and critiques and little tips ^~^
it helps me to be able to grow as an artist and i never know if what im producing is good enough for the people going through unless they supply feedback.

since this was always the case with me, I do my absolute best to reply to each entry to just give them a little peace of mind and help them the best i can ^^

I like this one as well, only thing is that its a little too pinky cx red duns have more of a reddish tone to the brown it is. example

It looks a bit more strawberry roan to me than red dun, but a good concept of it ^^
again, my best recommendation i can offer is to just follow a reference. i do this for every horse i do, be it a real horse or a piece of art, i try to mimic the colors & shades the best i can to get it as accurate as possible and follow the patterns how they are.

Buttermilk Buckskin Leopard Appaloosa

This is the first time I have tried a leopard and half way through I changed the way I was doing it so it probably looks strange xp

Leopard appy's can be pretty difficult to do - i honestly couldnt do them until more recently, and I'm still not the best at them cx
My best recommendation I can give for leopard appys is to find a good, clear reference picture. Follow the markings, and place your spots where they are on the ref, shape them similarly, etc. Experiment around with all the tools to find things that work for you ^~^ this will help you to avoid them being too circular & small, and help create a more realistic effect.

aside from that, mane & tail should be white as well, and the stripes on the hooves should be a little more gray than black.
im excited to see what else you submit^^
