Personality:

Patronizing - Due to a lack of confidence in himself, Ajax tends to find fault in others in order to make himself feel better. He doesn't always share his thoughts about others with everyone, or else he would just look like a total jerk - instead he keeps his opinions to himself or talks behind backs. He has a reputation for being a bit of a gossiper, so he doesn't have many trusting friends.
Stubborn - Ajax is extremely stubborn - its his way or the highway. He'll listen to others' advice, but he usually won't follow it.
Passive - Ajax can handle being taunted - he hardly has a temper. He won't fight unless its commanded of him by a higher rank or he is physically attacked. He's very cool and sarcastic when he's being taunted, and he fights with words instead of force. Of course, its a whole different story on the battlefield, but he'll still throw a good few taunts out there.

Attacks:

Levitation- He uses his psychic powers to levitate himself. When he's in levitation mode, he moves much faster than normal, and he can float in the air. Uses moderate energy.
Sonic Blast- He roars, his psychic powers altering the sound waves to create powerful sonic blasts. Does moderate damage. Uses little-moderate energy.
Eye of Fear- He looks into the enemy's eye, and then they hallucinate - everything they fear comes to life around them. This move is used to distract the enemy. It takes him a lot of energy, and he usually only uses it in desperate situations.
Zero Gravity- He uses his powers to create a zero-gravity zone, thus causing the enemy (and anything else in the targeted area) to float up in the air. He can shift the gravity to move the enemy however he wishes. This move is hard to escape from, but it takes up a lot of Ajax's energy.

Special Ability: Dream travel - he can travel into others' dreams, and if they're in a deep enough sleep, sometimes alter them.

Story:
The young psychic cub bounced playfully along, rolling through the undergrowth and chasing leaves. Nobody would have guessed that in a matter of only two-hundred years, this very cub would be the sour, foul-mouthed saber that nobody really liked. Still, for now he was carefree and innocent, only about a year away from his first hunting and fighting lessons. Life was good and easy - his mother and father were alive and cared for him - father was stern, but not mean, not in the least. Mother babied him - he was always the favorite out of the litter. Both of his parents were proud warriors - his mother psychic, his father fire.
Still, none of that mattered at the moment, because young Ajax was out adventuring - of course, he had gotten permission from his mother and father, and he was sure that somebody was close by keeping an eye on him. But suddenly, a noise caused him to drop into a defensive crouch. What was that? More focus, and his instincts told him that whatever lay beyond the thick wall of undergrowth was not a threat, but maybe even potential prey. He stalked forward clumsily, using what he had observed from the older hunters, and... pounce!
"Ow!" The pretty white cub tumbled to the ground, glaring up at her attacker. She was an ice saberess, well mannered and very stubborn. She was sure to be beautiful when she grew up, with her delicate, frost-like stripes. "Just what do you think you're doing?" She spat.
"Uhm... uhm.. I thought you were..." Ajax was stunned at the beauty he had just tackled. "I'm... sorry." He let her up.
"Right. Well... I'm Eris." She gave a polite smile.
"I'm Ajax." He returned the smile, although his was a lot more... empty and clueless-looking.
And that incident sparked a new friendship. Eris and Ajax started out with a simple walk, and soon they were inseparable friends. Of course, all that time Ajax was quite fond of Eris, although she was clueless to it. Finally, teenage years dawned on them, and the young sabers were starting to find love interests. Ajax was struggling with his feelings for Eris - should he tell her? Did she even like him back? He started towards the lake, where many of the sabers his age hung out and swam. All the time there, planning what he would say to her. Yeah, it would go well, he decided. She would agree to be his mate, and they would be happy. A smile spread across his face. Always an optimist, he was. Then he spotted her, beautiful Eris, laying on a rock, sunning. Other males were sitting nearby, watching her and waiting for their chance to court. "Eris!" Ajax called, running towards her. "Oh hey, Ajax." She greeting him in her normal tone. "Whats up?"
"Eris, I was just wondering..."
"Well, well, who is this? Ajax the loser?" Ajax hadn't noticed that, laying beside Eris was Brutus, who was the stud male of their generation. "Get away from my girl, housecat. Your friendship is over. She's with me now." Brutus spat, puffing out his chest. Ajax stood, dumbstruck. Did that mean...? Well, Eris wasn't denying anything.
"Look, Ajax, we can't be friends anymore." She refused to make eye contact.
"Come on, kitten, get out of here! Nobody wants you, loser!" By now, others were starting to gather and watch. And laugh. And Ajax didn't have the guts to defend himself - he was never made fun of like this before. So he ran, and they taunted him all the way. Suddenly, he was the outcast of his generation - constantly made fun of, everywhere he went. He got angry, and while everyone else was playing and having fun, he was training, trying so hard to impress Eris and win her back. Finally, he felt ready to challenge Brutus.
"Heh, the kitten wants to take on a real saber now, does he? Bring it, doe-brain." The massive air saber growled.
"I'm tired of your insults, Brutus. Lets see what you have to say when my claws are raking down your face." Ajax had never seemed to angry in his life.
With a lunge from Brutus, the fight was on. Ajax lunged at the same time, but was knocked back by Brutus's massive weight. Ajax kicked, pushing the big saber off, and then he jumped in for a bite. But, despite his large size, Brutus was fast. He jumped out of the way, landing a side-slash on Ajax. Ajax growled and jumped at the air saber, and they tussled for awhile, but Ajax was smaller, and despite his training, he couldn't keep it up. Finally, to finish it off, Brutus summoned a massive whirlwind, which was quite impressive for him being in his teen years- most sabers his age were only just starting to use their element. Ajax lay defeated, further battered by the insults that Brutus and his gang threw at him. He looked towards Eris for some pity, but she just looked away. His heart was broken, and he limped away, growing bitter all through his young adult life. His self-image was damaged from his broken heart, and he figured that he just wasn't good enough for females, so he stopped trying. He became sarcastic, and with a lack of caring, he finally started to defend himself - not with his claws, but with his tongue.
