AKA Amira

Ella Banira, a grey sport horse mare, belongs to me. She is loving, she is strong, she is thoughtful. She is beautiful and smart, but was not always like this.
Amira's Life
Amira was born in Central Kansas, to a very thin mother. Their owner had died, and no one knew about the horses. The mother was once well fed, plump, beautiful. When Amira was born, her mother could not take of her. She was ill, and when Amira was just 3 months old, her mother died. She found a way out of the shed they lived in. She wandered Kansas' streets for many days. A woman found her and took care of her until she was 2 yo, then auctioned her off to a man she had never met before. the man had a history of abusing animals. He had even been sent to jail twice. He hurt poor Amira. Only 2 yo, she didnt know if this was normal. She had broken bones, large cuts and gashes. She was muddy, matted, and ill. The man sent her off in a slaughter trailer to my state. In my state they bring horses to auctions before slaughter. I went their, i always do.I saw her. I looked beneath the filth, and saw a beautiful young horse, who needed love. I bought her. She didnt trust me. She wouldn't let me go near her. I fed her every day, 3 times a day, with additional carrots, cookies, and apples. She became plump and fat after about 3 months. Every day she would trust me more and more. I finally was able to groom her. In fact, i thought she was a black horse. When all the filth was off, she was a shiny, dapple grey. After sometime, she looked even more beautiful. I decided that after almost a 8 months with her, i would try and train her. She was 4 yo, so she was past ready. None believed she could ever be ridden. They said its impossible. I believe that anythings possible. I trained her in the english/hunter jumper disciplines. She became fantastic. She loved to jump. I trained her in Dressage, Cross Country, Show jumping. Now she is almost 8 yo, she is healthy and the happiest you wouldv'e ever see her.
IMPORTANT THINGS:
The tear drop represents everything she has been through, good times and bad.
the blue in the sky represents me, the best thing that has happened to her,
the black in the sky represents her entire life before me, dark and gloomy.
