Trying my hand out at designs :>

Pros ;;
I really like the color scheme you chose for this, from the sparkle color itself to the base coat. I also love the little sparkly bits that are surfacing into the coat. Very lovely choice :3

Constructive Crits;;
I would have really loved to see a lighter blue inside the eyes for the shine. It isn't a design killer, certainly. I just think it would have made the eyes pop a touch more?
And then the blue on top of the ears (with the stripes and the like?) I think those markings would look a bit better as a desaturated // lighter blue. (Dragging the color more to the left and up ))
But all in all this is a strong design <3

There's one more tiny flaw, there's a lack of purple in the paws, but it isn't too big of an issue.

Yes this one is lovely <3 You're really learning how to manage / tone down those facial markings, great job! I'm so proud of you.

Another really strong design! I love te markings and the overall color pallete, with the range of different light and dark colors.
My only complaint is that the charm isn't sparkling --- it needs to sparkle. (I use a size one pencil to do so)
My other suggestion is that perhaps the markings on the face could be toned down or thinner? :>

experience working with adopts?: I have worked with a few of my own on open lineart but no official adopts yet.
do you know horse coat colors and markings?: Yes, pretty well.
tell me about yourself please,: I have been on CS for a while, I love animals and studying horse genetics is something I really enjoy as well as art!
why do you think you should be picked?: I think I could be helpful in the adopt because I have at least a basic understanding of genetics and I am used to drawing horse coats/colors, but really I just admire this species so I wanted to give this a try and if you think I can be an asset to the adopt I will be glad to help out!

Here they are! I was going for an ocean theme, so the charm is shaped like a water droplet. The blue fur patches were an afterthought because I thought the design was a bit flat without them. Any suggestions?

Oooh. This is a really cute and strong entry. I'm very impressed with your creative charm shape!

Perhaps use that lighter white to do some wave-y markings or at least add some light to the paws? I would love to see some more, well....motion through the design, if that makes sense! This is If you don't want to use the light on the paws, maybe use the darker you chose? I think using the airbrush on this would make it look a lot better, though this is already really great, so good work :D

Basic Information about Me:
I used to be an artist for various old equine adopts.
I know and do well with genetics.
My most active hours are from 11pm-6am EST.
I work with a mouse (I have an art tablet but I can hardly work Oekaki with it.)
I tend to shade for more depth, and always make a shadeless version.

If unwanted they will be kept.

After being kicked out since they were born, these two are forever searching for a new home. However, their unattractive colours make them an easy target for predators, and make everyone dislike them.

So they keep travelling, and keep going, until they cannot anymore.

The right is the protector, saving them from harm and keeping them safe.

The left is the watcher, making sure that they can survive.

Together, they form one.

A pretty strong entry. The only thing that really needs changing at this point is the Accessory --- it needs to have some sort of pattern on it <3
Other than that, it's simple, but cute <3 Very nice.
