Wow look, I tried to make wings. Timer is off. I was doing stuff while working on this I just think these things are so cute, I might make more entries jut because. Ugh. I love the idea of these.
Some stuff about me in case you want me as an artist 1. at the moment I do these with a mouse, but I'm saving for a drawing pad 2. I tend to add small things, from a piercing to a bracelets on pets 3. I am fairly new to all of this, but so far I've enjoyed making things and testing new ideas But yah, I hope you like it ^^ |

How to hide how bad your designs are: Cover 'em in freckles. I probably could've picked a better shine, but, eh, I'm too lazy to go back and do something better. Hopefully, the hair doesn't look too bad...? wow this design is bland. |

The timer is only so high because I was using this opportunity to figure out how to maneuver the layers, familiarizing myself with the layout, and creating my first entry, which shall be posted here. (: The cover probably took a grand total of ten minutes to make, possibly even less. Username: mirrors. Why do you want to become an artist? - Well, for one, this is a gorgeous species; I've drawn a lot of inspiration from the species concept and the lines and I have quite a few ideas for designs. Plus, I love having the creative challenge of making beautiful and diverse designs; being an artist would allow me to expand on that and encourage me to continue drawing more. How active are you/can you be in the community? - I'm on one to five times every day, sometimes for hours. While I'm also on this website for other experiences, it wouldn't be too much of a trouble at all to spend a few hours on designs. Of course, as with anyone, there are exceptions to this (holidays, vacations,) but I will be sure to make it well-known when I won't be able to devote my time to this species. Do you have any previous experience? - I'm hesitant to answer this one because I have literally just started using Oekaki, but I think that I've taken enough time to find my way around the program that I'm just as capable (if not more) as anyone else. The answer is no, I have zero experience, but I would rather you judge me on my entries than this fact. <3 Other: Good luck to everyone! |

I've realized that my colors have sort of been....off lately. I wanted to try and focus more on the palette/design with this kalon than anything else, so this guy has very minimal edits. I also decided this would be a good time to try and learn the art of watercolor usage (I will forever admire the artists who seem to have tamed this tool...I have the hardest time with it ;v;) I think I may have done a little better color-wise this time, but I'd still adore any critique/tips!

Whoooo boy that hair pretty much destroyed my hand. Still, I think it was worth it <3
Combining some of my new experiments with my old (mostly shading, for the old.) I really hope I've improved! I'm always looking for critique, so please don't hold back. I got a lot of comments that my colors weren't exactly going together well, so I tried to be more careful with that. Still, if they still seem off, please let me know! <3 (nr); sclera color (c); hair, tail (uc); short fur, ears (r); horns, halo, glow (halo) (l); shine on body (ears, paws) I know that I chose a tame legendary trait, but I honestly fell in love with the look. I honestly wasn't planning on this being legendary at all ;v; edit;; the ear was bugging me a bit. I'm still very new to deer/rabbit-type ears, so if anyone is willing to help, please do ;u; edit #2;; Aaaa man so I went in to move the ear forward (based on Karmel's lovely suggestion), and I thought I might as well try out the cream suggestion too....and holy cow was Karmel right. What a difference! I seriously can't thank you enough, Karmel! You have no idea how nice it feels to be able to improve and bring life to a design that I worked so hard on <33 |

are really neat designs. The ear might be a little too far back? Otherwise I quite enjoy the overall aesthetic here. I do think some alterations could've been made to the colors as the blue seems offset from the rest of it. Maybe instead of the blue base you went with something more cream to balance the pinks and gold? Nevertheless, stunning entry! Can't wait to see more from you. ^^ |

Aaa thank you so much for the feedback! Now that you say it, I do agree that the ear is probably too far back. And I think cream could create some nice balance, like you said!
