Personality:
Akakios is, well not entirely mentally stable. He's slightly schizophrenic to the point where he hears voices and hallucinates from time to time. He has severe trust issues, as a result of these symptoms. He's much of a skeptic, he cannot believe in something unless he can touch and feel it. He has a hard time understanding the reality of things, and often the events that he thinks are happening aren't really taking place in real life. He is rather critical as well, and tends to nit pick at every little detail that seems to be off. He's a sadist of sorts, enjoying to watch others suffer. Sometimes he may make an enemy or his prey die slowly, just to watch them suffer and cringe. Contradictory to that aspect of his personality, Akakios also has a vast knowledge of healing remedies, although he has been known to screw up royally when concocting them. Additionally, he knows all sorts of poisons and poisonous plants off the top of his head, and can identify them easily. He's rather meticulous when recording his new findings and recipes, but somehow he manages to lack this attention to detail when actually creating those recipes and concoctions.

He tends to be quite mysterious and cryptic in the way he talks and acts, and he is almost never straightforward with anyone. He likes to drop little hints rather than blurt out the straight up, honest truth, and he has been known to speak in riddles on occasion. You wouldn't believe it, but Akakios is somewhat of a dreamer, and a hopeless romantic. He never really got the hang of courting females, nor does he truly understand them. He likes to dream though, and usually seeks refuge in his dreams and fantasies when he is having a rough time. At heart, he's still a bit childish, naive, and maybe even innocent in a way. He never intends for things to go wrong, he doesn't fully understand why he's the way that he his, and he never wanted to be a sadist, but to him, there's just something so compelling about some poor soul in pain. He kind of detests his sadistic ways, but he can't seem to get rid of them either. He kind of hates himself for being the way that he is, and therefore has relatively low self esteem. Akakios seems to be ignorant, well about almost everything, especially the feelings of others.

Attacks:

Poisoned Blood - In dire situations, Akakios can transform his blood into poison, thus poisoning his enemy if they manage to bite him. This does take a lot of energy out of him though, and it is only ever used in very desperate situations.

Tainted Blast - Akakios breathes out a form of toxic gas, and proceeds to blasting it full force at his victim. Usually, this results in severe internal damage, or the victim may suffocate to death. This attack is rather tiring, and the toxins in the gas slightly damage his respiratory system, but on a minuscule level.

Restoring Antidote - Akakios produces a certain type of poison that is able to heal most of his wounds and restore his health. The only downfall is that it leaves him rather tired, and he only ever feels the need to use this "attack" from time to time. Although it is not really much of a true attack.

Toxic Freeze - Akakios' claws enters his opponent's body, and a certain paralyzing poison seeps into the opponent's blood vessels. Depending where on the body Akakios' claws entered the body, the opponent may be paralyzed for up to twenty seconds. This attack is not very draining, as only a very small amount of the poison is needed for the attack to be effective.

Venom Strike - The victim is either bitten or scratched, and a certain amount of poison is released into its bloodstream. Depending on Akakios' mood, they will either die quickly from an overdose, or slowly and painfully. This attack is a last resort as it drains his energy quickly, especially if a large amount of poison is administered.

Story:
When Akakios was born, he was given his name as a sort of hopeful wish. His parents named him Akakios, which means "innocent, not evil" in Greek, in hopes that he would in fact turn out to be a innocent and sane cub. You see, his family had a history of Sabers that were, not the most mentally sane creatures. His parents seemed to jinx their son's fate though, as he managed to inherit schizophrenia. His parents tried to raise him as normally as they could, but for most of his childhood, Akakios was quite aware that he was different from the other cubs. They would tease him for his wild hallucinations and dubbed him with nicknames such as "freak" and "outsider." He was rather lonely in his early life, they others were either afraid of him, or refused to associate with him. Akakios ran away from home once he was old enough to live on his own, wanting to get away from that awful place. Also, he thought, maybe if he wasn't around, life would be easier for his parents. They were often avoided because of their son, Akakios, as well, so he decided to run away to rid them of their burden. He thought that all he ever did was cause problems for everyone around him, and he didn't want that to happen anymore. So, Akakios isolated himself form the world, too afraid to make contact with anyone else. He started roaming the land around where he lived at the time, being somewhat of a nomad. He traveled from place to place often, never really settling down in one particular spot. But he liked to explore the places he lived at, always recording his findings in a tattered old notebook with yellowed pages. He also began experimenting with several different plants that he would find, trying to create new and useful concoctions. He was most talented at discovering healing potions, it seemed. One rather peculiar morning, Akakios happened to come across a necklace that had the feather of a quetzal attached to it. There were several different claws and beads strung onto it as well. He took this necklace with him, finding that when he wore it, his powers were strengthened. Although, at the same time, it seemed to taint his soul. This event is what started his sadism, and his ability to create more...harmful potions. In the present day, Akakios is now at least somewhat respected, but highly feared at the same time. He known as a witch doctor of sorts, his ability to create potions growing as he got older. If one seeks him out for one of his healing potions though, there's no telling what would happen to them. He's also highly known for screwing his potions up at mind boggling proportions.
